If given the opportunity to vote on his own impeachment, I feel he would vote himself out. Considering he voted for Clinton’s impeachment back when Clinton was president. Granted this impeachment trial is about his ethics and not about the affair, but I don’t think this probe into his spending would have happened if he didn’t abandon this duties to fly out to Argentina. I sincerely believe Mr. Sanford has some real issues and needs to deal with them and not drag his party down. Also, someone who tells his office aids to use both sides of a ‘Post-it’ to save tax-payer money really looks bad when spending tax-payer money on Business Class seats when the law specifically states for lower costing tickets. So, what was Mr. Sanford action to these allegations? He initiated a probe into past governors to compare his spending and thus believes he is not liable for the charter jet services he used for both his trips through Europe and other trips on tax payers.

This guy is just a typical Republican politician. They all seem to have trouble with morals, ethics, and family values in addition to zipper trouble.

its unbelievable what law makers and politicians are doing today there just taking our money that we an our parents work hard every day for, for there own lives .im a student in high school and we talk about ethics in my law class and some thing you should automatically know what is right from wrong epically when your a leader in some type of way what he did was very wrong i believe he was just using his power thinking he will get away with it .ethics is simple doing what is morally right towards you and those around you and what he did was and is wrong

Sanford is such a very good man. He embodies all of the qualities us republicans believe in. He is dependable and great to his family. We love him for what an outstanding man, husband and father he is!

Answer (obviously):All were once the Golden Boys of the G.O.P.; and future Presidential hopefuls; who all were forced to resign because of ETHICS violations. You have to respect Spitzer for stepping down and admitting he was wrong. Sandford would be wise to do so also and take the wind out of the media's sails. You already missed the mark on John Edwards and his affair that produced a child and this whole story of Sanford is overplayed. Seems you will run anything as long as you do not need to focus on Obama and his lack of leadership skills or accomplishments.
