Washington (CNN) - Computer technicians have recovered about 22 million Bush administration e-mails that the Bush White House had said were missing, two watchdog groups that sued over the documents announced Monday.

The e-mails date from 2003 to 2005, and had been "mislabeled and effectively lost," according to the National Security Archive, a research group based at George Washington University. But Melanie Sloan, executive director of the liberal-leaning Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), said it could be years before most of the e-mails are made public.

"The e-mails themselves are not what we're getting," Sloan said.

Sounds like the Bush Admin and Dicky Cheney is kicking and screaming in the back ground. Since they thought they deleted all of their records of proof of there screw ups. Guess they fail destroying evidence of misconduct. Republican most likely will try to throw this investigation off tracks to keep their jobs and try to promote something to distract the public from trying to learn more about these emails. Most likely in one of those email it might have information about the Bush Admin leaking information about a undercover CIA Agent.

Every time Obama and the Dems get in trouble with the polls and public another "Bush and Cheney" thing pops up to get Obama off the hook. Someday "It's Bush's fault" is going to run out.

Bush White House's failure to install a properly working electronic record keeping system. Two federal laws require the White House to preserve its records , .........Now can anyone tell me that the Bush administration was not aware that they were suppose to have a working electronic records keeping system.......Sloan said the latest count of misplaced e-mails "gives us confirmation that the Bush administration lied when they said no e-mails were missing.......what do you republicans have to say now ? That were making this stuff up !

What a great waste of time!

As if a president can't fire prosecutors.

As long as the next admin can do this to Obama, I'm ok with it.

At least they are recovered. Mislabeled? Right! Sounds like they were "hidden". I hope the Justice Department will be able to go over them so these people can be held accountable.

Well, so the worms are coming out from the rotten wood. I guess some people in the former Bush administration are shaking in their boots. As well they should be. They don't have a president who will cover for them any more. I hope that justice will finally be done on some of the Bush era criminal activities.

A good portion will never be seen, due to national security concerns.

Maybe our president might gain some insight on how to LEAD and keep our country safe for 4 years. Bush did it for eight...it doesn't look like the current president will have that luxury.

He and the liberal house and senate took Bush's increases (granted during a wartime effort) and ran it through the roof.

Meet the new boss, worse than the old boss.

Wow Lots of Bush slaming going on. Yep he was such a bad pres that the oBama administration has changed nothing and is using the Bush playbook play by play but since its your "NEWSPAPER POSTERBOY" is the greatest pres ever? Obama has done nothing. Bush Said what he was gonna do and did what he said. Obama hasnt kept a campain promise. The only CHANGE I've seen is the Dollar in my wallet turn into 75 cents overnight.

  22. Good Ploy Obama

    Funny how this all works.

    Obamas approval rating is dropping.
Unemployment went higher than 8% like Obama said it would when he spent tons of our money to create or save jobs.
61% of Americans do not want the government involved with Health Care. Mainly a public option.
His OWN administration offcials can not agree if the recession is over, one said it was, another said it was not.
Obama sent troops overseas when he said he would not.

Soooooo, lets parade out all of the emails so we can distract everyone from the REAL problems of this country.
Ohhhh, and it gives us another reason the stand up and say,, blame Bush, it is not my fault. After a year in office, we will just bring out some more stuff so we can bash Bush and we can distract everyone from the crappy job Obama is doing.
