OFA fundraising off Palin book tour

Washington (CNN) - The Democratic Party's fundraising off of Sarah Palin's "dangerous" book tour.

"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn," wrote Organizing for America director Mitch Stewart in a message sent to supporters Friday.

"It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term 'Death Panels' - and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists. Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

The group, the president's political arm at the Democratic National Committee, set a goal of raising $500,000 over the next week "to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies." OFA said the contributions will be used to respond to those attacks via ads, events, and phone banking congressional offices.

The liberals are going nuts because there are so many people that love her down-to-earth attitude, common sense, and excellent personality.
First off, these qualities whether they are true or not does not make someone qualified to be president or vice president.

Secondly, Palin is the best thing to happen to the dems. That's why they keep talking about her. The Independents hate her. All she does is drive up the GOP negatives.

I love OFA. Her book is a dud. She didn't even write it.
you know i heard the same thing about obama and his second book. i heard that when comparing writings from bill ayers, it appears that it was he who actually wrote the second book.

Sarah is a trainwreck on the move. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less than her bad mouthing Obama, lying, attacking the "elite" media with their tough questions, and anyone who doesn't belive in her silly values. She's corrupt and fake, and overall a dummy.

The lady does not hold a public office and is just promoting her own book and yet the DIMWITS of the RAT Party still have an unnatural fascination of her. Sounds like the RAT Party members are trying to deflect the fact that they have not done anything since
    controlling all of Congress.

I for one am a huge Palin fan! If she becomes the nominee for POTUS, we can enjoy another 4 years of Obama. In her interview with Sean Hannity she twice referred to Iran as Iraq. And did the "hard-hitting" interviewer Hannity say anyting about it? Gee what a surprise! She also said, at Hannity's urging, that the Democrats were responsible for the "frivilous" ethics charges against her. The FACT is that many of the charges were brought by Republicans. How can Fox get away with that? By the way when I hear the title "Hannity's America" it makes my skin crawl. What's next "Hitler's Jerusalem?"

So, vjunior says the Repubs will soon be in charge and our days of freedom will be over. I am glad to see one Repub actually confess that they aren't interested in freedom, they are only interested in being in charge.

This guy is desperate. Democrats are on the run. Obama party is over. He was not to be in the White House. It was the biggest mistake of our lifetime. Never again. We do not need such change. We need straight people like Sarah Palin. We wishe her all the best.

This article does not tell me much about anything new. Politicians attack each other as part of their job description. Their job is to blame each other when nothing of merit is getting done and it is to reject plans by the opposing side even if the plan is good.

I think our country needs a new plan. Perhaps one that isn't 50 years old. What we did 50 years ago that worked well will not work well now.

Someone I knew a while back said that the worst thing that was brought to this country with the europeans was the class structure.

So if our leaders want something constructive to do they can work on a new and realistic plan. They can also work on getting rid of our class structure.

It's truly sad that some people in this country are as easily led by someone who makes the most noise with little to no knowledge of the big picture of our country's ill's. In the case of Ms. Palin let her lack of offering other avenues that could be used to fix the economy speak for themselves. Never as an American did I believe there could be someone, porported to be a leader, with as little in the way of trust and confidence as she.
She truly surpasses anyone this country has ever sought after for possible political office. In addition she is an insult to all female's striving for an opportunity to serve this nation.

Geeezz.....the Liberal Left sure is spending lots of $$$$ fighting someone who is a lame brained dufus who they say can't tie her own shoelaces, and just think, she isn't running for anything, doesn't hold a Public Office either??? (Now, you do see why she resigned from Govenor of Alaska......she could not be giving Libs the headaches she is now giving.)
I am so excited that Sarah Plain will be President in 2012! She scares the h_ _ _ out of Libs! Go Sarah Go!!!!

I agree with the writer "Rogue". Sarah Palin finally exposed herself.

a deceitful and unreliable scoundrel, an unscrupulous or dishonest person, especially somebody who is also likable

to all those who are smugly rolling their eyes when Palin speaks, remember, we "misunderestimated" a "less-informed" candidate once before, and the media loved him almost as much as it loves Palin. She has the media behind her. Demand an independent newsource. Free the media. Demand the truth with no spin (for real). Watch carefully or there will be he(( to pay.

And people wonder why Jefferson, Hamilton and other founders of this nation wanted to reserve voting rights ONLY for the "landed gentry?" Because they KNEW the masses were uneducated rubes who couldn't be trusted to vote intelligently. And after seeing the comments of the Palin supporters here, I'm starting to see what they saw.

I read through a lot of comments and saw mainly personal attacks but still did not see what it is that Mrs. Palin is saying that everyone disagrees with. Personal attacks may help vent your frustration but usually reveal more about your own character than it does persuade anyone to agree with your point of view. Are we incapable of rational discourse with people we don't agree with?

Terrorism, a policy or act intended to intimidate or cause terror, usually for the furtherance of ideological goals (from wikipedia)

The approach which palin bases her intire life goals and achievements sound very similar to wikipedia's definition:

    Alaska under her foot-
State-sponsored terrorism, terrorism sponsored by nation-states

Dont mean to confuse anyone but dosnet she try to overthrough everything by pointing a finger and saying "HEY!!" "LOOK AT THAT BIG DISTRACTING THING!"

And she gains supporters!!! How rich do I have to be to like this person?

After reading some of the libs posts on this page I must remind them...the media tried to do the same thing to Ronald Reagan...and they so failed and Reagan, who alot like Sarah was an optimistic happy conserative....don't underestimate this very tough woman..she is NOT typical She is a driving force and no matter what she decides to do she has the conseratives stirred up and excited about 2010 when the Republicans take over the congress by a landslide.....I can't wait..........
Obama and his left winger's communists are destroying this country...but they are not destroying the will of the American people....we are the people and we are TEAED off..........................

If Sarah Palin wasn't a threat to the Democraps then they wouldn't have their panties on a wad. Sarah Palin's book is worth reading. Once I began reading it I couldn't put it down. And I'm not the type of person to sit in one place too long. There is a lot of truth behind what she says in the book. After reading it I certainly understand why the dems are running scared.

Palin is a bimbo with charisma. People who don't have a life and have zero intellegence love her. That is "her following". This country is full of brainwashed idiots that believe anything the Repukes spit out. Very sad.
