Clinton: No truth to rumor she is considering New York gov run

(CNN) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used no diplomatic doublespeak Sunday when asked about a rumor she was considering a run for governor of New York next year.

"No, no," she said on the ABC program "This Week," adding: "I hope maybe we can put it to rest today."

Clinton said she was committed to her job in President Barack Obama's Cabinet, adding it was "an extraordinarily important time to be secretary of state for our country."

"That rumor is dead," Clinton said. "If you could please put it in a little box and send it off somewhere, I'd appreciate it."

Why does CNN continually allow that despicable term "teabaggers" to pass their code of ethics? Even Bill Clinton (who, obviously, knows the term refers to a scumball sexual act) is touting it without shame as a former President! How the youngsters must love the "cool" ex-president! I hope Hillary ditches this man before she runs for anything–he is an albatross around her neck. Certainly not an asset.

I think that Hilary Clinton should quit the Secretary of State position, leave the Obama Administration and run for New York Governor.I think she may be better suited to that position than for the one she currently occupies.

Sure wish she was POTUS. Obama sure has been a nightmare. The economy is a mess thanks to Obama and all his friends on wall street. True health care reform aint gonna happen thanks to Obama and his pharma friends ( back room deals with Billy Tauzin ) and buddies in the insurance industry. This administration has kicked both gays and women to the curb. Don't ask don't give to the DNC. Lastly, let's not forget that CNN just like MSNBC did their part in kicking the better candidate-Hillary Clinton-to the curb. So now we have Obama, who was predictably a failure instead of Clinton. Thanks CNN-you suck.

If Hillary Clinton has any sense she'd jump off the sinking ship of Obama fools and run for NY governor. Then she'd be in great shape to challenge Obama for the nomination in 2012, assuming Obama even decides to run again given the unemployment rate will be 13%.

Sniffit- Hilary don't have to "sabotage" the Presidents agenda, his stupidity in the amateur, naive, unable to make a decision, apologetic, glaring inexperience way of governing, is doing a nice job of "sabotaging" himself.

The hatred for Obama, coming from the extreme right and the extremely wierd is not functional, folks. We elected the guy. He's trying to do what he promised. Perhaps he is not as gifted as the ideal president that lives only in your minds, but who would be? What would that ideal president be doing that's so different? Order Guantanamo closed down overnight? Then what would he do with the prisoners there now? Write a health care bill himself that would extend medicare to all who wanted it? It would never pass Congress. Order corporations to hire more people? The CEOs would tell him to go to hell. Withdraw all troops from Ira

It would be great if Hillary could find something useful to do until 2012. Obama certainly isn't letting her do anything of importance as Sec of State, and his foreign policy of apology and appeasement can hardly be her cup of tea. Having to support Obama's most recent arrogant insane decision to bring the 9/11 Terrorists to NYC for a massive circus that will allow them to spit on the graves of their murder victimes must be incredibly apalling to her!

Why would she? when in 2012 she would be replacing Joe Biden as Vice President?

There would be a bloodbath in both nations, ending in Shiite dictatorships in both.

Millions of Americans have very unrealistic expectations. What they are essentially saying is: "I want to have more money to spend, I don't want to pay ANY taxes, I want the world to be at peace, I want global warming to be fixed, I want terrorism to end, and I don't want anything in my life to change at all (except for the more money part), and I want it to all happen TOMORROW.

The problem with this democracy is the voters.

Now in 2012, if the unemployment rate is 7%, this guy will be saying that the Obama stimulus package had nothing to do with the improvement in the economy. He/She would be saying that the "free" economy repaired itself and that Obama had nothing to do with the recovery.

Also, let me suggest that "SocialismBad" cannot define socialism, has never read a book on the history of socialism or liberalism or conservatism or communism, and cannot point to a single proposal by any Administration official that is socialistic – except for Medicare, which is socialized insurance. So do all of you anti-socialists out there want to repeal medicare and let the "free market" take care of our elderly citizens?

I think Rudy Guiliani is a shoe in for NY governor. Hillary would probably consider it a demotion, even though it would be to her benefit to get Obama from around her neck.

Republicans running scared at the thought of Hillary running for governor of NY and need a formal confirmation that she's not because they know she'd win and they don't want to risk spending money.

we are very lucky to have Hillary in the possition as secretary of state .and infact the whole cabnet the the president has choosen is great , this administration has america in mind when doing the right stuff . and for the world . peace is the best for everyone and the sooner we get out of the war lord torn countries and just patrol the borders for weapons and drugs , the sooner everything will settle down .
the wars we are involved in are about a small group of radical womenising control freaks . they don't want women in there country to have equal rights .. hell it wasn't to long ago our great nation finnally let women vote .. so we are just a little ahead of them as for human rights .. :)

"...as a result of having these circus trials there again..."

Actually "circus" trial refers to something you usual find in totalitarian regimes. We have real trials because we believe in the rule of law. If you hate your country so much and have such contempt for the rule of law, why don't you move someplace more to your liking, like China, Russia or Saudi Arabia.

There was also no truth to her stating she would not run as President until her term as NY senator was over. Why doesn't that surprise me? Another politician that has no idea what the "truth" is. Of course, her husband didn't even know what the meaning of "is" is. I guess people of a like mentality find each other.
