WH going 'on offense' as Senate health care debate begins

Washington (CNN) - The White House is "geared up to go on offense" on health care messaging this week, a White House official tells CNN.

As the Senate debate over health care reform gets underway, the administration is planning to "push back on the distortions and misinformation... being circulated by interest groups and opponents." The new offensive includes a video featuring Vice President Joe Biden and the presidents of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Family Physicians.

(Who do Americans trust more on health care reform, asks Biden in the video: doctors and nurses, or "special interests"?)

The video comes as White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer continued his string of tough November blog posts slamming opponents of President Obama's proposal with a holiday weekend salvo taking on one Washington Post columnist - with the White House pledging more of the same to come.

The fact that billions of dollars have been spent by the health care entities, special interests and the republicans to campaign against Health Care Reform proves this is what our country needs and wants.
We who realize the need for Health Care Reform, with Public Option must e mail, phone, write every politican they can demanding the represent us.
We can no longer allow or tolerate big business running, controlling our country making crucial decisions on our behalf.
We must take our country back and Health Care Reform with Public Option is the first, important step.

  2. All the news ths is fit to omit

Came out this weekend that the special interest groups that the fraud in chief whines about, VISITED the WH more than ever and they helped SHAPE the Health care bill. FACT.

Obama made a prior DEAL behind closed doors with BIG PHARMA, FACT.

More Doctors and nurses are against this bill than for it, as a matter of FACT Doctors are on record as saying they will QUIT if this passes. FACT.

58 percent of the Country is FOR Reform, FACT, but 58 percent are against THIS PARTICULAR BILL and only 36 percent for, again sheep, FACT.

They are not going to go on the offense they are going to slander and luie about anyone that tell sthe truth, so shep, feel free to forward this e-mail.

Less service, higher premiums, ILLEGALS, ABORTIONS and MANY taxes for people making less than $250,000 are among the lies in this bill.

Bottom line, they STILL won't come up with a number as to cost and how much more is going to be taken from my paycheck.
When they do look for National Guard to be deployed around the capitol and WH once the citizens turn out with the pitchforks and torches.

I would really like to know where some of you are getting your statistics. Rasmussen? What a joke.

And to those who say Biden is not a smart man: are you serious? He's only an EXPERT in foreign policy. Come on now.

What would Jesus do? Let people go without coverage because of money? How much money do you get to take with you when you die?

America needs and WANTS TOTAL reform. The system is broken, it is by every standard murder for profit. We must put the corrupt CEO's that profit from the murder of our parents and children out of work. No longer should we pay so much and get so little.

45000 murders per year should be ILLEGAL. But that is EXACTLY what the health care insurance companies are getting away with. PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!
