(CNN) - Sarah Palin is returning to the two words widely credited with helping to spur angry town-halls on health care reform over the summer: "death panels."
In a Facebook post over the weekend, the former Alaska governor launched into a torrent of criticism about the recently-passed House health care reform bill, including the notion "bureaucratic panels" will ultimately decide who lives and who dies.
"We had been told there were no 'death panels' in the bill either," Palin wrote in the post. "But look closely at the provision mandating bureaucratic panels that will be calling the shots regarding who will receive government health care."
Palin initially backed the death panel claim early last August in comments that sparked many of her supporters, and critics of the health care reform bill as a whole, to publicly express their disapproval at heated town-hall forums across the country.
The words "death panel" are nowhere to be found in the bill, but the phrase soon became among the most searched on Google, and President Obama directly rebutted Palin's claim a week later.
In her recent Facebook post, Palin didn't offer further evidence of the establishment of death panels. The non-partisan FactCheck.org has refuted her argument.
"The fact remains that the bill wouldn't require patients to receive counseling sessions, nor would it require a doctor to offer one. Rather, it modifies Section 1861(s)2 of the Social Security Act, defining what services Medicare will pay for. So if a patient receives a counseling session from a doctor or health care practitioner, he or she doesn't have to pay for it – Medicare will," the organization wrote.

Why...why...WHY does this woman continue to spread LIES about this bill????If there were "death panels" set up by it, why would the AMA (do no harm...) & the AARP (which speaks for millions of senior citizens...including me) endorse it??????
And what does she call the profiteering insuance bureaucrats who have been deciding who lives or dies depending on how much money they can suck out of you RIGHT NOW??? Does she have ANY IDEA AT ALL how many grannies, grandpas, moms & dads, kids, aunts, uncles, cousins & poor folk in general they have ALREADY pulled the plug on? She obviously can't be taken seriously.

She's as nutty as ever. There will be no death panels. Every hospital should discuss end of life so the patient can make their own decisions. Do you want to go to hospice? Want to try everything? Want to have your pain managed? End of life – everyone should discuss and have it written down (its called an advance directive) so the families can honor a patient's wishes about their care.

What is interesting is that Ms. Palin seems to be backing her own death panels.....she supports the Republican backed themes of only making sure those with the money have the insurance they need. Making sure insurance companies continue as they do now. She supports the idea of those that can't afford good health care should die while waiting, which is what is happening now. Maybe she's too busy to notice while instructing her nanny what to do with her baby.
Ms. Palin IS A DEATH PANEL in her own right. She has her health coverage and could care less about the rest of us. Thanks Sarah, always right there when we need ya.....

I blame Sarah Palin for all my headaches. Yeah, some conservatives say some stupid things some times...but most will back off when they've been publicly proved wrong. Sarah Palin clearly isn't one of those conservatives. It's funny and sad at the same time. It makes open and honest discussion of health care reform impossible.

If you quote a text, such as the quotes coming from the opposition on the health care bill, then a footnote is needed as evidence to validate the quote. That's the way it works. So why do we keep hearing all these quotes with no footnotes?
Because the quotes coming from the opposition are lies! It's that simple. If I'm wrong, then let's see those footnotes!!! At least that way we would know you acturally read the bill, now that we have an official one. Go for it, guys. Back up what you say with proof!!! Respect comes from proving what you say, not by turning up the volume and threating violence.

My hope is that when she appears on Oprah to promote her book, Oprah will ask tough questions and expose he lack of knowledge. The rest of the book tour will be with very sympathetic hosts.
