Washington (CNN) – President Obama will announce the U.S. troop strategy for Afghanistan in a speech at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Wednesday.
In the speech, Obama will explain why the United States is in Afghanistan, its interests there and his decision-making process, Gibbs said, but "the president does not see this as an open-ended engagement.
"Our time there will be limited, and I think that's important for people to understand," he said.
I think we should involve india guys to Afganistan, well we fed them right...we need to stop worrying about Afganistan...and concentrate on Economy, and energy fix, and health care reform with public option.....Pres. obama, do not listen to these Republican thugs....they mislead you and nation....do not send any more troops to Afgaistan....pull back from Iraq...cut spending instead of giving dinners to these india guys...they are not trust worthy...cheats on taxes....all motels and Doctors offices need to be watched....stop immigration to these guys....fix health care...first then talk..
Straddling the fence is the game and gutless or seriously lacking in resolve and determination is the guy who can read but not lead! :(
First he'll blame Bush then send 34,000 troops.
Obama will probably announce that he is pulling out all of the troops.
It only makes sense.
