That kid was bold asking that question, but it's quite hard to tax prostitution.
The kid's got moxie, I'll give him that!
And Republicans should take note of how respectful he was of our President when addressing him – thanking him for his hard work on behalf of our country, using the salutation "Mr. Obama," and presenting his question in a respectful tone, even when he knew the President would disagree with his suggestions.
In many cultures, it makes sense to legalize or, at least, decriminalize gambling, prostitution and drugs because in those societies most people aren't obsessed with them.
E.g., in Spain slot machines are found in every bar, casino gambling is legal, prostitution is not greatly repressed, marijuana is decriminalized, and even alcohol isn't nearly the huge problem it is here.
The problems aren't gambling, prostitution, drugs or alcohol per se; humans have been gambling, visiting prostitutes, taking drugs and drinking alcohols for thousands of years.
The problem is US. We Americans seem to be singularly unable to handle these practices and substances. For us, neither legalizing or prohibiting will have a beneficial outcome.
Now, what would our president ever know about these horrible vices?
He's from Chicago.
Prostitution is legal in the Senate. Look no futher than the Senator from LA.
Wow: Our future....I'm sure his parents are proud.
This guys got my vote
Ask a Republican and they'd pass those suggestions in a heartbeat!
Now those are issues the GOP would buckup and vote for!!
I'll bet the Republicans would overwelmingly vote theses issues in....heck with healthcare and jobs!!
He asked the wrong person......should have asked Newt or Rove, those issues are big scores with the GOP!!
If lobbyists had enough money to throw at Republicans, they'd pass all of these within the week!!
Lol, think of all the taxable revinue that would be created. All that stuff Goes on anyways, for that there is no doubt.Lets add all the Tip money strippers really make to taxes too.
