I'm glad the crashers are being subpoenaed because they were just stupid. As far as the Social Secretary, I'm sure she has learned from this and there will be a person with a hard copy of the final invite list at every check point from now on.

Why would the House Homeland Security Committee vote to do this when we all know these 2 publicity hounds will plead the 5th? - and get more publicity.
The answer is to cover themselvs and give us the illusion that they're really on the ball.
Stop wasting OUR money and let the Secret Service work it out.

Good and I hope the decision to prosecute isn't far behind. This is not some kind of game. President Obama and Vice President Biden have to be protected at all times. Even at State Dinners...

yeah, skip over the incompetent Rodgers, and punish citizens who came to the party that WE paid for....With Obama's performance, he should have been served Spam on saltine crackers....Homeland Security? Napalitano's a huge joke....

Rogers dropped the ball, she is the one that needs to go. Instead of partying she should have been doing her job and watching the guest list.

White house social secretary Desiree Rogers was not assigned the task of signing of attendees as was done previously by the previous administrations and so any assertion by Republican whiners that she was some how to blame is invalid and anyone still making such assertions is deliberately lying.

It is a bit late to assert thier 5th Amendment rights after speaking in public about what happended.

I do not care if they intended No harm; these pranksters need be made an example of and they must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Everybody knows that a subpoena from the Democrats in congress doesn't mean ANYTHING.

Anybody remember the Strongly Worded Letters?

What a waste. Why can't I have some real progressive leadership?

Funny how they seem to want tio investigate this, but not why 3 Navy SEALS are being held for supposedly roughing up a terrorist they caught who killed a group of Americans. By the way, where is the suspeona for Desiree Rogers? Does being Obama's Chicago bud make her exempt?

Why are we wasting money doing this???now congress wants to be the police and FBI. Let the agencies do their job, butt out and do yours–after all your approval rating is in the can.

This is a start at figuring out why Vp Joe and the President partied with these people. The pictures I saw everybody was playing politics. They looked good there, her dress the best in party, hope they get signed pictures. The role of Social Secretary must be ceremonial only, no work involved, before, during or after. This White House is dysfunctional and lazy. It should be working for the citizens and spending less money.

The point is that they COULD have been terrorists. If what they did was acceptable, we could all do it. Since, for reasons of security, we all cannot... these camera seeker should be investigated to see why they felt they COULD.

This is a big deal. A message needs to be sent that this will not be tolerated. I'm just glad the Secret Service gets to be embarrassed by a couple of ordinary grifters and not by somebody with anthrax in her purse. Maybe they'll be more careful next time.

    Two words:

Why is this news? Yes, there was obviously a breach in secret service security.

Still, I ask, who really cares about these two people? They got in, got some pics taken with the bigwigs, and got out. CNN is making this out to be the biggest news story of the year.

Guess its a slow news week.
