OFA fundraising off Palin book tour

Washington (CNN) - The Democratic Party's fundraising off of Sarah Palin's "dangerous" book tour.

"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn," wrote Organizing for America director Mitch Stewart in a message sent to supporters Friday.

"It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term 'Death Panels' - and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists. Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

The group, the president's political arm at the Democratic National Committee, set a goal of raising $500,000 over the next week "to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies." OFA said the contributions will be used to respond to those attacks via ads, events, and phone banking congressional offices.

    Bill Maher is right.

Ok the Dems want to go after her, but are we not paying attention. Just this week they have changed two major health issues for women. (Pap smeers and mammograms) Instead of paying attention to changing to this we go after Palin. Changing these things is like killing off women. IT IS the new heathcare. Is this what we want for ourselves or our daughters? Maybe the female Dems should pay attention too!!!

I love the title of her book, "GOING ROGUE."
Look up "rogue" in the dictionary and
the definition is "a dishonest person, a
tramp, a vagabond, an inferior organism."
    Apparently, she got something right!!!!!

Nobody is afraid of braindead barbie. However, there's plenty to fear from the dominionist religious cult that she was indoctrinated into from childhood. None of us are "christian" enough for them, and they, led by believe they were chosen by God to usher in the end times in 2012. She and her cult NEED to be exposed at every opportunity, because they plan to make the Christian crusades look like a day at the beach.

All those things they accuse the dems and "librul soshulusts" of wanting to accomplish against the "godly right" are projections because that's EXACTLY what THEY planned to enact on their "ungodly" opposition.

The only thing worse than Palin are her sad, uneducated and uninformed followers. Luckily – I think there are more of "us" than "them". They are just louder.

I find all this critisim interesting as everyone as one side always calls the other side a lier, un-American, and anyother lable to a person who opposes their particular view.

It's ethical dilemma. Can you imagine what kind of ethics we'd get with a "going rogue" candidate? So far, it seems people quoted in the book have stepped forward and said words, actions, conduct depicted in excerpts attributable to them are not true.

Ok my favorite of all these I'm reading hmmmmm let me see is it the ones where all the name calling is going on, like little children, or the person who thinks a man who gets a young girl pregnant and then poses for Play Girl for money and is anywhere anyone will pay him to bash the family, ok let me get this right, he is "HONEST" ok sorry let me get myself off the floor from laughing and finish reading some of these...oh no maybe I can't, I'm such an uneducated idiot, I can't be smart enough to think for myself or 'take care of myself" I need the government doing it for me...and should they also read the news and give me their spin, to help this poor dumb woman LM@O

I enjoy reading posts from people like this...their pathetic attempts at basic grammar and spelling (let alone coherent and structured thought) merely underscore how idiotic the drones on the Left are...thanks for pushing people away from your agenda by nourishing the basic instinct to disassociate from fools.

I thought Sarah didn't have any allies – according to the media.
You people are all so crazy – you are so afraid that she will actually draw some support. Good for her.

Obama wrote a health care plan? When did he do that?

    Death panels....advisory panels....what's the difference?

U.S. Preventive Services Task Force just told women not to get mammograms until age 50 despite what most MD's, including the Mayo Clinic, recommend.

Then there was the ACOG coming out with new recommendations for women 21 years of age to get pap smears every other year. They are not a government appointed board like the USPSTF, but they can still influence the government to not cover these test.

If women want to get tested yearly I say better safe than sorry….I don’t want any board, government or otherwise calling the shots.

CNN -Why not be a true news organization and detail the outrageous things the Alaskan Air Head has said. Instead of the continuous free publicity without any sense of responsibility.

Check out the video where Sarah left 300 people in the rain, without signing their books.
They were yelling at her bus. Priceless.

After seeing a picture of Palin's running mate HOLDING HANDS with a terrorist responsible for attacks in that same election year, I know she'll say anything. Regardless of the truth, regardless of blatant hypocrisy.

God save us from this evil woman and her insidious influence!

this is for simp which I assume stands for simple minded. let's do a comparison. Palin has much more experience than Obama in the political arena. As a matter of fact, nobody told Obama to stop campagning, the election is over. Guess he can't figure that one out for himself.

If Obama is the only thing the Democrats have to offer, teaming with Pelosi and Napolitano, we are TRULY in trouble.

Count your days of freedom simp. They are going to end soon. Then you'll with you had the GOP in charge with anyone heading it.

Dumb question: if comments about Sarah Palin being irrelevant are true, why do people continue to make comments about her?

Are your comments irrelevant? Or does she actually have some relevance after all that justify your well-thought out comments to begin with?

she is dangerous. She believes in racial profiling and does not know the difference between Iraq and Iran. Not only is she dangerous, but ignorant as well. Both instances are scary.

Judging by the comments CNN is posting on this thread, my post isn't going to make the cut. They're only allowing wingnut posts, with a few token Dem posts, but here goes...

None of us are "christian" enough for them, and they, led by believe they were chosen by God to usher in the end times in 2012. Maybe if we just ignore her....?

I don't hate her. In a perverse sort of way, I admire how far she's come. But I also admire spitting cobras, black mambas, and scorpions, so that is certainly not an endorsement of her extremist views, warped insights, and out-and-out lies.
