Washington (CNN) – Outspoken Rep. Alan Grayson has a message for blunt-speaking former Vice President Dick Cheney: stop talking.
Responding to the former VP’s criticism of President Obama’s national security policy, including his decision to try accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in civilian court, the Florida Democrat lapsed into Web-speak.
“You know, on the internet there's an acronym that's used to apply to situations like this. It's called ‘STFU,’” Grayson said on MSNBC’s Hardball. “I don't think I can say that on the air, but I think you know what that means.” The letters are an acronym for “shut the f*** up.”
Cheney has been a vocal critic of the president’s policies, telling Fox News earlier this week that the extended decision-making process on Afghanistan “feeds into sort of the basic al Qaeda strategy” by fueling a sense of uncertainty on the future direction of U.S. involvement.

You're in politics, so you know how the games are played. Live with it or leave politics altogether. If the President is a Republican, he takes heat from the Democrats. If the President is a Democrat, he takes heat from the Republicans. This is America; or have you forgotten about the "Freedom of Speech." Worse yet, are you against Freedom of Speech?
Isn't it odd.. When the Republicans were in power, the Democrats criticized whenever they wanted. Now all they do is tell people to shut up. If you cannot stand the heat then get out of the kitchen

Does anyone remember when Mr. Cheney was in office how secretive and stonewalling he was? Anyone criticizing the decisions, management of their war policies was met with attacks of being unpatriotic, Un-American or being exposed as Mrs. Wilson was. Now that he is out of office he is a constant source of criticism. He would not serve in military when asked. Yet he is toughest guy in the world when his neck is not on the line. Considering the mess he left and the need to address it. I feel comfortable with a thoughtful, extended decision process that tests the possible solutions before we more foward with them. But Cheney held back from predicting who in his party is best positioned to take on the president come 2012.
"At this point I'd be reluctant to pinpoint anybody," he said. "It might hurt them more than it would help them coming from me."

Now, this guy's a sweet moral man, isn't he? I guess like more and more liberals are getting to be, he only likes free speech when it comes from him or his friends. Cheney is vocalizing against Obama's actions, as are half the population of the country, and I guess he forgets the wicked and childish name-calling (traitor, coward, etc.) that leading Dems applied to President Bush for many years.
