Washington (CNN) - Computer technicians have recovered about 22 million Bush administration e-mails that the Bush White House had said were missing, two watchdog groups that sued over the documents announced Monday.
The e-mails date from 2003 to 2005, and had been "mislabeled and effectively lost," according to the National Security Archive, a research group based at George Washington University. But Melanie Sloan, executive director of the liberal-leaning Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), said it could be years before most of the e-mails are made public.
"The e-mails themselves are not what we're getting," Sloan said.
Even if there is nothing classified on those e-mails, it will be some time before they are release because of how quickly presidential files are distributed. Some of them take as little as 5 years after the end of the last term of that president. I don't know if a FOIA request will speed that up at all. It is curious that they were declared lost by the previous administration... Does make you wonder what it was all about.
The single biggest crime committed against this nation is climategate.
Let's face it, they've been hosing us for years on this, suckering billions out of our governments, and turning our children into eco-terrorists with their scare tactics about the "END OF THE WORLD". Right.
Let's see some of Gore's private emails. Lots more criminal activity going on there than in Bush's emails.
From the cover up King Barack....
He wont even let his social secretary talk.... yep that is transparency...
Cue Cheney (or Cheney Junior) to come out in protest of finding the "lost" emails.
Yes they knew are in trouble in 2010 & 2012 so they digged for any wrong doing of the last adminitration so they can still be in the game. I still say vote them all out and never let them have anymore chances again. Too much of the DRAMA!!!!!!!!.
