Sarah Palin weighed in on the health care debate Friday night.
Sarah Palin weighed in on the health care debate Friday night.

WASHINGTON (CNN)– Revisiting some of her campaign trail talking points, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin weighed in on the Senate health care vote, criticizing the Democrats and Majority Leader Harry Reid for a lack of transparency.

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is pushing for yet another weekend vote (commonplace now for the party of "transparency") because he knows that the American people will be none too happy about the Democrats' proposal the longer they have to look it over," Palin wrote late Friday night in a posting on her Facebook page.

Republicans, who have expressed opposition to the Democrats' bill from the beginning, have threatened to read the full 2,074 page bill during Senate debate, claiming the more Americans hear about what is in the bill, the less they will like it.

Palin went on to talk about features in the bill: government spending, abortion, and help for special needs children.

"While this Saturday night vote might seem like a procedural matter, at the end of the day a vote against Senator Reid's motion is a vote against massive new government spending and a take-over of 1/6th of the U.S. economy; it's a vote against billions in tax increases and penalties; it's a vote against federal funding of abortion; and it's a vote against ignoring responsible tort reform," Palin wrote. "Among the provisions in this bill will be a $2,500 cap on Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). The IRS allows families with special needs children to use FSAs to cover educational expenses. This new $2,500 cap will hit these families especially hard and cost them hundreds of dollars in new taxes every year."

Palin concluded by encouraging Americans to voice their opposition to their senators before the vote.
"The American people don't support this – we support the commonsense solutions that have been proposed, but totally ignored by (at this point) some out-of-control Washington politicians. Let's put a stop to Obamacare before it goes any further," she wrote.

Who cares what Sarah thinks? She can't even stick with a book signing. I hope she is Obama's opponent in 2012. She can even read her concession speach this time!

weequahic68   November 21st, 2009 4:00 pm ET

If Palin actually had credibility, this might mean something...........

punx   November 21st, 2009 4:00 pm ET

... because preventing democratic debate is bad for all Americans.

Aspen Professor   November 21st, 2009 3:59 pm ET

Ah yes, Palin once again states that Americans do not support the health care bill. What a convenient lie!

Isn't it odd that the Repubs, supported by fewer than 40% of Americans, continue to claim their "majority". The lies and hypocrisy continue from the right -wing extremists. Their philosophy is a simple one. Lie often and loudly enough and make it sound like a majority.

Real American   November 21st, 2009 3:58 pm ET

I cant' understand how someone who has no plan or ideas of their own can criticize those of others. Can someone please help me understand this? The GOP had more than enough time in control to come up with a healthcare plan and they didn't,now they want us to believe that they are against this plan for our own good? No thanks i'm not buyin' what the GOP is selling. Not only that but they would be more credible if they didn't disagree with EVERYTHING the PRESIDENT is proposing.

Emiro Burbano   November 21st, 2009 3:58 pm ET

Keep going Sarah Palin.
They (opposition to capitalism and USA) know you represent something right.

Common sense.

Ms. Palin. Look at me. Watch my mouth. We don't care what you think or say. Go home.

Sarah's book is GREAT   November 21st, 2009 3:57 pm ET

Clearly none of you loons has read it. You wouldn't dare - it might open up a tiny little window in your bigoted pea-brain! You prefer spouting the other stuff from the other end - how "impressive" you are!

Failin Palin doesn't have enough to keep busy... obviously. Facebook, Twitter, Slamming Senate Vote...Who looks after this woman's kids?

Sarah Palin – what would you do with your family if your medical insurance were canceled ?

J LAKE   November 21st, 2009 3:56 pm ET

If Palin can criticize, then she better be able to "DO".

No use grumbling, if you can't do any better.

Zac   November 21st, 2009 3:55 pm ET

Can somebody shut her up already? She's an ignorant dumb dumb who offers no solutions. SHUT UP ALREADY!!!! Go focus on your book tour....oh wait you're screwing that up too!!!

please cnn like so many post here stop covering her or at least keep it to as little as possible.

KATHLEEN   November 21st, 2009 3:54 pm ET

This woman is the epitomy of "stupidity". Evidently "Sarah" has never
had a problem with health care provided "freely" for her whole family1

Sarah, and her followers do not know what they are doing by driving
the middle class further in the hole.

My family always had health care and Never had anything to worry about because we are all hard, hard workers. So I thought we had
nothing to worry about!!!! Thanks to the Democrats who pointed it all out. How the Health Care companies "run" our nation with their GREED! And how we only "thought" we were "covered" by health care
UNLESS we get sick and our employer fires us because we have
"an illness"!

AND those people standing in line for her books, "Father, forgive,
them, for they know not what they are doing!!!!""""""""

And the "evangelical" PRAY FOR OBAMA" stickers. The meaning behind them is SICK!!!!! and "chock full of trickery to the Americans!!
I bet "SARAH" loves the sticker! Does she have one on her care yet!!!!!

WE BETTER GET A PUBLIC OPTION OR OUR KIDS AND OURSELVES ARE SUNK-or, for a better term, ROYALLY SKREWED!

An ideal dissertation for a Psychiatrist or psychoanalyst Doctoral candidate would be to analyze, dissect and evaluate WHY Sarah Palin breeds so much HATE as evidence in all the comments above and below this one. Look at the incredible emotional reaction she creates and how she brings out the WORST in human behavior. The conservatives love her and the liberals hate her and BOTH will tell you in this blog topic THEY are right. What I never understood is that in particular the LEFT was the jury, judge and electioneer BEFORE they even knew anything about her. Then before she even spoke it became a free for all to see which reporter , which network, which comedy sitcom would embarrass he the most. SO, contrary to what venom people like HERE in this forum spread about her and her being inept or incompetent, THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW. Because it is NOT about any of that. Which is why it would be a great case study for Psychiatrist or psychoanalyst . And, maybe reveal the “dark” side of human behavior. Maybe based on fear , ignorance, or even deeper personal challenges or anxieties.

I mean just look at the ratio of comments allowed by CNN’s blog approvers, about 90 to 1 (Negative vs positive). Most likely they won’t post this because it is not damming against Palin, who they seem to ALSO be afraid of. (just listen to Anderson Cooper on any given night)

But, one thing is for sure, she is a polarizing figure that draws and intense hate and love form opposite sides of the aisle. Don’t believe me ? Just attend one of her public appearances. She draws Barack Obama size crowd and she NOT even a politician. Ok, all you left-wing hate squad, let your venom flow….

Chip Pudims   November 21st, 2009 3:53 pm ET

Congress is living up to the transparency promise, only what we are seeing is how the process really works through coercin by tactics such as threats and bribes. It may sound contradictory, but what's transparent is the lack of transparency.

carole   November 21st, 2009 3:53 pm ET

I find it difficult to understand WHY CNN is giving so much print and
air time to news about Sarah Palin? I don't know why you are not
giving similar amounts of time to others who are pro health care
reform. You recently reported that the majority of people in this country do not feel she is qualified for President. Given the fact that she didn't finish out her term as governor of Alaska, that many untruths
have been found in her book, that she is comfortable demagoguing
"death panels", etc. I find it incomprehensible. It's tantamount to
dishing every opinion of Rush Limbaugh. If she is not seen as
"qualified" by so many, why do your give her free exposire???

john   November 21st, 2009 3:53 pm ET

Retire peacefully, Palline

Fuzzbee in LA   November 21st, 2009 3:52 pm ET

Yeah, let's do nothing on health care. Great idea, Sarah! Why don't we reroute the money that would be spent on uninsured Americans and use it to sponsor new ways of slaughtering defenseless animals instead?

Perhaps we could use some of that loot to arm some of our more maverick-y citizens with automatic weapons, drill for oil in Yellowstone and other national parks and buy you a few thousand more power suits? After all, we know you sweat an awful lot and it takes a heap o' money to keep that helmet of hair and trough of makeup in place.

Who needs health care, anyway? Your brilliant ideas are a beacon that will lead us into an enormous pit of moose dung and mascara!

george   November 21st, 2009 3:48 pm ET

Please, please, PLEASE Republican party, run Sarah as your candidate!! It's the best move you could possibly make for our country. She can represent everything Republicans stand for, talk eloquently and passionately about issues, give in depth interviews to Katie about what she reads now that she quit the people of Alaska, and in general be the voice of all those conservatives who just want to keep things the way they are. She is best person out there, and with her running, Democrats can just focus on making this country stronger, healthier, richer, and continue to undo the Bush legacy. Democrats- quit worrying about Sarah Who. Don't you see that her representing the Republican side is the best thing that can happen for this country?? No worries.

cora   November 21st, 2009 3:48 pm ET

Palin was in the bus and couldn't hear the people out side the bus, why was she running from the cold and rain, they stood out there to see her and get there books signed, Once again she's ran away.

chris   November 21st, 2009 3:48 pm ET

She's ridiculous! A majority of Americans support this. Lies, lies and more lies from the rebubs.

Robert   November 21st, 2009 3:48 pm ET

Oh please... ENOUGH of this woman already. If she is complaining that the Democrats are voting for healthcare then they must be doing something right...

This woman does not have the support of but 25% of the Republican party. Not the nation, only their party. Please stop covering her like she has the support of 75% of all Americans.

Chris in California   November 21st, 2009 3:48 pm ET

CNN, please? No more Palin.

Hector from Canada   November 21st, 2009 3:47 pm ET

I believe that the press does not have much to inform. That is the reason they are having fun with this lady that is looking to be in the newspapers. Anyway, she says whatever comes to her mouth and mind because everything comes to her mouth first, and after that to her mind. She doesn't connect her brain to what she says. The problem is not this woman, is the press that is having lots of fun writing everything she says because they know that there are others that think, the way she thinks. I hope the American people do not buy the ignorance of this person.

hollywood ricky pt.2   November 21st, 2009 3:46 pm ET

i wish that this woman would go back noth to alaska ...... "and sit her tail down". now i can see how her daughter got pregnated. where was the mother? she should of been at home teaching them family values.... and she wouldn't be a grandmother so soon. palin is so fake.....

Crazy Harry   November 21st, 2009 3:46 pm ET

Do we really care what this hypocritical nutcase has to say?

The hypocritical nutcases do.

Hinkler   November 21st, 2009 3:45 pm ET

Not that I am a fan of running legistlation through the system without being fully reviewed, but if the opposition of a bill is just going to scream, THIS IS TERRIBLE!!! without offering a compromise, I have no sympathy for them. Dems want a 2500 cap on FSA, Repubs say THIS IS GOING TO HURT SPECIAL NEEDS PARENTS!!!!. Fine, then what is an appropriate number? Both sides say the other is wrong, but imo, if you have a differing view on something, present a different solution WITH DETAILS. Repubs seem to have several sticking points....tort reform, abortion funding, who is eligible.....all of these sticking points are also views of the constituents. You were elected by the people to serve as a represenitive for your state. So that means that if you must vote on something you don't really believe in or you may know is wrong, you best talk to your constituents and get them behind you. You were not elected by the DNC or RNC.

Hush   November 21st, 2009 3:45 pm ET

Folks, get your news somewhere else, CNN is sucking in the green over your backs, it's called free market journalism. Open your eyes and recognize what is happening, take back your sovereignty.

Galen   November 21st, 2009 3:45 pm ET

Didn't she resign her governership so she could write and promote her book?!?!? How much notice did she give to Alaskans? Why is her opinion newsworthy? Is it really even possible that she would think she could run for president? She bailed on her state, does not know any US policy, has been mired in ethics scandals, and is proud to state that her personal religious views dictate her political stance! She is an icky person even for politicians.

PK California   November 21st, 2009 3:45 pm ET

On what authority does she have a say in what the Congress does or does not do? She has an opinion, like all Americans' have, but to give her the publicity she craves, is just feeding her dilusional ego! She is a has-been in everything she has doe and just happens to be selling a comic book.

Tony in Maine   November 21st, 2009 3:45 pm ET

Sarah the Omniscient knows "what the American people want." Every Republican politician always "knows what the American people want."

Where they blow it is in confusing their corporate masters or the religious right with the American people.

Janalee   November 21st, 2009 3:44 pm ET

For all you left-wing nuts that don't think Sarah should be voicing her opinion, I've got news for you. This is still America, a free country remember? Its you liberals that want to limit free speech when someone doesn't agree with you. If you don't like what she has to say, don't listen/read. You don't have to be a politician to say what you think. Isn't that what facebook and other venues allow us to do? Or do you want to shut down facebook too? Sarah has all you liberals on the run and you don't know what to do about it. If she is so insignificant why is all of America listening to her? You must be shaking in your boots, ....oh, wait, no, maybe its that chill you got up your leg like chris matthews did when obozo spoke. Sarah is NOT going away, deal with it! GO SARAH!!!

Gary Bebout   November 21st, 2009 3:44 pm ET

I agree with Martha Stewart. Sarah Palin is dangerous. When will she go away.

Death panels etc–except for a fringe group we all know the group that controls health care in this country is the 'HEALTH" insurance companies. They follow (no, lead) the usual watchword of American busines greed. Ii's really so sad..

moonbeam   November 21st, 2009 3:41 pm ET

Every day and sometimes more often, this woman comes out with another moronic, untrue or simply outrageous statement, and the media rushes to give her full attention. Isn't there any kind of restraint still existing in journalism? Certainly those in power at our media outlets must understand that anything she says will be taken as gospel truth by those poor unfortunates on the right who are still glassy-eyed from the Pain kool-aid they've been consuming daily. Have some pity: Stop aiding and abetting her in her effort to muddle the minds of the few GOP who are still capable of independent thought. The media gives her more time and print space than our president gets. Shameful!

Stu   November 21st, 2009 3:41 pm ET

Democrats = party of taxes and welfare. Democracies die when they discover they can vote themselves "free" money. People wake up. The pool of folks who actually pay income taxes is rapidly shrinking and the pool of welfare and entitlement junkies, who refuse to get a job and do for themselves, is rapidly growing. Soon the rubber won't meet the road anymore and when you have huges masses of welfare addicts suddently without welfare freebies, chaos erupts. Healthcare reform can be better worked by eliminating punitive lawsuits, allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines, and (the hardest part) forcing all of us to pay for our own medical bills to a greater extent. When demand goes down (since we can't afford the bill), the healthcare industry will find ways to lower the costs.

Taxpayer funded welfare is never the answer.

ChicoDon   November 21st, 2009 3:40 pm ET

It's just amazing how ugly you people are based on your posts.

It seems we Conservatives attack policies and you Liberals will always attack the person or their husband or their kids or their accent or...Fill in the blank.

come on–she is like Rush Limbaugh...she's an entertainer now...she has no serious chance to win any significant election...and everyone knows it...stop posting everything she says or does as news–its irrelevant. In fact, all she is doing is helping Democrats–she is driving a wedge between moderate Republicans and those right wing psychos that support her–enough already, let her go on her money making tour and dissapear–she'll be a trivia question by 2014....

Palin - the leader of the party of NO.

West Texan   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

We might as well stop griping and let this woman do her thing. It has been and will likely to continue to be entertaining, if you know what I mean. In terms of what all this hubbub means for her, who cares? If conservatives want her to be the torch-bearer of their party, so be it. I want her to be their torch-bearer, too!

Hot Dog   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

Why is the news media constantly notifying the public as to what her opinions are on political issues? Who really cares? Divisive politics is not good for this country.

Steve in Kentucky   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

CNN, you all need a news judgment tune-up.

Why don't you run a story about Not-Joe the Not-Plumber "slamming" the health care bill?

Why not report what Levi Johnson has to say about the health care bill?

For the same reason you shouldn't have run this. It ain't news, guys!

Reagan was wrong   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

Sarah Palin is a private citizen who inserts herself into complex discussions via talking points, platitudes and, as we've seen repeatedly, flat out lies (ie "death panels").

Implanting this sort of garbage into the simple minds of the mostly uneducated and heavily armed GOP base is not just irresponsible, but outright dangerous.

Martin   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

Help, I am so confused. All this time I thought the health care reform bill was a good thing and now this! Palin says it is no good. I don't know what to think anymore.

jay in CA   November 21st, 2009 3:39 pm ET

What does her opinion matter anymore? shes not in politics. She just whines and moans and the first someone says something against her she plays the victim card. This woman is a danger to America!

Patrice   November 21st, 2009 3:38 pm ET

Why, oh why, oh why do you continue to give this woman a voice??? Is there no other Republican who has something cogent to say about the health care debate? Come on. Your are journalists, not tabloid reporters. Right?

ThinkAgain   November 21st, 2009 3:38 pm ET

Palin is nothing but a pretty-faced GOP shill, out there repeating GOP talking points.

Abortion is legal in this country, and there's nothing wrong with providing funding for it under this health plan. My tax dollars pay for plenty I don't agree with (specifically, all the money we've paid Blackwater and the other mercenary military contractors); that just goes with the territory of a democracy.

Regarding tort reform, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has shown that limiting malpractice liability could cut health care spending by 0.5 percent – wow, what a savings – NOT!

And since when does Palin really care about special needs children? You know, beyond using her son as a political prop?
She has spent more time away from Trig than with him ...She should keep her lectures to herself!

Palin = Quitter, Liar, Mooch

Matt T   November 21st, 2009 3:38 pm ET

She is probably just disappointed that the Senate bill doesnt make it mandatory for sexual assault victims to pay for their own medical investigations.

Blah, blah, blah! Palin the mental midget continues to spew nonsense while providing a whole new level of entertainment for the rest of us.

SOLID D   November 21st, 2009 3:37 pm ET

Criticizing is easy...no imagination is required. It takes guts, intelligence and courage to provide solutions to the problem. I guess that's why this woman does nothing but criticize and never submit anything that sounds remotely like a solution.

Jim   November 21st, 2009 3:37 pm ET

Republicans, plus many rich Dems and Independents have been consistant in their objections to Health Care reform. They are brutally honest with their beliefs that they would rather see many of their fellow Americans die because of lack of insurance than to pay extra taxes. It is certainly their right as Americans to worship the dollar above the welfare of others. However, while their honesty about their "money values" is appreciated, I wish they would be equally honest about their spiritual beliefs. They are not Christians. They certainly are not followers of the teachings of Christ any more than Muslim or Jewish extremists are followers of God.

Joseph Agunbiade   November 21st, 2009 3:37 pm ET

I think we should continue to be amused by Palin's interesting character, while we pay little or no attention to her words. Republican fear tactics may not work this time as health care bill will soon be passed

Gop   November 21st, 2009 3:36 pm ET

Well I think it would be great for all of you people trash-talking Palin to be sent to prison and have a $250.000 fine your president and liberal Democrats placed in your so-called health bill.

I’m yet to be shocked by all the ignorant liberals on this site that hate Palin. Do you people get emails or text messages from your liberal left wing nut party as to what you should write down in this forum?

The problem is most of you here that are salivating over this bill have no clue as to what is in it and how badly it was written.

The only good thing I believe will come out of this bill is how many Democrats will get beat in the 2010 elections.

Sarah Palin has more brains in her one finger then all you left wing nuts writing in this forum and she makes more sense then all of you hateful ignorant low life liberals!

Outsider   November 21st, 2009 3:36 pm ET

Sarah Palin must not be following the healthcare debate too closely with her comment about abortion. As a very strong Catholic...I am very glad to see that there IS an amendment included in both the House and the Senate bill that basically denies federal coverage for abortion. If Sarah Palin had been watching any of the news channels lately, she would see that the Pro-Abortion crowd is very upset about the amendments that have been added as they believe it will result in less women getting insurance coverage for the procedure. Yet, Sarah keeps harping on and on with her own version.

If she is that out of touch with just one little aspect of the healthcare debate, I wonder what else she is not up to par with....

Brian in California   November 21st, 2009 3:35 pm ET

I'll let my voice be heard sarah.........PASS THIS BILL!!! PASS THIS BILL!!!

"The American people don't support this.."
No Miss Palin, the chior you continually preach to do not support this, the reast of us who live in the real world do support this reform and the path it is following into fruition.

And please let's stop calling her "Governor". She quit her job. If someone can't even handle their first term in office and quits halfway through then they do not deserve to hold onto the title.

Diane   November 21st, 2009 3:34 pm ET

HOORAY FOR HEALTH CARE! I am totally happy about it. That we have gone this long without it is disgraceful and Palin and her death panel silliness can go take a long walk off a short pier.

At what point will we stop giving Sarah Palin and her antics creedence? She is a mud-slinger, a name caller and a perpetuator of fear for those that won't seek out answers on their own. She's comparable to a circus act or a side show and it is one of my greatest hopes that she can go and enjoy her family in Alaska. It is also my hope that the media will stop with the Sarah "stories." The aren't stories!

Harvey Friend   November 21st, 2009 3:28 pm ET

Everything passes...Sarah will too...constant exposure to the public will be her undoing...as it stands today..over sixty percent of Americans will never vote for her...nothing but a lot of smoke and mirrors..

Virginia   November 21st, 2009 3:27 pm ET

I doubt if Palin has ANY IDEA what is actually in the Health Care Reform Bill. She would not exert the effort it would take to actually READ THE BILL and inform herself. She just knows she is AGAINST it and she has come up with some catch SLANG term to throw around– "Obamacare." This bill was crafted by a number of people who have actually given the issues research, thought, time and energy– something Palin doesn't seem to put into anything. What she seems to be good at is speaking her mind "off the cuff," with no real informedness, research, thought or awareness fueling her opinions.

Careful what you ask for   November 21st, 2009 3:27 pm ET

It's amazing to me to hear from the liberals, or the party of NIMBY, as they're otherwise known as. These nut jobs want to live in fantasyland, where nobody works for anything and yet have everything. But, of course, they don't want to have to give up any of their money - they want the rest of us taxed into oblivion. The only way I can imagine anyone with any amount of assets would want to be a liberal is if they didn't work for those assets. Any of us who've worked our rear-ends off to get where we are today are conservatives. I'm not sure that Palin is the answer, but at least she has the guts to stand up to the liberal losers and tell them how it is. So, liberal losers out there, if you want universal healthcare, move to Europe. And to the Savvy Oldtimer comment, get ready to have your healthcare rationed, and be very careful what you ask for.

Alora   November 21st, 2009 3:26 pm ET

LouAz   November 21st, 2009 3:25 pm ET

Has Sarah Palin read the Senate Bill ?
She says she knows what is in it.
Read it for yourself:

Using the PDF Search for this Bill, the word abortion does not appear.
Wonder just what she is talking about ? Or is this more crap that she makes up ? What a gal !

Barbara Holmes   November 21st, 2009 3:25 pm ET

Judging, from everybody's comments, they must be going to benefit from the Government TAKE OVER,and not the people who are going to suffer from this. I hope I live to see the bottom line of thisPLOY, to make the United States Of America, a THIRD world country. You talk about ignorance, they are making Sahara Palin look ignorant, to do it.SHOOT her down and all the little liberal leachs will fall in. Ignorance is Bliss! Only the logical people who, realize the real truth, KNOW what the REALLY ignorant people, DON'T. GoodLUCK to all, your going to need it!

CNN afraid of a liberal post   November 21st, 2009 3:25 pm ET

Why doesn't CNN change the name of their news service "Palin Reporting". For the last month it has been Palin Palin no matter what is happening in this country the reporters at CNN and the other stations are running around trying to see who can post the most crap about her. they were they same way with run a way bride, balloon boy, Anna Nicole. and all the rest. They accuse Fox of not being a news station, which they are not, but darn they are almost as bad. It's Palin all the time. Who in the hades wants to keep hearing about her. Give us news.

Randy   November 21st, 2009 3:25 pm ET

Why do poeople pay to see her or pay her to write a book nobody gives a rats butt on what shes got to say, Hey CNN I use to like to watch the news in the morning with Robin and company but I do think I might be changing the channel.

Tom   November 21st, 2009 3:24 pm ET

I can think of one thing she would be good for.

Steve Gaudet   November 21st, 2009 3:24 pm ET

Somebody's gotta be feeding her the answers when she comments about something...remember her vp interviews on abc and cbs?? She has no knowledge of the complexity of the issues, be it in healthcare, the war, the financial crisis, etc. There's a difference between being spoon fed information and opinions about issues by advisors and really having a mastery of the issues, which she does not have. Through all these months hearing her talk, I have never heard her utter DETAILS about different issues, like statistics and numbers. Not just generalities but facts that show she really masters stuff and is able to talk about an issue's weak points and strong points, is able to really take it apart, analyse it and put it back together and tell us which parts fit and which shouldn't be there. Clinton could do it. Heck, even ole G. Bush could sometimes give us the impression that he did his homework on some stuff. Sorry, but if all Palin has to offer is a demonstration of how bad the other guy's ideas are without IN DEPTH justification, it just doesn't float.

sharon   November 21st, 2009 3:23 pm ET

Public policy by Twitter? She lost her credibility when she quit. Enough of her.

Zelda   November 21st, 2009 3:22 pm ET

Who cares what Sarah Palin thinks, anyway? She's the most poorly informed public person and she thinks she should weigh in on everything. Why the rest of us have to hear about it beats me. I don't understand why anyone would take her seriously.

Denna   November 21st, 2009 3:22 pm ET

Well good for her. After all, SHE and Todd have insurance, so they can take care of their Downs Syndrome son. What about the rest of America and their sick children. Is this woman crazy or just conservative? Oh, wait. It's the same thing isn't it?

justateacher   November 21st, 2009 3:22 pm ET

WHY oh why CNN? Why do you continue to devote space and energy covering this woman? Her scewed-up political blathering and uneducated pontificating merely support the perfect example of a "Quitter". Bailing out on her elected position was both self-serving and antithetical. This woman doesn't deserve news coverage. PLease STOP!

Jon   November 21st, 2009 3:22 pm ET

Someone should ask Sarah Palin if she's read the whole bill. Or if she even plans to try.

Jackie   November 21st, 2009 3:22 pm ET

And how are you going to feel if she's right? How do you feel about the dems bribing Senators with our tax dollars (stimulus money) to vote for something that is not good for the entire country, not just one side. h.m.m.? How do you feel about that?

k   November 21st, 2009 3:21 pm ET

It's too bad that here in 2009 in our country, we are not allowed to have an open and honest debate about health care insurance costs. We hear that tort reform will drastically lower costs: but no one will clearly state how much money from our premiums is spent on lawsuits. Or that better and universal record-keeping will be the magic bullet: but no one will state what percentage of our premiums are lost on inefficiencies of our current methods.

We hear that the government will ration our access to health care, but about a third of the country refuses to acknowledge that the managers at our for-profit health insurance companies do just that now anyway. When they do , they get a bonus because they are keeping costs down. Lost is the fact that grandma didn't get that pacemaker.

We hear that we need to cut costs, and take responsibility for our health care decisions into our own hands. One would assume that means we need to self-ration our own access to health care: maybe I don' t really need that office visit for a cold, maybe I can forgo a checkup this year. But when we hear a statement along those lines about mamograms (or could be psa tests), and politicians twist it into a death panel, rather than having a discussion about cost versus benefit.

Our current health insurance system is for the most part a for-profit industry. For-profit companies have but one purpose: to make a profit. It doesn't matter what they sell, cars, pumpkins or insurance. Their job is to maximize profit, nothing else. If they aren't doing that , they should not be in business. If a for-profit health insurance company is not trying to maximize profits for their shareholders by denying care and raising prices, then they should not be in business or they should turn into a non-profit organization.

Until about one third of our population allows that thought into their heads, nothing will change with health care insurance in this country. The issue, and we, are captives of politicians and talking heads who use fear to stay in office, or to sell advertising minutes.

Ron   November 21st, 2009 3:21 pm ET

Does she ever say anything positive? Better yet, does she EVER stop whining? For a person who hates how she is "treated" by the media, she sure likes to continue to make comments to them and stay in the news? Just proves how flaky she is.

Tom R   November 21st, 2009 3:21 pm ET

Psssst, GOP – YOU LOST. Stop throwing tantrums like a bunch of two year olds denied a cookie.

As for Palin? The woman has not CLUE ONE how to change anything or make anything better. She is nothing but an empty headed doll that regurgitates right wing talking points.

Brad   November 21st, 2009 3:21 pm ET

2 words: Who cares?

wsi   November 21st, 2009 3:20 pm ET

Most of the previous comments on this topic are not based on any facts whatsoever– merely on emotional rhetoric for those who are against Palin!

The truth is that the Obama administration is wanting the government to be in control of our health care plans which means: 111 MORE bureaucracies, rationing, higher taxes, Medicare cuts, added national debt, and further slow down of our economy due to further financial burdens on businesses who will then be less likely to hire more employees!

Health Care definitely needs reform, but this plan is not focusing on just those who are needing insurance. It is a dramatic take over of the best health care service in world!

Argh!!!   November 21st, 2009 3:19 pm ET

Why is she still speaking? She holds no relevance whatsoever. This lady needs to get back to her kitchen and care for her children rather than spouting off about things she has little understanding.

Casual Observer   November 21st, 2009 3:19 pm ET

For goodness sake people – it is just a vote so that this thing can be debated! If America is such an awesome democracy – isn't debate, discussion and THEN a decision part of the process?

You guys need to get a life and look at the big picture, not your idealogical narrow minded views – from BOTH sides!

Ed Linn   November 21st, 2009 3:18 pm ET

If Palin is against it , then you know you should be for it.
Quitter.

marlene   November 21st, 2009 3:18 pm ET

CNN and the rest of the media is directly responsible for helping Mrs. Palin keep her opinions in the news. This false story is worse than the "balloon boy" story. The air is long gone from Mrs. Palin's balloon – she lost! We shouldn't be forced to hear about her "facebook" musings. She won't address the mainstream media directly, stops them from covering her events, yet they pay more lip sevice to her than to the terrible stories of what happens to sick people without health insurance. Shame on CNN and the rest of the media who cover her facebook posts.

D Reilly   November 21st, 2009 3:18 pm ET

Boy Sarah Palin is sure a puppet for the right. I saw her on Fox news and boy was she"prepared" for her interview. Someone should give Bill O'Reilly an Oscar.... No spin my $$$.

fortydammer   November 21st, 2009 3:18 pm ET

Yes we need input from a person with a educational back ground in sports journalism. Why are we getting Palin shoved down our throat by CNN. Please get this attention grabbing idiot out of the news. She has taken down the republican party, with Rush, Colter, Hannity, and the new Antichrist Glenn Beck has her cheerleaders. These people sold their souls, preaching hatred to the ten percent of America that Palin calls, "real Americans". These real Americans are buying up all of the ammo because they think Obama is taking away their guns. They think the world is going to end on 2012. They think we didn't land on the moon. They think Oswalt was a patsy. They home school their kids to hate the government. They are racist. They wanted the auto industry to fail. They think the 700 trillion dollar bank buyout was Obama's, but it was George Bush's'. They want to fight everyone in the middle east. They hate Muslims, even though only a fragment of them are radical. They want Obama to fail, at everything, even though failing would be Americas last chance. Now they are forming militant groups of their own. Soon we will have the "real Americans" against the normal Americans. Sounds like the middle east to me!

Royster   November 21st, 2009 3:18 pm ET

And we care what Palin thinks WHY????

What does Oprah think, what does Brad Pitt think, what does Derek Jeter think about the health care vote? THESE people are equal to Palin, non-political office holders who have had books ghost-written.

Obviously we ALL click on the Palin stories, you either blindly follow her every word without thought (as most of her words are anyway)....or you find the woman incredibly ANNOYING for getting soooo much press time out of sooooo little intelligence.

Ray   November 21st, 2009 3:17 pm ET

Her comments might have some possible relevancy if she had actually read the bill but since it is extremely unlikely that she will ever do that her interpretation is meaningless.

fred   November 21st, 2009 3:17 pm ET

blah, blah, blah...the majority of Americans want this bill passed already,..get on with it! Sarah is yesterday's news...

sam   November 21st, 2009 3:17 pm ET

Go away Sarah....and, please take Dick Cheny with you. Why does anybody bother to give these two moron's any coverage at all? We've heard more out of Dickey since he's been out of office than we ever heard while he was in office. Anybody know what he did while he was VP. I mean besides being the puppet master, pulling Bush's strings?

A. Smith, Oregon   November 21st, 2009 3:16 pm ET

Of course Sarah Palin as the recognized Republican Party spokesperson, The Party of No has to try and obstruct any and all National Health Care plan.

Sarah Palin is a great spokesperson for the Republican Party of NO. No ideas, no solutions, no help and nothing but corrupt.

Go Sarah!, you are so much more colorful than Ole Morman Mitt.

Tom   November 21st, 2009 3:15 pm ET

Did you notice that Sarah did not "say" anything about health care- she "wrote" it. We all know that Sarah Palin is not capable of understanding complex issues nor is she capable of speaking on any matter with any degree of coherency. Sarah has someone hiding on her bus who writes this stuff for her.....that is so obvious it's almost, well, almost transparent!

Gloria   November 21st, 2009 3:15 pm ET

For someone who hates the media, she is always trying to be in the spotlight.

heartlight3   November 21st, 2009 3:14 pm ET

Don't these people understand that when they say such stupid, off the wall things as "death panels" and "takeover of 1/6th of the economy" it undermines their credibility on everything? When I hear stuff that is so obviously made-up fearmongering lies, I will ignore anything they say about anything in the future.

Everyone   November 21st, 2009 3:13 pm ET

Gail   November 21st, 2009 3:13 pm ET

I want this bill to pass, let us not forget what it is really about HUMAN BEINGS! It won"' be perfect but will be a start. I will gladly pay into a public option, but will not tolerate being forced to pay the profits of the insuace industry. The wicked witch from wasilla, just keep on talking out the side of your mouth, even your fanatic followers will come to their senses before long.

Dan   November 21st, 2009 3:13 pm ET

RobinfromArlingtonTx   November 21st, 2009 3:13 pm ET

Taxes will go up, small businesses will close, socialism is a few steps away. If health care passes, every single American will pay more for health care in the form of taxes.

Stick to your bus tour selling your books full of deceptions and continue to make your millions on people that do not understand how potentially dangerous you are. You are not in the Senate; you tried to scare people with your death panels. We do have those they are called Living Wills. To constantly open your mouth to me is inappropriate. You never cared about the Americans and their finances, you quit on a state with a false pretense. Why don't you go back to get a lot of education on foreign policy and many other subjects needed to sound intelligent.

Sarah's Failin'.........and delusional......   November 21st, 2009 3:12 pm ET

No it isn't Sarah Failin'.... The bill is not a takeover of 1/6 of our economy. But you wouldn't know this...you're on the Oil Industries payroll.

For the life of me, I cannot understand CNN. For all of their "polls", how can they justify so much time and effort to a person who has a 29% favorability rating for being President? I understand that ratings are their report card, but give the same time and effort to someone in the GOP party that packs the gear to become relevant.

cathyinAZ   November 21st, 2009 3:09 pm ET

Over 55% support Health Care Reform so as usual she does not know what she is talking about. All this vote does is bring a debate to the floor. Why does the GOP not want the debate?
We need health care reform NOT the continued "lets just line the pockets of the Insurance Companies" – anyone who has insurance knows that you don't choose your own doctor and the insurance company decides what they will pay for and what they won't.
Debate the bill on the floor!

Socrates   November 21st, 2009 3:09 pm ET

Simple math, Sarah. 60 votes–no filibuster. You lose.

Marge   November 21st, 2009 3:09 pm ET

CNN, why are you so fixated on updating Palin reports every day? She's a blogger and a Twitterer, for heaven's sake. You may as well give us Paris Hilton updates. She's much more fun.

There are actually more important thinkers out there. Tell us their thoughts for a change.

John in Tampa   November 21st, 2009 3:06 pm ET

I cannot approve of the extremes of either Communism or Capitalism, and history has shown that something in between works better than either raw extreme. There is no question in my mind that any country able to afford better should not let people die in the streets be it from hunger or cold or lack of basic affordable healthcare. People can do that to themselves, that is their right; but a society should not easily let people die when they still want to live. What else have we got, after all?
So any improvement in healthcare is a good one, and do not kid yourself that insuring the un-insured will not cost more money. But what else are we to be, as a people?

Funny how the left fringe hates the truth that Palin speaks. The hyprocracy and lunacy are evident all over this blog from the left. Liberalism must be some kind of mental retardation. No one willingly supports anything that is detrimental to them. Guess that's why the left needs the government to take care of them as they can't take care of themselves.

I seen a news report about Sarah Palin at one of her book signing events. She looked overwhelmed and anxious.

Hey Sarah, this is just the beginning. Can't wait to see what you look like at the end of your money hungry tour.

My prediction...you might make alot of money, but you will lose more...oh never mind you don't have any morals or values.

Shadowself   November 21st, 2009 3:02 pm ET

While Palin points to some things that could be debated further (maybe changed, maybe not), the point she and most people forget is one point of which I had to remind a politician a short while ago. The U.S. government is absolutely *not* going to get this 100% right the first time.

The politician said to me, "Let's get health care reform through right this time."

I had to tell him he and everyone else had to work out a bill that fixed a LOT of things, didn't really break anything that wasn't broken and move forward. THEN be willing to fix things in subsequent bills that need further fixing.

If people and politicians argue and debate and stall until they think they have it "right" or "perfect" it will never get done.

No matter what your political persuasion, you must agree we need health care reform. The current system is badly broken. People in need are literally dying when they don't have to because of the current system. People in need are sick more than they should be because of the current system. It needs to be fixed now.

Congress....
Shoot for the 80% solution NOW. Then fix the rest in the coming iterations. Don't be afraid to do what you can NOW. And don't be afraid to keep fixing it incrementally in years to come.

Ed, Santa Fe, NM   November 21st, 2009 3:02 pm ET

What right does "Johnny Come Lately" Sarah Palin have in mouthing off about the health care plan when she has already proven she knows so little about what is going on in this country? She ran away from the hard work of being govenor of Alaska, takes open pride in a book she didn't even write, spreads lies that just scare people and I'm sure has a very complete health plan of her own. Unfortunetly there seem to be people who buy what she's trying to sell,no matter what it is. Just because she's good looking and has a" gift of gab" does not make her credible.
. Wake up people. Any movie star could do the same .

Peter Horan   November 21st, 2009 3:01 pm ET

What I want to know is this: WHY are CNN and other respectable (i.e. not Fox "News") organizations spending any time telling us what Sarah Palin thinks. She is a person with no political authority, minimal intellectual ability, and is really of no consequence or importance in America anymore. Please stop covering what this loon "thinks" or more accurately, what her team has told her to say in her hilarious attempt to become President in 2012. Thanks

Tsk, tsk, tsk...Palin, you're a risk! For once the Democrats led by
President Obama have come up with a plan to help millions of
uninsured American's...true, there is more to work out, but you
just can't stand the fact that you "do nothing" Republican's didn't
come up with it first! If you would get your heads out of the
clouds perhaps you could contribute? Nah, you're too busy
trying to take down President Obama to do anything. Shame,
shame on you!

Catherine   November 21st, 2009 2:59 pm ET

“Revisiting some of her campaign trail talking points, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin weighed in on the Senate health care vote…”

So Palin’s learning not to comment on the issues without a cheat sheet. The other night Sean Hannity’s asked her about Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions and the poor woman made an utter fool of herself when she kept referring to Iran as Iraq.

usualone   November 21st, 2009 2:58 pm ET

Still amazing that people like this woman. It speaks to their character rather than her own character. Of course, CNN likes to publish about her as folk like me continue to respond and of course those who love her really like to open their mouths with insults about those who oppose her. When are they going to realize she is doing it all for the money. She will bail out on them in a minute, you betcha.

David Chacon from Alaska   November 21st, 2009 2:57 pm ET

One conservative proposal for controlling the cost of health care is tort reform. It limits the amount of compensation that a damaged party can recover. Palin fully supports tort reform. Yet, she believes the $500 million ExxonMobil payment to Alaska fishermen for PUNATIVE damages (as opposed to compensatory) was OK (in fact she thought it was too small) – or at least she did before she became VP nominee.

Charles   November 21st, 2009 2:57 pm ET

Folks, Sarah was right (sort of) – there have been Death Panels controlling the end of life part of health care for many years.

The insurance companies' panels that permit or NOT live saving procedures for their clients.

Republican legislators who have blocked for many years any access to medical insurance for 30,000,000 Americans

I agree with her – we must VOTE NOW to eliminate both of these Death Panels!

Tammy   November 21st, 2009 2:57 pm ET

Mike Austin   November 21st, 2009 2:56 pm ET

BTW, don't you realize the republicans are a minority, so are democrats. The majority are independents and conservatives. You can vent but do you really think NOT reading/understanding a bill that will cost over a TRILLION dollars is a probelm? Do you spend money and balance your personal finances that way? Are you reality challenged?

Tammy   November 21st, 2009 2:55 pm ET

How do we get her to stop? How do we get the sensible normal media to either ignore her, or refute every single one of her supposed points - although that would take forever.

Where are the experts on this? Or will she implode/explode? Ah, wishful thinking.

Brian   November 21st, 2009 2:55 pm ET

Why doesn't CNN report on who's paying her to talk about health care?

Jason   November 21st, 2009 2:54 pm ET

Mickey (all other Palin haters)

Your comment that "Nobody cares what she thinks" is so false and in fact the opposite....Everyone cares what she thinks, especially the dems.

Why else would you be taking the time to read this article? Why would she be all over the news? Why would her book already be a bestseller before its release?

The truth: She scares the dems because she undermines all liberal ideology....She's pro-life, pro-gun, and pro-God, and that scares you guys. You guys know your anointed one Obama is failing miserably and healthcare is his only hope of actually accomplishing a feat in office. Even though this bill is the biggest piece of garbage, if the dems had a brain they would amend the private insurers and eliminate this public option.

Obama has a blue print for fixing an economy and he's doing the opposite, I guess tax cuts and spending cuts aren't in his vocabulary. He is Jimmy Carter 2.0.

Nothing like Sarah Palin repeating the Lipton Flow-through Tea Bag Party Talking Points.

NVa Native   November 21st, 2009 2:54 pm ET

Please let this woman fade into the background. Stop covering all her silly remarks. She is not quailified in anything except getting the tea-baggers all excitted in every way.
Hey Dems – stop dithering with the party of failure and pass the health care reform with the public option now! Or you will end up with their crown of hypocrisy and incompetence.

Dan in Capitola   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Keep those GOP 'talking points' coming, Gov Bailin', and hope to God no one asks you to explain any of them in depth.

Soporifix   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

One of these days she'll crawl off and dissolve back into the slime she came from, and leave "actual" politicians to try and "actually" govern without the likes of her spewing from the sidelines.

francis Opara   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Much as I admire and support Mrs S. palin, I wish to call her to order and urge her to relax her stand on national issues. She is becoming too arrogant and self opinionated which unfortunately is going to play negatively on her political future. The GOP is using her to do their dirty talks and to wage their ideological wars.

If she can slow down a bit and listen to the voice of reason, probably she will establishe her self. At the end of the day she should remember that it not only the GOP that will support her ambition. They will use her as an image maker, but for the bigger picture, Americans are not yet ready for a person with an unguarded tongue, and one sided political views.

N/B. I am non partisan

Republican in Distress   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Republicans, please tell me that we can do better than this. I will not vote for a ticket that has her on it, she is not intelligent and does not have any experience on the national level and NO Alaska is not considered as political experience. She is a joke.

Michelle from Iowa   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Sarah Palin is a nobody, a quitter. She didn't even finish her governor term. Governing Alaska with it's oil revenue to supplement the budget is hardly a challenge. And writing a memoir when she hasn't even done anything to speak of? Why continue reporting on her? Go crawl back in your igloo, Sarah and don't come out until you can speak intelligently about issues. If this is all the GOP has to offer in the next round of elections, I will welcome our current President back with open arms!

Greg in Atlanta   November 21st, 2009 2:53 pm ET

One more thing: as far as torte reform goes, the Bush Administration did a study last year that revealed that lawsuits constitute 1% of the total healthcare bill. 1%!!! I know that we need to address this issue, but at this point, torte reform is closer to "red herring" than "major issue".

Can we please start making sense instead of grandstanding? I want real leadership, not people telling me that duct tape and plastic sheeting will save me from the terrorists.

Les   November 21st, 2009 2:52 pm ET

Sarah needs to become more transparent and disappear.

Debbie   November 21st, 2009 2:51 pm ET

For all of you above that commented against Palin, you need to think twice. I would never vote for her in anything but you need to listen to her. She is absolutely right, The Democrats, Obama, Reid, Pelosi all want this thing passed as it is but it will only hurt every person in the US. You will be forced to pay for insurance or pay a fine and the insurance you get will be so crappy that you will die before you get good health care. It is true, every one needs health care. It costs too much to go to the doctor, be in a hospital or pay for medicne. The idiots running the government should have left everyone alone and came up with a plan to help only those that don't have insurance. Instead they have to screw up everyone. If you think they care about you, think again. All those folks in Washington have the best coverage you could imagine. You will NOT get this coverage. If you don't have a job, your chances will get slimmer for finding one and those that have one had better watch out. If I owned my own business I would probably have to close the doors because of this. So many of you are blind to the Democrats. If this thing passes, we will see a bigger mess than a Depression and I'll guarantee we will have all new faces in Washington by 2012. Go ahead and bend over because you are getting ready to be screwed.

Since when does a "person" (who was a Mayor of a small town in the less populated state in the Union and a "quitter" after 1 1/2 years in off ice as Governor of her State) have the ordacity to critize the leaders of this country. She really doesn't know what the heck she is tatking about, and yes, why is CNN giving her the opportunity to express these idiotic views? Is it to help her with the sale of her (ghost written) book?

I'd like to know where the religious fervor people are that coronated this incompetant disaster. There's not many of them saying anything to defend the mind-numbing stupidity of their vote. Even Air America shoots at the pres.

Are they the mindset that government is the do, be and give-all entity in their lives, caring for them from cradle to grave at someone else's expense because they are 'entitled'. They must be, because they are not to be found defending their incredibly stupid decision to install 'Disaster Incorporated' and his team of nitwits into the white house.
So how's that 'Hope and Change' working out for all you morons who couldn't see past your outstretched hand for the freebies.

Do libs ever actually come out and defend what they believe in or just stick to character assault and name calling for those that don’t agree with them?

But then, I ask a rhetorical question....

dina osullivan   November 21st, 2009 2:50 pm ET

Why does the media continue to help Palin run for the presidency? She is uneducated but no fool. She knows ow to call attention to herself. God help us if the people of America elect this woman as president. We are doomed.

Haha, judging by the comments left on CNN, it seems everyone thinks Sarah Palin is dumb, yet the same people cannot wait to read each and every article/posting about her. The media, too, cannot stop talking about her.

Everybody seems to jump on the bandwagon of riding Palin's big coattails for $$$, Dems included.

Barry   November 21st, 2009 2:48 pm ET

It is obvious that this dingbat is reading from someone else's paper because she doesn't know what anything is. I am still waiting for the right-wingers to call her a celebrity like they did Barack Obama. Oh I forgot it only applies to the Democrats.

Bob Ramos   November 21st, 2009 2:46 pm ET

Palin never read the bill nor does she intend to. All of the points she mentioned came straight from the RNC verbatim.

Palin holds no elective office; is a private citizen; does no research and is a mouthpiece for the RNC. Why the media chooses to cover her is a mystery.

Bob   November 21st, 2009 2:46 pm ET

I'd really like to thank all the Coporate managed media for making sure her stupidity and irrelevant arguments get noticed by our nation. It just reminds us we made the correct decision in 2008!!! Hopefully....Cheney will continue "shooting off" his mouth to remind us also.

Shayne from NH   November 21st, 2009 2:45 pm ET

Savvy Oldtimer had it right: for someone who quit their post as a governor she really has a lot of political opinions for everyone else.

In hindsight, keeping her in the political spotlight is an excellent idea for independents and democrats. As Mary Matalin said recently, she has napalmed bridges ("never burn your bridges") and viciously attacked anyone opposed to her or her extremem ideas.

Point being, people are seeing her for the moronic polarizing figure she is. For the people who truly believe in her I'm surprised you are still alive and didn't kill yourself during the hale bopp comet return.

T'SAH from Virginia   November 21st, 2009 2:45 pm ET

AND SO SHE WRITES: "Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is pushing for yet another weekend vote ...because he knows that the American people will be none too happy about the Democrats' proposal the longer they have to look it over..."

This woman needs HELP!!! Maybe he's trying to push the votes because this has been lingering tooooo long and should get passed before the year is out ........ AS PROMISED!! It's YOU and your MERRY MEN and YOUR Party of NO who is lingering this on until 2010-2012 thinking you will get points for stopping it!!!

Sarah Palin, like all of her Republican Conservative friends, are against anything that helps the middle class or poor. She appears, like her cronies, to only favor the rich.

Not sure she understands that it is a vote simply to bring it to the floor for debate.

McShannon   November 21st, 2009 2:43 pm ET

Sarah probably sympathizes, encourages and enjoys the antics of the tea party group also. All of these splinters, she is part of nothing that can build nothing. I voted for Obama and I voted for Reagan and I am not sorry for doing either. Sarah has little to offer to intelligent debate. She is anti-abortion as am I but Sarah doesn’t think that these same children should have available health care. Where does it say that in the bible Sarah? Do Christians have a responsibility to help those in need? I think that they do.

Kate   November 21st, 2009 2:43 pm ET

Yeah, just keep it the way it is or the way the republicans want it and that will mean more of you die, because of their lack to help get this Health care passed.....or even come up with a sensible one themselves which they have not come up wtih anything that would change the current system......and still be to costly for most people;...Palin it is very evident that you are still sore that Obama bet you and McCain......you can hear it every time you open your mouth......

Here is my favorite part of here posting

"The American people don't support this – we support the commonsense solutions"

She does not speak for the American people, give me a break. She is an embarassment to this country. Anyone the would even entertain the idea of her in the oval office is an idiot. What would that nut in Iran do to us with her in the Whitehouse? or North Korea for that matter.
She told O'Reilly that she was smart enough to be president because she has common sense and was a straight shooter. I guess she was real straight with the people of Alaska when she swore to serve her term and someone with common sense would not be involved in one ethics investigation after another.

PLEASE MAKE HER GO AWAY!! SHE IS AN INSULT TO THIS COUNTRY.

Don Diego   November 21st, 2009 2:42 pm ET

Can this "rogue" ever come even close to telling the truth? She talks about government funds being used to perform abortions when in fact that isn't in the bill and has been widely publicized. She talks about the need about tort reform. I agree with tort reform, but the republicans have been kicking that one around since Nixons time, yet have never done a anything about it. To me, this says they have real intent behind their rhetoric, that it's just hot air they blow around during elections, soon afterward to be forgotten. I think that just the mere utterance of this out dated schmaltz alone, shows what an unsophisticated hick this woman is and her level of incompetence.

Of course, they probably won't care. And probably won't change. But there are better sources for real usable information and news out there, and as soon as we all start looking to them for facts and insightful editorials with integrity that increase the readers/watchers knowledge, CNN can change it's name to E!2 and cater to every low i.q. sensational story grubbing and paparazzi feeding simpleton who likes this kind of brain numbing garbage. I want to hear what a host has to say about news, not look at their makeup. Please send these 'reporters' and 'journalists' out to do some real work. America needs it bad right now.

the only one who is out of control is Sarah Palin and the rest of the republican party. It's funny how they will demonize the democrats for doing things that dont even compare to how they were doing t in the Bush Admin. The republicans have a strange kind of elitist attitude, where it's only ok if they do anything, and a sign that the country will be ruined if the dems do something even remotely similar. Where was all this outcry 6-8 years ago, when we NEEDED people questioning the actions and motives of the government? In my mind, if you were caught up in the hype, fear, and facist patriotism of 2002, then you have no business commenting on this countries current state of being. We need level heads and rational thinking. We've seen how religious zealots and fanatics deal with problems. Now it the turn of the scientists and progressives, who have always been the ones that have pulled this country out of the mud time and time again.

Palin's comments will go against her if she runs for any office. Lots of people are suffering without healthcare and have lost their homes and savings, apparently she doesn't understand nor has she read the plan proposal. No matter how many pages – you still can still read it in a few days unless you never read . Guess she wants all the free publicity she can get for her books'cause the fanfair will stop really soon.

like she read it, if some one told her that the moon was green cheese she'd repeat it just to stay in the news

Richard-Arkansas   November 21st, 2009 2:34 pm ET

No, we certainly don't want to have a government plan to relieve the pain from the "for profit" insurance company death panels as well as consume 30% of all the healthcare dollars without doing anything to improve health.

If the Republicans are so concerned that people might save money and get better health, then amend the bill to mutalize the all the health insurance companies so the policy holders control the pay, margins, and even the jobs of those who so much control our lives. The current system isn't working.

It isn't a money issue. We just had a one year defense bill signed for 7 times the amount of the 10 year total. Every American soldier in Afganistsan and Iraq costs the American taxpayer a million ($1,000,000) a year to support.

And Blanche Lincoln, you better not stop this. You are in trouble for waffling on every issue but on this one, you will have a chance to inspect those rice fields and I would hope in the interim, you lose your chairperson position on the Ag Committee.

I wonder if Palin can read a 2,074 page long document independently. And, why is CNN reporting her facebook postings almost daily? If people are interested in reading about her on facebook, they will go there on their own. Is CNN running out of news stories?

Now that Todd Palin resigned from BP and she quit her governor post midterm. The Palin family probably had to buy an individual health insurance policy for the family. I don't think any insurance company could deny her a policy even though her baby has a pre-existing condition – Down syndrome. The insurer knows she will make it news if denied. However, not everyone is a Palin. She doesn't know what it is really like to be an average Joe any more.

Jason B.   November 21st, 2009 2:33 pm ET

I don't mind that the Republicans aren't in favor of the current health care bill. That's fine, that's their right. Being able to disagree on something like that is part of what makes this such a good country: the ability to disagree with government. But what angers me is that the Republicans offer no other solution. All they seem to be saying is "No!" If you don't like the bill/plan being offered, make a counter-offer! Come up with a different proposal, then work together to hammer out the differences! Good grief people! Is it that darn difficult?

It's gotten to the point that if President Obama put forth a bill banning the kicking of puppies and kittens, you'd have GOP members protesting that bill simply because Obama wanted it.

Beverly   November 21st, 2009 2:32 pm ET

This lady is a joke. I find it horrible that people like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck are pushing Sarah Palin on their listener and supporters that Sarah Palin would be a find candidate for the 2012 seat for President. This is a joke to these guys to see how much control and power they have. They are rich beyond our imagination. It would not matter who ran the country to them. It would not affect their bottom line (money). However, the problem this would cause the middle class and the poor, now thats a another story.

Why would she mix book sales with something she knows nothing about, sales must be slow. She quits everything except for the ill informed hate filled comments that fall out of her mouth. She says Americans do not support this bill, is she talking about the very small percentage that have nothing better to do but believe her lies ? I did not realize she was annoited to speak for all of American on her book tour.Too bad Alaska does not want her back, cause it sure would be nice to hear from an educated person that is not known as the biggest liar in America on such an important issue

You may not like her spoutingt off but you better take heed about a government ran health plan. Have any of you read it? I have about 1/2 of it. Beware if you make a certain amount a year and do not buy a health plan you are fined AND or jailed. So much for freedom. Cosmetic type surgery is taxed ontop of the procedure cost this includes braces, reconstructive surgery after a mastecomy, teeth whitening, burn graphs to just name a few. The wording in some areas are very vague and can cut alot of care out. If anyone has stood in line for unemployment lately just think how long you will wait for healthcare.

Now that Sarah is no longer Gov and Todd quit his North Slope job, does that mean they have to buy their own health insurance? I wonder how much it will cost them? Will they be declined if the insurance co considers Trig's Downs as a pre-existing condition? Will they get VIP coverage because she is a popular Repub? Or will she end up like the rest of us who pay for coverage that isn't there when we need it? We can only hope she experiences what the rest of us have had to live with now that taxpayers aren't funding her family's coverage.

The point that bothers me the most is that people like Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh remind me of those kids in elementary school who shout "FIGHT! FIGHT!" but who no skin in the game other than liking to watch OTHER people fight.

We have become such sheep here in America. Wrap that old "Less Taxes" mantra in that shiny "More Freedom" clothes, and people fall right in line. Has anyone stopped to think that the reason that our country is so broke is that we haven't paid enough dues lately to support this, the greatest country club in the world? Wars are expensive, education is expensive, infrastructure is expensive, and all we've done in the last 30-40 years is give the richest a greater percentive of tax breaks so they will stimulate the economy.

Well, there are only so many rich people, and unless they are going to go to every store in the US spending money like Santa Claus, then the wealth in the US needs to be better distributed.

Put it another way, what happens when blood is unevenly distributed in the human body? Heart attack, fainting, aneurysm, etc. Wake up America! It ain't just H1N1 that's making you sick. It's mendacity.

gus   November 21st, 2009 2:28 pm ET

shut this woman up already. her lies and moronic comments are poison to all americans.

AJ   November 21st, 2009 2:28 pm ET

actually a large majority support the reforms being proposed so please do not speak for me Mrs. Palin

TT   November 21st, 2009 2:28 pm ET

You go Sarah, tell it like it is. The Libs don't want to hear it but you're the one who is making sense trying to enlighten them on the dangers of the bill. Ever since the dembos took over, this country has gone to hell in a handbasket. I can't wait until America has a chance to vote all of the dumbocrats out of office. I hope they enjoyed they're short little stints in control of every aspect of government, cause they blew it! As they always do!

JulieBGoode   November 21st, 2009 2:27 pm ET

Palin speaks out against health care? Who cares what it thinks??!

NYCuban   November 21st, 2009 2:27 pm ET

If a simple High School diploma where a prerequisite for voting rights, Sarah Palin would be nothing more than a comedians fodder.

Simon   November 21st, 2009 2:27 pm ET

CNN, PLEASE, PLEASE stop featuring this unlettered and uneducated woman. She is no longer a politician – she's a private citizen and, as such, deserves NO media reporting whatsoever – particularly when she starts off on some inarticulate rant about an issue which is political. Apart from anything else, it's obvious from what she does say that she hasn't understood the first thing about it to begin with.

TheyRallPoliticians   November 21st, 2009 2:26 pm ET

I see nothing BUT name-calling, right here on this blog, Patsy, Texas and it isn't comin' from Mrs. Palin. Oy, the hypocrisy...

Susan   November 21st, 2009 2:26 pm ET

Lack of Transparency? The entire bill (which, when font adjusted, is about the same length as the Palin book) is available for all to read. Maybe she's just to busy on her over-inflated ego trip (or book signing) to read the documentation.

John   November 21st, 2009 2:25 pm ET

Sarah who? Talking points.....honesty? Christian? please!!!!, everyone deserves health care....whatsoever you do to the least...you do unto me..........

Anonymous   November 21st, 2009 2:25 pm ET

These comments prove once again all she cares about is extreme right-

Ladont   November 21st, 2009 2:25 pm ET

If you are going to continue to cover this woman, could you at least use the picture from Runner's World?

Aaron, Maryland   November 21st, 2009 2:25 pm ET

For Gods sake stop paying her any mind!
SHUT UP PLEASE!

Diane   November 21st, 2009 2:24 pm ET

Umm, sorry Sarah, but your party ignored this issue for the past eight years while the problem got worse. If you and your party were too cowardly to tackle a difficult problem, you should keep your too-little-too-late two cents out of it.

Felonious Monk   November 21st, 2009 2:23 pm ET

Palin believes that denying American citizens their rights is acceptable in the name of defending America. Either America stands for rights and freedoms, or we do not. Which is it?

Do you conservatives really believe that giving up our rights is a good thing? Fools!

Did you know that in 2007 the Dept of Defense computer network was hacked into and terabytes of national security data was downloaded (stolen). This was under a conservatives (Bush) watch. While they wer torturing little peons, national security data was being stolen by the truckload. How is that protecting America?
Do you conservatives really believe that torturing peons and allowing national security data to be stolen is protecting America? Fools!

TheyRallPoliticians   November 21st, 2009 2:23 pm ET

Every one of these comments is pathetic beyond belief (and you guys seriously need to learn to spell). I don't like nor do I defend Sarah Palin either, but I'm trying to find the "hateful, name-calling rhetoric" that Patsy, Texas refers to. And ummmm.....AJ...."fine people for not buying health coverage". Ummmmm....that's actually IN THE HEALTH CARE BILL as proposed by your darling Democrats. You attribute that to Palin? This is the problem with politics. The never-ending hypocrisy...I feel sorry for all of you who blindly accept your party's policies. BOTH Republicans AND Democrats. Like I said....pathetic...

Dan, TX   November 21st, 2009 2:22 pm ET

As an Obama supporter, I will be voting for Sarah in the Republican Primary and I hope all democrats switch over to get the most repulsive Republican possible nominated.

All Democrats should be eager to register as republicans to vote for Sarah.

Jim   November 21st, 2009 2:22 pm ET

Sarah Palin has to be the reincarnation of a talking parrot. Just listen to her, no original thoughts, just repeating what other idiots say.
She has the IQ of a house fly!!!!!! Stop printing everything this air head has to say and perhaps she'll disappear back into the Alaskan wilderness.

WrongKindofChange   November 21st, 2009 2:22 pm ET

So much for transparency and change the democrats promised. I mean when they have to buy votes (adding 100 million for the state of Louisiana to the health care bill) you know that the people are no longer be represented. Where's the change? Oh wait it's there, it's just the wrong kind of change we wanted.

Looks like Obama's corrupt Chicago politics has spread like wildfire through the democrats.

SkiDoc   November 21st, 2009 2:21 pm ET

Sarah Palin is simply stating what is in the minds of most Americans – we don't need a bill that will massively impact our children and grandchildren by pushing us into catastrophic debt (and you can't blame this on George Bush). Sorry, wimmins libbers, but this woman has more credibility than our current president who hasn't had the experience of running a dairy queen – let alone a multi-trillion dollar "community agency." Go Sarah – you betcha!

Chris75   November 21st, 2009 2:20 pm ET

All the blame need to go on John McCain for bringing this lady into the light she was better off being unknown to the people.. Now that she have this book out people are going to go and get it thank god that someone else did the writing for it and all she had to do was say what she wanted in it.

joe   November 21st, 2009 2:19 pm ET

what else do you expect from a intellectual lightweight! the lady is a blowhard. anybody who really loves their country should not vote for that lady.

Tired of Miss Winky   November 21st, 2009 2:18 pm ET

I keep wondering why Governor Winky stories keep showing up under "Politics" versus "Entertainment". Regardless of her maddening arrogance, I gotta hand it to her for her acting skills. It's almost as if she believes her own lies.

Tristan   November 21st, 2009 2:18 pm ET

The funny thing is, she actually seems to believe that the majority of Americans see the world as she does.

Big Daddy   November 21st, 2009 2:18 pm ET

So Ms.Palin,What would you do for health care ? Please tell us !
All you have are talking points. You haven't a clue what is in the health care bill.To even think that there are 23 % of the people that listen to anything that you have to say is beyond me.We live in a sad nation if you have a say in anything our government does.

Carla   November 21st, 2009 2:17 pm ET

I know of a person who died because there insurance company that they paid high premiums for did not pay for the care they needed. I know of a few people that work and can't get insurance because it is not offered to them through employment and they can't buy a private policy because they were born with a disability. How can we have this happening in our country? And the nerve of our Senators, that have great health insurance that has been paid for by my deceased friend and my uninsured friend along with many others like them. Our senators and representatives should not have their health insurance until they provide reform that gives people the ability to buy affordable insurance that covers the same care they receive as our representatives.

Mauiharper   November 21st, 2009 2:17 pm ET

Sarah Palin is a sore loser who will sell anybody out (including all under and uninsured Americans) to sell more books. You know she has got to be a pathetic liar when the GOP call her out on the "fabrications" in her book. Shut up and go home Sarah. You are the worst thing that could happen to America (next to another Bush or Cheney in National office.)

Mike in Texas   November 21st, 2009 2:17 pm ET

Arm chair politics as usual. The Senate should vote for a debate. That what Democracy is. People aren't going to agree on everything, that is fact. Debate it, put it out in the open. But for people like Palin, Romney, Pawlenty, etc. You don't have any experience in this so please keep your 2 bit comments to yourself. I doubt any of them have any great insight that makes their OPINION more valid than anyone else.

mms55   November 21st, 2009 2:16 pm ET

no one care's what this quiter thjink's. i agree they should let people know exactly how she treated her fan's.but you know what that's what they get for listening to this loser.

Joann   November 21st, 2009 2:16 pm ET

Sarah Palin doesn't know anything about health care and insurance industry. She's a whiney, spoiled brat as far as I am concerned. Sick of hearing about her and her dumb act.

dieter   November 21st, 2009 2:15 pm ET

Why is it that the Republicans only seem to care about us citizens when we are "in utero" or have large check writing wallets? Once a new citizen is out of the Repub. protected womb, they are on their own. Hopefully, Dad and Mum( and there had BETTER be both, hopefully Christian!) have wealth and great health coverage. Is it that the Reps. hate the rest of us, or do they not understand that having a healthy population benefits ALL of us? Nixon opened the doors to the "for profit" health system that has seemed to replace the exam table with a barrel to be bent over. If anyone believes we have the best in the world health care, you have never been out of the country.

mnscott   November 21st, 2009 2:15 pm ET

Who is this Sara Palin? Is she a legislator, a Govenor? What? Why is her opinion even mentioned? I would bet she could not even explain what a tort is, much less explain needed reformation.

Drew   November 21st, 2009 2:15 pm ET

Let';s stop giving valuable news coverage time to people who don't matter. Ms. Palin dos not matter. She is a footnote (and an embarassment) to the intellect of our time.
Let's move on to people who have an intelligent addition to make to our national discourse.
Sarah Palin's 15 minutes are up.

JJ in NY   November 21st, 2009 2:15 pm ET

Sarah Palin is a true American patriot, and America loves her !

.... except for the looney fringe liberals.

Jim   November 21st, 2009 2:15 pm ET

Mrs. Palin has learned well from celebrities like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Spewing verbal garbage no matter how untrue and unethical gets press and makes money...LOTS of money!
But there's also a scary side. Millions of people actually subscribe to this train of thought!

JF   November 21st, 2009 2:14 pm ET

I love that Palin is a Republican.
I love that no Repubs will speak honestly in public denouncing her, while you can clearly see them squirming to get away from the question.
I love that the world sees her as the biggest phony in politics today, yet repubs cant say anything.
I love that she is internationally known as "stupid"!
I love that along with people like Rush, she will torpedo the right wing!

Dems may not be perfect, but at least they are attempting to fix things.
Obama may make some mistakes...but the last guy...
broke the world!

ross berg-buffalo ny   November 21st, 2009 2:14 pm ET

Even though the latest polls again show that nearly 80% of swing voters think Sarah Palin is totally unqualified to hold national office...you've got to give her high marks for staying in the national media spotlight...and for making lots of money selling her book!!!

An interesting question is ...if she were not good looking would we still be discussing her?? I for one doubt it!!!

Mitch   November 21st, 2009 2:13 pm ET

Because ordinary Americans spend their free time reading legislation. Palin can barely read and verbally express herself without sounding like a grade schooler. And now she fails to grasp that this vote SENDS THE BILL FOR DEBATE. So a note for Sara....debate does NOT mean the final vote....it means Americans will hear the people the ELECT to REPRESENT THEM debate the merits and demerits of this legislation.

And if you notice Sara, most of these legislators have been in congress longer than you've been a governor. So Sara and friends...leave it to the people that know a bit more than you'll ever be capable of understanding.

Sara   November 21st, 2009 2:12 pm ET

I don't understand why Palin & Co. don't want the bill to be debated. What are they afraid of? Let's let the politicians have a good, long, open debate with the media fact checking everything they say. How on earth could that be anything but productive?

Kevin   November 21st, 2009 2:12 pm ET

Thank God no one takes her seriously. Did she take time to study the
health care bill after reading "all of those newspapers" she reads?
One can only hope that she is the Republican front runner in 2012!

Edwin   November 21st, 2009 2:12 pm ET

Jeff wrote "...but I am in agreement on Palin's observation for tort reform. Congress really should do something about out of control legal expense regarding malpractice claims."

My understanding is that states which do cap malpractice claims actually have higher insurance premiums. Controlling the legal expenses is therefore not likely part of the solution.

Laughing all the way   November 21st, 2009 2:12 pm ET

This comment from someone (the quitter of college, governor, whatever) who evens back out of her book signing venues. Oh yes, we VALUE her opinion !!!

Lois   November 21st, 2009 2:11 pm ET

What is up with these late night weekend votes though?

Nika4   November 21st, 2009 2:11 pm ET

Why this woman still is receiving so much press is beyond me. She is as ignorant and uninformed as anyone in the public eye, and yet, she has an opinion on everything. Or, as my father used to say, opinions are like (restricted word) and everybody has one.

SAVVY OLDTIMER   November 21st, 2009 12:53 pm ET

For someone who is no longer a politician, and quit her post, big mouth Palin sure has a lot of opinions on the political process.

Right wingnuts are the darlings of dementia   November 21st, 2009 12:52 pm ET

The 2000 pages are in big print, so even republicans will be able to read it. The 72 hour window gives ample time as it is around 400 pages if it was in the same print as "Going Rogue."

Did I miss something, or did Sarah forget to mention her lies about death panels? The common sense solutions of the GOP is more tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

buzzy   November 21st, 2009 12:51 pm ET

Why do you keep giving her space? Hits? Adverts? What?

AJ   November 21st, 2009 12:50 pm ET

Palin,s Common Sense Solutions..... keep everything exactly the same, and fine people for not buying health coverage.

Don't be afraid of the GOP pro-corporate scare tactics. Basic Health Care for everyone, now.

Rush,the carnival barker   November 21st, 2009 12:47 pm ET

I laugh at this lowlife Corporate shill daily, hahaha

Mark Robinson   November 21st, 2009 12:45 pm ET

The news media keeps covering the idiocy that this woman spouts. Is the world in such good shape that this is legitimate news? Sarah Palin would not know the difference between Israel and Lebanon without a cue card. She is a means for the far right wing of the Republican party to speak their agenda without having any real leadership among them. The RNC should denounce her as an aberration left over from a hot political campaign and move into the future with their search for real people with real minds and the ability to use them Take a page from the liberals and "move on".

Kenneth Brush   November 21st, 2009 12:45 pm ET

This woman is dangerous. CNN, you should be ashamed to give her lies a forum.

Fed up Monority   November 21st, 2009 12:44 pm ET

She can't even comprehend the bill......same old same old from this women......what are your solutions....SARAH FAILIN PALIN

Jeff, Huntington Beach, CA   November 21st, 2009 12:44 pm ET

Never thought I'd be able to say this but I am in agreement on Palin's observation for tort reform. Congress really should do something about out of control legal expense regarding malpractice claims.

Truth of the matter is, somebody must have given her this talking point because she is really too stupid to come up with something based on common sense on her own. The problem with Sarah and the Republicans is they will not participate in any real debate in regards to reforming our totally messed up, insurance company controlled healthcare in this country. Than there are the ignorant lemmings who will buy her fictional book while praising God for their new savior.

What a joke... but than, why would we expect any better from such self centered, self serving, self righteous ignorance.

Patsy, Texas   November 21st, 2009 12:43 pm ET

Well, Sara Pain certainly knows all about out-of-control politicians.
She heads the list. Her uninformed, hateful, name-calling
rhetoric is just what American does not need. I truly pity the people
who find her, and those who are just like her, appealing. They
apprently are just as inadequate as those they admire. If these
people had any self-esteem they would not have to resort to being
part of the problem, and instead would contribute to solving
the problems. Debate is a good thing; unwillingness to listen is
not. The stain on Pain, is mainly in her brain. Thank you

mario mtl ca   November 21st, 2009 12:42 pm ET

Cnn fall in love with Palin no doubt, still take any words she said even when it's stupid

Stay away.   November 21st, 2009 12:41 pm ET

I think it is about time that Mrs. Palin stop sticking her nose in everybody's business. Now she is criticizing the democrats heath care program as well as the senate health care vote for Saturday. She is making a fool of herself and I think she should stay away from the spot light and just sale her book. If this the way to pave the road to the 2012 presidential election she is going about it the wrong way. We have better educated women in this country and I do not know what people see in her. She could not not even run her own state and if you think she can run the country, think twice.

Dave C - NJ   November 21st, 2009 12:40 pm ET

LOL. Let her keep talking. It's pure entertainment. Until the GOP comes up with a serious candidate (ie, someone that is not a total joke) they will stay at the bottom where they belong. I'm no fan of the Dems however the GOP is pure scum.

Complain all you want about the "vile hatred from the left." Yes, I do have hatred for their backwards stupidity. The GOP has ALWAYS been wrong on science, taxes, environment, health...the list is endless.

The GOP is the Party of "ME."

proud conservative   November 21st, 2009 12:39 pm ET

EXACTLY right!

keith   November 21st, 2009 12:39 pm ET

blah blah blah..that's all i hear from this woman!

Jerry-Dallas-Tx   November 21st, 2009 12:34 pm ET

This party is gone ROGUE ! Guess what? If I told Republicans the current President of Scotland is Tony Blair and I repeat it time and again they will accept it.
How did the party of Lincoln end into such shame? Do we start to blame Reagan and Bushes?
This is woman is complete insult to American intellect.

Sean   November 21st, 2009 12:33 pm ET

Listening to Palin on anything plitical is like listening to Btittainy Spears. This lady in NUTS!

Doug - Dallas   November 21st, 2009 12:33 pm ET

Sarah, you must have been talking to Mr. Crapo because you're full of his crap. The vote is because our illustrious Senate could not get around to it during the week. Are you really that stupid?

Mickey   November 21st, 2009 12:32 pm ET

Armchair Politics at it's best. She must be taking her cue from Dick Cheney.

Nobody cares what you think, Sarah. Now GO AWAY aready!

Liberal4Obama   November 21st, 2009 12:31 pm ET

Why is CNN not covering the fact that Sarah Palin bailed out on her readers, it's all over youtube... come on CNN you put this woman on display everyday for profit yet you ignore the fact that she is treating people like dirt... Fair and Balanced?
