"If this would have happened to Bush, the liberals would have been making fun of the event and wanting the crashers to get off on the charges. Now since Obama is in office, the people are called low-class, racist, right-wing nutjobs who are doing this because the president is black."

Jeremy, you made all that up by yourself? Funny how people who post on these stories make up these quirky little scenarios and then proceed to comment on them as if they're fact. Racist, right wing nutjobs? Where did you read that?

Personally I think they should just thank these people for pointing out the security flaw and leave it at that. Holding a criminal investigation into these two shows nothing more than pettiness on being one upped and a desire to punish them for making security look bad. It's obvious they're a couple of insecure attention hounds who had their day in the spotlight. Time to drop it. It's a non-story.

Much ado about nothing. No one got past the metal detectors, bomb sniffing dogs, etc. with any weapons. The most this couple can be charged is illegal trespassing and seriously bad manners.

It isn't as if someone started a war with a nation that didn't attack us. THAT would be illegal, expensive, and terribly dangerous!

The Secret Service could not have paid enough money for a training like this one.

The got to review their faulty procedures or bad personnel and they did not loose a president in the process.

I agree that the crashers should have been charged had they been caught in fraganti but it would be very petty from the service to charge them now after no harm was done.

Stupid couple. Neither of them had a brain to advice the other of what not to do. Exactly like the balloon couple!

I am not impressed with the couple and have no interest in their publicity-celebrity hungry stunt. If they broke some laws here they should be punished. However, we should be ever so thankful that this couple's only interest was a mug shot with Joe Biden. We got a real, genuine test of presidential security on the cheap! Thank God that this couple had no "criminal" intent. The secret service should be thankful that this test exposed their failures in time to fix the problems before someone with real criminal intentions tries to get close to the president.

Don't be to hard on the couple. They were unwitting, foolish but very useful "beta" testers of presidential security. Maybe some other federal police agency should run these gate crasher tests on a random, but regular basis to keep the secret service on their toes.

Heads should roll those responsible for security.

    Bravo should be investigated.

The couple should be prosecuted and jailed.

Where was the true journalist and pundits that always ask questions??

Will this couple get unlimited media coverage and highlighted by the main stream media??

Is this all a set up to get us "ready" for when someone else "breaches" White House security, who is there for more than a photo op and free drinks?

And then the media and the talking heads will be able to say, "Well, it was BOUND to happen. Look how easy it was for that nice couple to get in."

    Trust no one, BHO !!!

This woman clearly got away with crashing the White House because she's a blond bombshell. We would not be having this conversation if she weren't attractive. I think the couple should be treated the same way as if they climbed over the White House fence–they should be ARRESTED. If the Secret Service doesn't do anything, it says to the world that an American president is vulnerable. That should NEVER happen.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this keeps coming up in the News. Or why people even care about it. The Feds should probe these people, and then throw them in jail IF they illegally breeched security, or, if they did not, then it's a dead issue. Let the Feds do their investigation and do their job. Then there is nothing more really to talk about.

Sure buckwheat (your name says it all, doesn't it?). The President is not the one checking invitations. He, and the whole country, expect the SS to do their job and do it right.
I am not sure why there have been so many security problems with this President. At least the few that we know of. You wonder how much goes on that we don't know about.
someone's head should roll and that couple needs to be fined and/or serve some time, and . . . . . I don't mean giving them some stupid show.

They obviously knew that the were not supposed to be there. They obviously knew that they were not invited. They obviously knew that if White House security knew who they were, they would have been frog-marched off the premises.

I think about five years of Saturday-Sunday community service pulling weeds and picking up trash would be appropriate. They can work for a living Monday through Friday. A sizable fine would also reduce the deficit a little.

These jerks should go to jail and be prosecuted for this security breach. It is very important that our nation and our leaders are secure. Stunts like this could encourage similar idiots to follow suits. And the Secret Service folks who messed up here definitely should be fired. Our national security should never be taken lightly.

THERE are no excuses about what happened and the people involved should be let go as was the person who let air force one do a scare /fly over in new york. and you know who else should be let go . the people who over seen that white house press room where the telepromter fell apart while the president was addressing the press. i believe that there are some loyalist to the republican party that are holdovers that are like "moles" ie; underminers that have sent the message that they can get to this prez....... this is inexcusable and stunning. and alot of poeple are upset.

chrage them with a felony? throw them in jail? wow! I'm assuming the people saying these things are the same people that would love every poor guy that takes a hit off a joint at a party to get thrown into our already over crowed prison system. I mean really what are you going to charge them with? trespassing? maybe , but it doesn't constitute serious jail time....OH BUT NEXT TIME NEXT TIME! next time the secret service will be more on top of these things due to this breech so if anything those screaming for a lynching should be praising this couple for exposing a major problem with the presidents security team....If you were a security officer at a bank and some guy came in and said I'm the vault inspector and I need to take one million dollars for testing and you believed him and let him walk you should get fired and I'm sure the people that let this couple in will face the music so stop crying already. their were multiple check points....so as my father always said fool me once shame on you fool me at eight check points im incapable of doing my job...sheez

The Secret Service and anyone else who dropped the ball should be more than embarrassed. A terrible breach of security and a real potential threal to all present, and mostly the President. This should be investigated thoroughly so it never happens again. Awful, just awful! Prosecute the couple but also punish thoise who allowed this to happen!!!
