It's going to take many years to reverse out of law what this terrible congress is doing to our country. Americans will suffer for this, and it's just a big political joke so Obama can look good to the Europeans.

  3. Right wingnuts are as dumb as a woonsocket

The only hope for the worthless republicans in 2010 is that it doesn't pass. Teamed up with the health insurance industry and the neanderthals at Fox, the republican party has sold their soul to destroy Obama.

It will hold because the majority of America wants health care reform. The republicans are against it because the insurance companies money out them in office. They could care less about a guy working at McDonalds 32 hrs a week not having health care. They put party and greed over country. They are disgusting!!!!!!

The deal may hold but I'm not too sure how secure some of these senators seats are going to be next year. They should've never given up on the public option.

It appears that the millions of dollars the health insurance industry poured into commercials to keep from getting any form of competition has paid off. Now they can continue to raise premiums and kick people out if they get sick when they need insurance. I swear that republican stupidity is a pre-existing condition.

One item that needs to go is the jailing of Americans who refuse to buy into obamacare. How un-American is that?

It is a weatth transfer from honest hard working americans to the dope smoking, non working Oprah watchers, and the democrats have the majority in Congress, so of course it will hold and then there will be more. Liberals are determined to run our lives and transfer wealth to their dope smoking constituency. 2010 this congress will be replaced and then 2012 to replace the liar & thief in chief.

Been in the medical field over 40 years. Deep cuts into neuro and cardio from Medicare is certainly not the way to go. Those are the 2 areas that the senior citizens need most at their ages. Stop all this free care to Illegals like 20 million would certainly help. Or make deals with the countries that they are from and send them the bills. Don't know about the rest of you, but I cannot afford to pay for everyone else. Many people could afford some healthcare if they didn't need their 4 kids to have cellphones, TVs in every room, new cars and the list goes. Some people could care less about their health or who pays for it. Since they have the rest of us taking care of them anyway, why get your own.

We can hope and pray so. The Amercian Holocaust of the poor and uninsureable make it a moral imperative to pass this legislation. The Catholic Church is against it, so it must be the right thing to do.

  14. Randolph Carter, I'm no expert but...

Too bad our congress critters don't have the stones to pass single-payer healthcare. It would make our businesses that much more competitive and save everybody money in the long run. Unfortunately, most Americans are incapable of thinking long-term and will balk when the neoclowns whisper the word socialism in their oh so receptive ears. When this joke of a bill fails to bring costs down, maybe people will begin to wise up. Of course everyone will blame Obama. Have a nice day, consumerbots.

P.S. Buy made in USA this Christmas.

Great news article, way to focus on the debate amongst Democrats only and not show any opposition side to this proposed piece of legislation. And this is why Americans want news and not just bias.

Anything the Democrats conjure up will eventually lead to a government option and further demise of this country. They won't be happy until they have permanent control by redistribution. They know well that Communism enslaves all but the elite, and they are the elite in this country.

For sure there will be some kind of health care agreement since nobody wantsd to be the only critic to kill the bill. If there is then history will condemn whoever.

Nope, not in this form. Even if it does, it will be undone after 2010.
