Palin will headline media dinner

Former Gov. Palin will headline an annual dinner with journalists in early December.
Former Gov. Palin will headline an annual dinner with journalists in early December.

Washington (CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's sharp criticism of the media won't stop her from breaking bread with journalists next month at a dinner here in the nation's capital.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee will be the GOP speaker at the Gridiron Club and Foundation's annual winter dinner, the organization announced Friday.

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Massachusetts, will be the Democratic speaker at the Dec. 5 event.

Palin's appearance at the Gridiron dinner will come a few weeks after her new book, "Going Rogue: An American Life," goes on sale.

She also made ROBOCALLS in VA when she claimed she was against them in the campaign.... She GOES with the FLOW and wherever the FLOW GO – she SHOWS... If the flow is going down river, Sarah is going down river.

She better watch out because she's going to be on a FLOW that's getting ready to go down a waterfall!! The funny thing about it, when she looks around for her so-called REPUBLI-CAN'T friends, they are not going to be there – they got off the boat at the start of the race and her DUMB-ASH stayed on!!!

  3. What is the fascination with Palin?

Why do the left wing lunatics seem to fantasize about Palin? Are they jelous? Let the woman and her family live in peace. How about we focus on helping the General in Afghanistan get the President to pony up the troops we need to get the job done!

She's speaking at a media event? When the press is barred from most of her events? When was the last time she gave an interview? Let's see - there was Katie Couric and Charles Gibson. That's it, right? So why is someone who communicates only through Facebook invited to a media event? Oh, yeah, she's trying to sell a book.

  7. Palin is great!

I like Sarah Palin because she gets "under the democrats skin"! Go figure they would trash a strong, smart, honest woman. Maybe if Palin learned to Lie like Pelosi, she'd get more left wing support!

Going Rogue has now Gone Stupid....I hope she doesn't make too big of an A_ _ of herself at this event. By the way, on her facebook page she informs us that she wasn't the one who said no cameras, recorders, or media at her Wisconsin event....YEAH, RIGHT!!!! I think her nose just grew another inch.

Oh, boy, Barney Frank on the same dais as Sarah Palin!! This ought to be hilarious!!

I wonder if Barney Frank will reprise his crack about dining room tables, this time directed at Sarah Palin?

"On what planet do you spend most of your time? Ma'am, trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table...."

That would be such great theater.

I have a feeling, though, that Sarah Palin will use this opportunity to say something mean about Jennifer Granholm, an even more attractive still-sitting never-ever-quit
governor who joked last year that Sarah Palin "really set back the cause of hot governors."

As for her book, it's already discounted 69% on Amazon, and it hasn't even been released. They are selling it for $9.00. Check it our....next it will be out at Ollie's junk store and the Dollar Tree.

Great Sarah Palin and the media. I can't wait for her to whoooo us w more unoriginal jokes and simple ideals. The woman is so very sad. Why can't she just go away? Not only has she divided the struggling GOP but she simply speaks of concepts that are outdated and not representative of true American Ideals.

I would love to see her just go away. I am insulted by her persistence to call her self a true American.

Dumb political move on her part.

She'll be exposed and will lose GOP gravitas.

Yeah sure...she never shows up for half of what she commits to..she is a quitter and a coward.

Her book tour is a joke...going to one-stoplight towns so nobody will ask her any tough questions...like.."have you read your book the publisher wrote for you? She's a loser.

To respond to all the postings that say dems are scared of Palin; nope, they're not scared....they're just enjoying watching the train wreck keep happening over and over and over.

And, to those that wonder how many of us have actually read anything she's written or listened to speeches she's given.....YES, we have. You want an illustration of how ignorant she is....let's see, there's the interview where she said she could see Russia, there's the interview where she couldn't name even one magazine she reads, there's the interview where she didn't know what the v.p.'s duties were even though she was running for that office, and on and on and on..

I am looking forward to Inauguration Day in January of 2013 when Obama greets President Elect, Sarah Palin on the front steps of the White House and they ride together to the Capital where she takes the oath of office as the 45th President of the United States.

I wonder who will be her VP? How about Michele Bachmann...

Some ask the question ( " Why are you liberals filled with hate " ) . I would not take it upon myself to speak for the liberals, as I do not consider myself to be one. But shouldn't the question be (" What did we, as conservatives do to make you hate us ") , be the question? I'm curious. What makes you, as a so called conservative, what makes you think that anyone should be happy with the gutting of the constitution by the Bush administration? What makes you think that the people of the nation should be happy with the state of the economy left behind by the Bush administration? Not to mention our standing in the world as a nation that once cared , which was completely devestated by the Bush administration. What planet are you from, that you can not see the ruin left behind by eight years of Republican mis-management.

If the argument you have is ( " Why all the hate" ) you need to open your eyes to the world your party left behind, and try to make the future a little brighter by enlightening yourself, or pay some attention to whats going on around you, and not whats going on within you.
