OFA fundraising off Palin book tour

Washington (CNN) - The Democratic Party's fundraising off of Sarah Palin's "dangerous" book tour.

"Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn," wrote Organizing for America director Mitch Stewart in a message sent to supporters Friday.

"It's dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term 'Death Panels' - and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists. Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.

The group, the president's political arm at the Democratic National Committee, set a goal of raising $500,000 over the next week "to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies." OFA said the contributions will be used to respond to those attacks via ads, events, and phone banking congressional offices.

I hope her book does well and she is the nominee of GOP for 2012. That will unite all the dems and independents. The independents group do not like her. I can't wait for Palin to compete with Obama and it will be his real "Slam Dunk"!

I have to say that she gets 100% on her looks A++. If it is cosmatic, may not last until 2016. Then it will be a trouble to match the looks with qualifications. Oh, Boy!

I think people are giving Palin too much credit for writing the book when we all know she couldn't put anything like that together.
I hope she is nominated for president so we can have Obama in for another 4 years.
I have heard nothing but complaints from her about our economy and country but I have not heard one thing that she would do if she was the president.
I think news media is giving her too much play time. She needs to take her book money and move back to Alaska and take care of all those kids.
I bet John McCain is not happy that he even chose her for his running mate.

Sarah Palin will become America's greatest POTUS of all times and this book tour will inevitably lead her to the white house. Palin is truly the real messiah and savior as well as God's Chosen and Anointed One!

the only truth in the Palin book is the title

    Main Entry: 1rogue
    Pronunciation: \ˈrōg\
    Function: noun
    Etymology: origin unknown
    Date: 1561
    1 : vagrant, tramp
    2 : a dishonest or worthless person : scoundrel
    3 : a mischievous person : scamp
4 : a horse inclined to shirk or misbehave
5 : an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation

    urban dictionary
    Go Rogue

to cease to follow orders; to act on one's own, usually against expectation or instruction. To pursue one's own interests.

pretending to be something you're not, lying or acting in order to deceive others

to those that decry the "libs" and the palin attacks.. from what i see most of this is coming from the "liberal" McCain side and staff

It is amazing how obsessed the dumbocrats are with Palin. The dumbs are scared to death of an ex governor of a small state! The dumbocrats are also scared to death for women to find out the truth of who is for them and who is against them. A successful conservative woman scares them to death! It is hilarious and I love it!!

Sarah Palin is a perfect example of the axiom, "A Fool Uttereth All His Mind." Of course in this case, it's "her" mind but you get the drift. I am going to register as a Republican in 2011 so I can vote for Sarah in the primaries so I can watch her get the nomination and then witness Obama crushing her during the debates. That will be good times for sure!

LOL! Sarah Palin for President of these United States, then I will let my 7 year old grandson run. Atleast he knows the difference between his left and right. Sarah is so busy attacking Obama, but at the end of the day Obama is the President of these United States and he will be until 2012 and most likely will be elected again especially if the republicans are stupid enough to let Palin run. Now that would be funny. Sarah can't even run her own house, she didn't have enough mama sense to get her own daughter brith control. People all over the world celebrated with us as Obama was elected President. Will Sarah even be able to get Alaska to celebrate with her. They are probably so glad she is gone.

First off, Obama IS our worst nightmare.....he's leaving trillions in debt that we, nor our children or their children will ever get out of. His idea of correcting the problem is to print some more money....dumb and dumber!!! As for "a concerned citizen" posting; she must be a democrat; she wants "everything" to be given to her....get up off your ___ ___ ___ and work for it like every American is suppose to.....oh, I forgot; Obama has made it to where unemployment is at it's highest level in how many years? Yes, thank you O' great leader! What crap is that?

Sarah Palin is the only ONE brave enough to speak out and tell the United States just how bad our economy is and that we had better make changes and reform now; and no, not like Obama and the liberal Democrats want to do. They want to smother and drown us in more debt; that is a nightmare; just like Obama is.....

He speaks out of both sides of his mouth.....and lives another. He makes me sick.....I'm proud to be an American and a Republican...but I'm not proud that he's the President nor the people he has standing beside him as that goes to show that we are led by a bunch of dummies.....

Sarah,,,,,I wish you the best...write books, give talks, speak loud.....let your voice ring! You speak the truth!

Honestly I don't really see her as a President, but then again, the bar has never been even close to being as low as it is now w/ this joke of an administration we have. The only thing this current administration can do better than anyone else is run up debt for our great great Grandchildren 100 years from now.

  14. Special interest and partisan extremist

Mitch Stewart is full of it! Sarah Palin isn't campaigning, nor is she saying any more or less than many of us "partisan extremists" are saying. Because those of other opinions speak out, idiots like Stewart begin labeling them with his names. The democrats are in control in congress, and look at the performance ratings. Whale dung! Look at the White House and those on Obama's team, many including within their own party are calling for their heads after only one year! Get used to it Mitch Stewart because for the next 3 years the voices will get even louder.

really i don't understand why people htink "death panels" is so far-fetched. First off, in the UK, the beurocratic board equivalent have recently cut off payment for critical pain medication (along with other services), and our government is already recommending later mammogram and cervical cancer screenings. It is no secret that our system would move closer to that of the UK, especially with a cheaper public option that most businesses would have incentive to move towards. Now factor in that medicaid and medicare are in the hole, and how do you expect the government will run this system? Of course, they will look to cut costs, and that means rationing procedures and other care. It was recently exposed that the cervical cancer recommendation will cost 1 life in 1900 – it doesn't sound like that much to some poeple, but to me that sounds like a lot. If you work in a large company, that's may be several people you know (that you like :) )

Sarah Palin and her followers (here: what they think they stand for) are both good examples of why the USA has such a low ranking on the international education tests (OCED's PISA for example) and why education needs improvement in the USA. Nothing personal. I wish her well, but she should stay out anything that requires intellect or wisdom.

Get a life and leave the woman alone. What are you afraid of? You say death panels don't exist but what would you call the panel that recommended that woman ages 40 to 49 not worry about getting mamographies or regular cervical cancer examinations. These same people who are not even qualified to be providing a recommendations based upon their backgrounds only care about on thing, saving money to pay for their public option! This is what is outragious, not Sara Palin!

Whew. Was getting worried there would be no Palin stories today. Oh speaking of Palin, CNN probably won't report this, CNBC has an article about that Newsweek picture, and how it was a breach of contract for them to sell it to Newsweek. OF course that isn't ticker worthy like all the other 1.5million Palin stories they put up here.

No one is scared of Sarah Palin, the symbol of GOP talking points with no concept of how to actually solve any problems. Put her in any kind of debate and she will get annihilated. The only thing that scares the Democrats and everyone else are right-wing extremists who seem hell bent on making dancing and interracial marriage illegal. When the going gets tough, Sarah Palin quits and goes on a book tour. Please Levi, tell us all the evidence that you have that will end this once and for all.

what a joke. now Palin is considered dangerous to health care reform? the same Palin that claimed that living sort of near Russia counts as a qualification for public office? she's a joke, and most Americans can see that. I think health care reform is gonna be safe.
