OFA fundraising off Palin book tour

OFA fundraising off Palin book tour.
OFA fundraising off Palin book tour.

Washington (CNN) - The Democratic Party's fundraising off of Sarah Palin's "dangerous" book tour.

"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn," wrote Organizing for America director Mitch Stewart in a message sent to supporters Friday.

"It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term 'Death Panels' - and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists. Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

The group, the president's political arm at the Democratic National Committee, set a goal of raising $500,000 over the next week "to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies." OFA said the contributions will be used to respond to those attacks via ads, events, and phone banking congressional offices.

That's a dumb idea, it lends credibility to this psychologically-troubled women.

Let her rave so that all may see that she is unhinged. People will donate for that reason alone.

I just don't understand this fascination with this "EXTREMELY AVERAGE " woman!! Is the Republican party at such a deficit that Ms. Palin is the best they have to offer?? I hope not. This is nothing personal but she is a quitter, whiner, and a liar. The fact that she always seems to blame SOMEONE ELSE for all her shortcomings SHOWS SHE IS NOT LEADERSHIP MATERIAL!!!
It's really amazing that there are people who believe her. I really just wish some other intellgent, attractive, pro-life, woman would come to the forefront. Sarah Palin is a waste of our time and will never be more than what she currently is....ALL MOUTH...NO ACTION.

It's about time someone does something to stop this pathetic self serving woman......

Healthcare Reform is a serious matter, it shouldn't be used as a tactic by people like Sarah Palin, at the sametime you want to be careful not to Legitamize this very polarizing person....

I'm sure John McCain is seeing a NIGHTMARE unfold right before his eyes, but the thing is, he'll NEVER admit to giving birth and a platform to this dispicable person that has become Sarah Palin.....

It seems this pathetic woman has a growing un-educated shallow minded following, just look at the people waiting to greet her in Michigan, all white, and I'm sure mostly un-employed.........

Shame on any serious public figure that plays into Sarahs hand, and gives her a platform.....(Oprah Winfrey to name a few)....!

Don't worry, she'll go the way of Blagojevich if everybody would just ignore her. What happened to him after being splattered all of the papers, talk shows, rag mags, news reports, web sites, book deals, reality shows, governorship, aerial stunts, Mad Magazine...oh, sorry, that was Alfred E. Newman.

If the media and the political parties would look for ways to solve the health care crisis then Sarah Palin would be irrelevant. She holds no political office and is not in Congress.

If the Republicans and Joe Lieberman would give up their health care or pay more to help reduce costs to Americans I might have some interest in what they say. The portion paid by the "employer" comes from our taxes. Funny they don't talk about that.

As long as those who could most afford insurance abuse the system the rest of us will pay. Sooner or later all costs are passed on to the consumer.

If you use the hospital emergency room for care because you do not have health insurance, others eventually pay for that as well. By having a program that everyone can buy into we will save money in the end. I have a hard time understanding why folks who are only making minimum wage should be denied the right to health care. Those of us on medicare have a public option. We are at the mercy of the health care providers for health care and prescriptions. Wellness care is not a part of medicare.

Perhaps Sarah and her friends can answer that question.

By the way, I went to Walmart just to have a look and didn't take long to figure that book out. All about her and her lies, not about policy whatsoever.

CNN is promoting Sarah Palin and her book rather than fact checking its accuracy (latest revelationfrom experts involved ijn the 1989 Valdez disaster have stated that she distorted her role in the aftermath of the disater) and failing to do an objective analysis of the policies she is pushing for.

Oh, for the days when NEWS was News instead of a bunch of overpaid talking heads whose total concern is the next election!

Now everyone, make sure none of your comments reflect poorly on Obama or CNN will be sure to shut them down right away. Rip away on Palin though and they let it go on forever.

CNN like most of the media is a joke and can't stop kissing Obama's butt. How sad, then again they must need government assistance and realize they need Obama on their side in order to get it.

Obama, the democrats, the OFA or anything else left winged days are numbered. They're driving this country into the ground and please stop blaming it on the last administration...it's been a year already. Where's the change?

I cannot believe this idiot is revelant, she is a nobody, she knows nothing, sheis a quitter and not to mention a big liar. Its not Sarah Palin whom smart people fear...

Its her followers, who believe her blind ignorance and arrogance.
Its true the majority of society are pretty unintelligent,
and this woman panders to that denominator,
reinforcing their belief that its okay to have lower standards of thought, and use divisiveness, slander, and lies to push a point.

Truth is, she could be saying the same things about anyone.. Dem or Republican, and I'd still feel the same way.

At what point did we start rewarding ignorance, and start bashing intelligence?

Wake up America... Obama is NOT the enemy... try following the money trail one of these days, and you might not like what you find.

    And this woman..
    sold out the Republican Party
    sold out Alaska

I don't think I've ever seen any person in life so into their own image as Sarah Palin.....

She gives the term EGOMANIAC a whole new meaning, talk about self serving....

It's as if, Sarah Palin picked John McCain as her running mate and not the other way around.......I'm sure John McCain is regreting picking her, I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the McCain household when Sarah Palin is being discussed....

This woman truly has turned into a NIGHTMARE.....She seems to be craving the attention at this point, personally I don't think she can ever live without the attention she's getting, I don't care how much money she makes......

In this case it appears the screaming adoring ZOMBIE like Robotic adoring fans are whats driving Sarah Palin, it's like a drug addiction for her......

What does she have on CNN? DId you somehow lose the meo that she is no longer governor of Alaska, even? Did you not hear that McCain and Palin lost the election a year ago? This woman is nothing.

Maybe if CNN didn't give her 20-gig of news coverage every week OFA wouldn't see the need to have such a campaign, but as long as CNN continues to be her personal stage and megaphone, I guess we're stuck with being bombarded for contributions to a campaign to counter her fairy-tale fiction version of history – written by a hired ghost writer.

Sarah Palin doesn't know when to shut up.

It seems the only person telling the truth about her is her ex-future son in law, Levi Johnson. Just about everything he ever said about the family has been shown to be true. That's probably why she hates him so much: He's honest, and that is a dirty word in her vocabulary.

It is unfortunate that the Democratic Party cannot ignore a private citizen because the media keeps giving her far too much attention.

It is also unfortunate that others with easy access to a media platform don't seem willing to simply start calling her a liar on a point-by-point basis and ask her to defend her assertions for once.

    Here – you missed these:

    Memo to CNN:

Election results just in. The new President of the United States is Barack Obama. He and senator Joe Biden defeated the Republican Ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin by a significant margin in both electoral and popular votes. Senator McCain will reutrn to his role as a U.S. Senator from the state of Arizona. Governor Palin will return to Alaska.

    Memo to CNN:

Sarah Palin, citing financial reasons and the distraction caused by numerous challenges to her ethical conduct as governor for less than half a term, has resigned and will become a private citizen of the least populated and most remote state of the United States of America.

    Memo to CNN:

Sarah Palin has accepted a contrat to have her name put on a book containing a creative version of her role in teh events leading up to the defeat of the Republican ticket in the 2008 Presidential Election. She will attend a series of book signings where she will add perhaps the only words she can claim as her own between the covers of the books for her fans in small towns across the nation, avoiding areas where her popularity is marginal.

    Does that help?

Once again CNN shows its biased reporting. How quick CNN is to report a quote talking about Sarah Palin simplified description of a Council of medical professionals (or panel) to discuss end of life (or death) options. Just because the Iieing liberals think the truth is dangerous to their villainous agenda, they have to attack middle America patriots like Sarah Palin because she has an audience. If the attacks were so false then why did they inevitably remove those references from the bill.
Unfortunately CNN is very un-journalistic for not pointing this out and this may be the most dangerous of it all.

  42. Terry from West Texas

Palin and others of her ilk seek to gain status, power and money by lying to those who trust them. There never was a "death panel" provision in any health bill in Congress. While she is not very smart, she has spent a lot of time in front of audiences. She knows when she has stumbled onto a phrase that her naive audiences respond to. She will keep beating that tub until it doesn't work any more. She does not think clearly enough to distinguish between what is true and what is good for Sarah Palin.

She has done a great disservice to our nation.

I see that Palin's book can be bought already for 75% off the list price. Hopefully this vindictive collection from Sarah's laundry list of complaints will fade as quickly as it started.
It is true that Palin invents 'half-truths', then those same inaccurate assessments are crowed repeatedly like some 'truth from on high' by all her right wing followers without thought, without question.
Palin has seen this, and has stepped up her quasi-rhetoric because she knows her followers will never question her, never question the real facts behind her tirades, and never question her real self centered motives.
Is she STILL wearing that red dress from the campaign last year? You know, the one the RNC bought her? Who is dressing her for the book tour?

Sarah Palin is irrelevant and will continue to be irrelevant. Her 15 mins has come and gone.

Can the media now please move on from covering this disaster of a woman? We are tired of reading/hearing about her. Only crazy people care that she has a book out. Shes like the Paris Hilton of politics.

Palin has no shot in hell in 2012 at being president. So stop giving her the spotlight. The world is ready to move on.

She has been putting down the president ever since she was chosen for VP and long as she is on this earth she will continue on with it every day. Some one somehow ought to stop this person she is dangerous to the country. And her being on the band wagon with fox news. She is the one responsible for geting this country in an uproar with the way she conducted her rallys and then she starts with the death panel and wont let up. She goes over to China and reads a speech putting down the usa and bashing the president. Her and her few followers think they will get her into the white house. And I suppose they all favor her VP pick, Glen Beck..

Nobody is afraid of braindead barbie. However, there's plenty to fear from the dominionist religious cult that she was indoctrinated into from childhood. None of us are "christian" enough for them, and they, led by believe they were chosen by God to usher in the end times in 2012. She and her cult NEED to be exposed at every opportunity, because they plan to make the Christian crusades look like a day at the beach.

Obama wrote a health care plan? When did he do that?

    Death panels....advisory panels....what's the difference?

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force just told women not to get mammograms until age 50 despite what most MD's, including the Mayo Clinic, recommend.

Then there was the ACOG coming out with new recommendations for women 21 years of age to get pap smears every other year. They are not a government appointed board like the USPSTF, but they can still influence the government to not cover these test.

If women want to get tested yearly I say better safe than sorry….I don’t want any board, government or otherwise calling the shots.

Is it just me or am I seeing the fear and panic in our Presidents eyes? I firmly believe that he has finally awakened to the fact that his borrowing and entitlement programs along with two wars have destroyed our economy. I am still amazed at the posts blaming Bush for the economy, yes he did his contribution but listening to Turbo Tim blame the economy on Bush yesterday almost made me puke! Where was Timmy boy working the past 8 years and what policies did he assist in enacting? This whole mess of derivatives meltdown in the housing market started with Greenspan in the Clinton years. People forget that there is a cause and effect for every economic policy enacted and sometimes those effects are felt well after an Administrations 8 years are up. Bottom line, wake up as we are all in this together, vote ALL of these bums out and put some people in office that have some leadership experience, common sense and above all some integrity! Please, anyone who supporets this person in un American? She is asking valid questions and the only way the Dems are answering is by attacking her and others who are asking the same questions. Answer the questions.

You want to put your faith in a massive government program when the goverment has never shown the ability to run anything without massive overruns, and fraud? You believe the CBO when it says this will not add to the deficit? When have they ever been right with their estimates before? How do add so many people to the system without increasing supply?

Wake up, people. We have a huge deficit caused in large part by Bush, but now being balooned by Obama. And now you want to add this to the mix? It doesn't add up. If you would stop blindly listening to the people feeding you this junk, you might see it for what it is. A massive entitlement program that we can't afford.

The sad thing is, it will probably pass. The reckonning comes next year for Congress. You Dems will suffer horribly at the polls and you'll have only yourselves to thank for turning Congress back over to the Republicans.

Polls show a majority of voters are opposed to Obamacare. Palin is in step with voters. Obama and Democrats are not.
Todays Gallup poll shows Obama's approval rating droping below 50% to 49%. There are 3 other major polls showing Obama's approval rating below 50%. That's 4 major polls with Obama below 50%. Obama and the Democrats are moving in the wrong direction according to voters. Palin is moving in the right direction. All the hate the liberal progressivs can muster for Palin won't change that. The United States is a center right, fisically responsible nation. Not a liberal progressive, out of control government spending nation. Whether or not Palin ever runs for president, she will be a stong leader for returning this nation to sound conservative policy and values.

I also hope she runs for President in 2012 becuase Obama will wipe the floor with her. Obama has more Charisma and style in is little pinky then she does in her whole body.

Palin is a senseless twit who gets off blowing up animals and shooting off her mouth! She is dangerous in the sense that people of this country actually believe in her crap and think she has any potential, I mean any potential at all of becoming the next president of this country. If that day should ever come, better run for your life!

"Dangerous" ? When are they (liberals) going to start burning books? I'll be honest, Sarah Palin annoys the crap out of me but when a group of people start calling a book "dangerous" – the message that sends is far more frightening than anything Sarah Palin has to say.

There are too many right wing extremist in this nation and miss alaska is leading them down a path of self destruction and I don't think they care who they take down with them.

There's some retard here in Texas who is flying his flag upside down because he is protesting the government. The very same government who gave him the right to freedom of speech. And for what? We eat, drink and sleep better than most of the people on this planet. Yet we have the nerve to feel victimized by an administration who is trying to bring us back from the depths of a recession.

Repubs are a disgrace to this nation for their constant hateful message which is driving us further into the hole we've been trying to climb out of. MLK jr, JFK, Lincoln and the people who signed the Constitution would be embarrassed and disappointed to see what this party is doing to us as Americans.

Sarah was right about the death panels. The new Obama government recommendations on prolonging and limiting mammograms is a glimpse of the new "health care" initiative. How far will you liberal Obama supporters go before it's too late. Time to bring back America's freedom and vote for anyone who is willing to stand against this regime we presently have.

Ohhh people calm down... OFA doesn't think Palin is dangerous. They are just trying to raise money and they know she is a polarizing figure and will get the base stired up. That's it plan and simple... fundraising politics.. nothing more nothing less... you people and most of the American public I hate to say it are just a bunch of pawns in there game... All politicians. the left, right middle... the media all of them manipulate the american public at their will and we fall for it again again and again... from Obama's "yes we can" to Glen Beck's 9/12 Tea Parties" and from Hannity on Fox news to Oberman on MSNBC it's all psychological manipulation. None of them are being honest or straight with the American public so long as their livelihood depends on poll numbers or how we vote... Wake up American... They are not serving us... They are serving themselves...

First off, these qualities whether they are true or not does not make someone qualified to be president or vice president.

I for one am a huge Palin fan! If she becomes the nominee for POTUS, we can enjoy another 4 years of Obama. In her interview with Sean Hannity she twice referred to Iran as Iraq. And did the "hard-hitting" interviewer Hannity say anyting about it? Gee what a surprise! She also said, at Hannity's urging, that the Democrats were responsible for the "frivilous" ethics charges against her. The FACT is that many of the charges were brought by Republicans. How can Fox get away with that? By the way when I hear the title "Hannity's America" it makes my skin crawl. What's next "Hitler's Jerusalem?"

This article does not tell me much about anything new. Politicians attack each other as part of their job description. Their job is to blame each other when nothing of merit is getting done and it is to reject plans by the opposing side even if the plan is good.

I think our country needs a new plan. Perhaps one that isn't 50 years old. What we did 50 years ago that worked well will not work well now.

Someone I knew a while back said that the worst thing that was brought to this country with the europeans was the class structure.

So if our leaders want something constructive to do they can work on a new and realistic plan. They can also work on getting rid of our class structure.

It's truly sad that some people in this country are as easily led by someone who makes the most noise with little to no knowledge of the big picture of our country's ill's. In the case of Ms. Palin let her lack of offering other avenues that could be used to fix the economy speak for themselves. Never as an American did I believe there could be someone, porported to be a leader, with as little in the way of trust and confidence as she.
She truly surpasses anyone this country has ever sought after for possible political office. In addition she is an insult to all female's striving for an opportunity to serve this nation.

Terrorism, a policy or act intended to intimidate or cause terror, usually for the furtherance of ideological goals (from wikipedia)

The approach which palin bases her intire life goals and achievements sound very similar to wikipedia's definition:

State-sponsored terrorism, terrorism sponsored by nation-states

The scary thing isn't Sarah Paling per se, it is who the Republicans will put in charge of looking after her and actually dictating policy. If ANYONE really believes the likes of Newt Gingrich and the rest are going to let this nutcase run the country they are even more ridiculous than we think. Trust me if Sarah were to somehow magically get elected you'd find another worm like DICK Cheney behind the scenes wringing his hands and plotting the demise of some defenseless country. I mean let's face it the Republicans picked Iraq because they knew it wouldn't be a fight. If there was a chance they could have had a fight on their hands they would have run and hid just like GWB and Cheney both did from serving in the Armed forces. Republicans talk a big game but in the end they are cowards and bullies only showing up if they know someone else will do their fighting for them.

vjunior...you state "Palin has much more experience than Obama in the political arena"

Well, I am a long-time Alaskan and VERY familiar with Sarah's antics. She has almost "0" political experience and even less sense & education.

She was a mayor of a small (population 5000) town where she managed to increase debt in the budget, fire many people for no reason, and get her own home-building materials funded by the same contractor who got the contract for a sport center she wanted built. She left that position before she almost got recalled.

She was on the state's Oil & Gas Commission but quit before she got investigated on ethics complaints.

Her very short tenure as govenernor was a total failure. There is no natural gas pipeline; and if there ever will be it won't happen for 20 years. She's in bed with the oil industry.

People in our state were (are) going hungry and cold because Palin failed to acknowledge the problem.

After her vicious attacts and name calling during the vice-prez campaign she returned to a state who saw the real Palin and did not like it. All of the ethics complaints filed against her were based on sound reason. The ethics complaint investigation committee is appointed by the governor (dumb) and found cleared her.

She stepped down because she no longer had any support in this state. Most repubs were even turned off by her and no longer support her.

Most citizens are embarrassed by her behavior. She no longer speaks for Alaska & Alaskans! She is after something that is right now beyond her and will never be reached by her without extensive education, experience, and an open-minded attitude.

Someone who believes Africa is a country and that dinos roamed the earth in recent history is a total wack job.

Her middle-school attitute toward life demonstrates a 45-year-old woman who has never reached any level of maturity beyond 7th grade. When confronted with someone who does not share her opinion she goes into juvenile mode and begins name-calling and spiteful acts.

I hope her book does well and she is the nominee of GOP for 2012. That will unite all the dems and independents. The independents group do not like her. I can't wait for Palin to compete with Obama and it will be his real "Slam Dunk"!

I have to say that she gets 100% on her looks A++. If it is cosmatic, may not last until 2016. Then it will be a trouble to match the looks with qualifications. Oh, Boy!

I think people are giving Palin too much credit for writing the book when we all know she couldn't put anything like that together.
I hope she is nominated for president so we can have Obama in for another 4 years.
I have heard nothing but complaints from her about our economy and country but I have not heard one thing that she would do if she was the president.
I think news media is giving her too much play time. She needs to take her book money and move back to Alaska and take care of all those kids.
I bet John McCain is not happy that he even chose her for his running mate.

Sarah Palin is a perfect example of the axiom, "A Fool Uttereth All His Mind." Of course in this case, it's "her" mind but you get the drift. I am going to register as a Republican in 2011 so I can vote for Sarah in the primaries so I can watch her get the nomination and then witness Obama crushing her during the debates. That will be good times for sure!

LOL! Sarah Palin for President of these United States, then I will let my 7 year old grandson run. Atleast he knows the difference between his left and right. Sarah is so busy attacking Obama, but at the end of the day Obama is the President of these United States and he will be until 2012 and most likely will be elected again especially if the republicans are stupid enough to let Palin run. Now that would be funny. Sarah can't even run her own house, she didn't have enough mama sense to get her own daughter brith control. People all over the world celebrated with us as Obama was elected President. Will Sarah even be able to get Alaska to celebrate with her. They are probably so glad she is gone.

First off, Obama IS our worst nightmare.....he's leaving trillions in debt that we, nor our children or their children will ever get out of. His idea of correcting the problem is to print some more money....dumb and dumber!!! As for "a concerned citizen" posting; she must be a democrat; she wants "everything" to be given to her....get up off your ___ ___ ___ and work for it like every American is suppose to.....oh, I forgot; Obama has made it to where unemployment is at it's highest level in how many years? Yes, thank you O' great leader! What crap is that?

Sarah Palin is the only ONE brave enough to speak out and tell the United States just how bad our economy is and that we had better make changes and reform now; and no, not like Obama and the liberal Democrats want to do. They want to smother and drown us in more debt; that is a nightmare; just like Obama is.....

He speaks out of both sides of his mouth.....and lives another. He makes me sick.....I'm proud to be an American and a Republican...but I'm not proud that he's the President nor the people he has standing beside him as that goes to show that we are led by a bunch of dummies.....

Sarah,,,,,I wish you the best...write books, give talks, speak loud.....let your voice ring! You speak the truth!

really i don't understand why people htink "death panels" is so far-fetched. First off, in the UK, the beurocratic board equivalent have recently cut off payment for critical pain medication (along with other services), and our government is already recommending later mammogram and cervical cancer screenings. It is no secret that our system would move closer to that of the UK, especially with a cheaper public option that most businesses would have incentive to move towards. Now factor in that medicaid and medicare are in the hole, and how do you expect the government will run this system? Of course, they will look to cut costs, and that means rationing procedures and other care. It was recently exposed that the cervical cancer recommendation will cost 1 life in 1900 – it doesn't sound like that much to some poeple, but to me that sounds like a lot. If you work in a large company, that's may be several people you know (that you like :) )

Sarah Palin represents all that liberals are opposed to. They will do anything to her or anyone else to have their way. The only problem is a mere 20% of the voting populace call themselves liberal. 40% identify as conservative and 40% independent. I simply wanted to add to the discussion about the defition of rogue. Rogue has many definitions. Some examples include charlatan, good-for-nothing and hack.
A few others are headstrong, independent and strong-willed.
In the manner that Mrs. Palin was using the word 'rogue' I'm sure she meant it as independent. I'm also pretty sure that is what the McCain people meant when they charged that she was going 'rogue'. Like her or not, there is no cause for all the hatred.
GET OVER IT!! You aren't going to be able to get EVERYONE to agree with you. Just like she won't get everyone to agree with her, it is just not possible, at least, not in a civilized soceity.

Sarah Palin is right...there are death panels...BY insurance companies, FOR insurance companies.

Nataline Sarkisyan was a beautiful 17 year old California girl who died because of denial of care by her insurer. Her team of doctors at UCLA Medical Center deemed the procedure necessary to her survival and appealed the insurance company's refusal to approve treatment. Upon mass media intervention, as Nataline's story spread around the globe, the insurance company reversed its decision in the hours prior to her death.

That, my friends, is a Death Panel.

We're not. We're afraid of the lunatic-fringe that she is inciting to violence. All patriotic Americans should be afraid of that.

Can't say anymore than what has been said.
Cannot believe people will pay $29.00 for her book and wait in
line on top of it. The smart ones (if there are any) will buy it at
Walmart ($8.99) and the book will then show a loss. It should have never been printed in the first place.

Democrats getting wee weed up with Sarah Palin. They're all afraid of her, but the worst fear they're facing is from the American people especially from senior citizens and independent voters. 2010 & 2012 can't come soon enough. January 2010 according to CNN MONEY 1 million Americans will lose their UNEMPLOYMENT CHECK BENEFITS if Congress doesn't extend it. Where! Oh where Congress will get the money? Beijing told Obama to shape up!

Love her or hate her you can’t deny that her message is resonating and that she is taking Obama’s policies to task. Latest poll 47% of voters say they approve of the President's performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

This woman followers are truly pathetic, to hear these people in the forum talk about how much more experienced Sarah Palin is to be President over Barrack Obama.....

I think the majority of Americans really thought we as a nation had smarter people here, but after hearing Palins supporters, it's obvious we have a large portion of the population thats dumber than a box of rocks......

To their credit, I know their support for Palin is driven by Palins constant jealous criticism of our President...

Lets just be honest here, most of these people are driven by the Racial Hatred of having a Black President, and Palin vents their anger through her stupidity....

The same thing holds true with why Rush Limbaugh loves and adores Sarah Palin, it's Palins constant jealous criticism of Barrack Obama, same thing can be said as to why Sarah Palin loves Glenn Beck, any person thats intelligent can connect those dots.....!

Focusing on Sarah gets the focus off of Obama and his losing administration's destruction of our economy. Remember it's the economy stupid, so say goodbye to Barack, Harry, and Nancy (and alot of other Dems) as the unemployment numbers hit 12% and no one believes there it's Bush's fault excuses. You Dems are really scared of your own shadows! The party of no plans and high spending. You elected a dummy with no experience in anything spouting "change" with no idea of how to fund change. He gives us 1 trillion in debt for a stimulus bill that stimulated nothing, brought us no new jobs, and lined the pockets of the garbage in the house and the senate and the people they are beholding to. Oh, I forget, the dummy in the White House didn't even read it, by his own admission, but he signed it. The post office lost 3.5 billion dollars last year, social security will be bankrupt in less than 15 years, medicare is a farce, the veteran's administration is in shambles, you idiots want this dummy in the White House to take control of our health care, and all you can do is whine and call Sarah Palin names! You have hitched your wagon to a horse with no direction. Hopefully that will be rectified in 2010 when all those dimwits in the house and senate should be replaced by real Americans and not the frauds we have now. Meantime Sarah is ignoring you, your filth that you are spewing and living her life the way she sees fit. Deal with it.

Sarah Palin is not dangerous. Fascinating, yes. The fact that a little more than a fourth of the country thinks she is qualified to be president is far more dangerous for the Republicans. She put herself in front of the cameras for interviews and was never asked the hard questions. That's dangerous.

I'm an independent – you know the 5% in the middle who actully makes a difference in the vote. I listen to both sides. I listen to conservaitve and liberal talk radio. I like Obama as a person. But read these comments. They echo the style of the talk radio. Both sides ridicule the other. Liberals ridicule with jr high humor and appeal to emotion while conservatives try to argue with reason and facts (well some do). But liberals, as a rule I've got to say, you don't think logically. And conservatives, you tend to attack before you think. And niether side listens at all to the other.

Now, fortunately, they have a new outlet for venting so that their tiny heads don't explode–enter Sarah Palin, an accomplished governor, someone who believes in God, someone who loves America, and a conservative. What's not to hate?

The fact that anyone supports Palin makes her "dangerous". Democrats are not afraid of her, we are wary of her fear mongering and the people who believe it. She has already proven herself to be the political equivilent to Britney Spears. The true danger comes from her followers. I think Palin is walking a very dangerous line right now. Attacking our President and using whatever power she has to kill reform. The sad part is there are enough right wing nuts in this country that truly believe her. She is doing nothing but holding back and just helping to widen the rift between liberals and conservatives in this country in a time where we need to be coming together as a nation. not slandering each other and killing progress. personally she scares the living crap outta me. i think she is a nutcase.

The GOP is just going to sit back and use Palin, she is doing their work to rally the base however, those old gray haired men will not let her take any lead as they know she is inconsistent and unhinged.

She is fooling herself to think that with a few hundred people showing up at book signings here and there around the country that she will be the leader of the party.

The Republican party elders have seen what happened with the McCain campaign, they are not going to trust that she can actually steer the ship because as to use her words" only dead fish go with the flow"

If you had read this article it isn't all about Democrats; it is about Palin being dangerous to the point that she would try to deny millions health care but when you are making millions of dollars on a gotcha book and trying to destroy Obama she shows that she doesn't care about the people just her egotistical self. I have said it repeatedly research. Just because the Republicans have used multiple scare tactics doesn't take away the fact that we have people dying from lack of care but then the Republicans have been the party of NO since day one on this administration.

Can not wait until Sarah Palin wins the 2012 election.

It will be a great sight as Obama waits for her on the doorsteps of the WH to hand over the reins to a more qualified person.
