(CNN) – Will South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford be watching Wednesday night when his wife Jenny sits down with Barbara Walters in her first television interview since her husband admitted to an extramarital affair in June?
The governor isn't saying.
Speaking to reporters in Charleston shortly after a House panel rejected an impeachment measure against him, the Republican was asked his thoughts on Jenny's TV appearance. He chose his words carefully.
"She has been real grace under fire," he said of his wife. "And I think she has made a lot people in this state and this country quite proud."
Pressed on whether he plans to watch, Sanford grinned.
"You will never know," he answered.

Mark Sanford should be imopeached for what he has done. The media should be talking about him and the other members of congress that have cheated on their wives instead of Tiger Woods. Tiger doesn't make our laws or control our money.

Your right about one thing, nobody knows what you'll do next. You need to be impeached but it seems you paid off the right people. The entire state population wants you gone but you continue to stay and bring down the state into the swamps and sewers of your party. Go away with the little speck of dignity left for the sake of the people, the state and the country.
Why would anyone want to do an interview with anyone and put their dirty laundry out there for all to see.

Sanford needs to resign and his wife needs to drop him like a wet noodle.

I just sat and watched the CNN interview with Al Gore. Mr. Gore made a dozen enormous false statement that went unchallenged.
CNN should insist on having a prominent scientist who doesn't accept Mr. Gore blatther be sitting with Mr. Gore next time. Mr. Gore needs to be challenged, but he refuses to interact with anyone who disagrees with his many false assertions.
No role models today, people in high places with no moral values. Its very sad that no one hold these people accountable for their actions. Especially elected officials.

everyone is talking about Tiger,now here is a real jerk. of course they will not impeach he's a repo. He does have a classy wife though . Her one flaw was being married to him. Well now he can go be with his bimbo. He will ask jesus to forgive him and the repos will eat it up.

I would imagine he will not watch. He will be thanking the state of South Carolina for not impeaching him...and dreaming of his "soulmate." So much for the Southerners standing up for family values... well they do unless they get caught. Didn't see a bunch of people from South Carolina telling their legislature that letting Sanford off the hook was not the right thing to do.

It is his business and no one else's. If people would take care of their own business and let everybody do the same this would be a better world.

I wonder if he is still carrying on the affair with his "soulmate," who was also his downfall. I predict that when his term is over that his wife will divorce him but the "soulmate" affair will have fizzled, so he's left with no one.
