White House crashers named in 16 civil suits

Washington (CNN) - The Virginia couple accused of crashing President Obama's first White House state dinner on Tuesday are named in at least 16 different civil suits in Fauquier County, sometimes as plaintiffs, sometimes as defendants.

A trawl through court records on Thursday revealed a more complete picture of Tareq and Michaele Salahi, who have left an extensive paper trail in federal bankruptcy and state court filings.

The couple was spotted rubbing elbows with the likes of Vice President Joe Biden and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel at Tuesday's dinner, but the Secret Service says they were not invited.

A Secret Service checkpoint "did not follow proper procedures" to determine if the two were on the guest list, said Edwin M. Donovan, a Secret Service special agent, in a statement.

What will they be arrested for? Walking thru the front door like everyone else? Joe Biden sure looks happy posing with them.
I guess this is what Obama meant by transparency..........I wonder how they can blame Bush for their stupidity.

I cannot believe you people, you want the heads of these two, but you say it is okay for the murderers of 09/11/01 to be treated with "kid gloves." Who poses the greatest threat, these two or the ones going on trial in New York? If you people are going to call these two terrorists, what are you calling the ones going on trial in New York?

good they should be thrown in jail. The sad part was that the couple had a camera crew and makeup artist outside of the whitehouse prior to crashing the party. The secret service did not realize this. Unbelieveable.

Heads should roll at the Secret Service – lots of them. And this couple should be waterboarded at Gitmo.

This couple of crashers are a clear proof of the threat on Obama life. This is an inside job and a serious security matter. Obama's people should now have their eyes wide open, if don't wanna lose him as the democrats lost JFK. Just remember the slogan at the tea party, "Let's take back our country from Obama".
Don't take these old whites right wing lightly. They have deep control of the US security secret. They will rest until Obama will be eliminated as he is pushing for an agenda that will improve the little guy's life and stop the selfish interests of these GOPers crooks.
These right wings guys will do whatever in the power to kill Obama if the health care bill is passed and signed into law. Take my words seriously.
Therefore, all people who love peace should not stop praying God to protect Obama and his family.

To Expat American: I am not white trash. I work. I pay for your food, housing, clothing, car payment, and now your health insurance. You could be a bit kinder to me, after all, if I stop working, what in the world will you do?

I think what's even funnier, is former Apprentice Omarosa (You're Fired #*!%!") was being interviewed the next day because she was receiving text messages from the her "close" friends while they were crashing the the State Dinner. Niiiiiiiice!! Omarosa, Omarosa, Omarosa, still not getting into the white house, but you got close, with your criminal "close" friends. Misery loves company.

These two are losers, and the Secret Service should be kicking themselves today. But how about we report on the fact that the Obama administration just threw out about 1000 lobbyists? Or is that too much like real news, CNN?

Josefina.... Really? THOSE are your burning questions?

    1) Have you never asked someone walking by to take your picture, handed them your camera, and then smiled? Happens in Disney World every day.

    2) Digital cameras. Welcome to the 21st century, dear.

Lots of jail time is in order for these idiots and sociopaths. We must stop the lunacy that is incentivizing such outrageous behavior and make a few poster boys...

I'm sure those Secret Service personnel responsible for this will be properly punished/disciplined. They take their responsibilities very seriously – this was a human error and my guess is it won't happen again.

In the end they will be given government jobs. With talent like theirs for gaming the system the dems need them on board.

To everyone who thinks this breach of security somehow reflects on the whole of the Obama Administration, what's your take on the attempted assassination of President Reagan?

Shame, shame, on the Secret Service. I had more trouble getting into a private golf country club to attend a wedding because of security measures at the front gate.

Seems like the security of the previous administration was a little more efficient, but that was when we were so non-transparent and hated by the whole world!

Oh, Oh, I think you folks goofed! If your closets were cleaan, then you'd be qualified to represent Main Street at these affairs. Anytime the Obama's want to nominate me as a main Street Represnetative to one of these Jazzy affairs of the elites, I'll be brushing up on my Negotiating skill set! Whatever happenedd to Main Street at the table anyway? Guess we'd be considered "security breaches", too. Too many of us are too broke to live in homes, or eat, or pay for healthcare, or send kids to these high-priced centers of the next generations or...! I'm serious, I want a Main Street invite, Wall Street! As a Poet, I'll knock your $200 socks off! Thanks for your consideration in this matter of citizens getting to have a voice in how our country is run into the Ground! :o
