I am very proud of our beautiful president that has done an awesome job with the horrible hand he was dealt....It's a shame we couldn't see him at work with a better America because I am sure he would have been probably the best president ever. God bless him and his beautiful family.......

The Republicans have done everything to destroy President Obama in their attempts to obstruct progress and in doing so Republicans have forgotten that we the people won't forgive or foget them during elections.

So much has changed over the last year. I seem to forget how significant the election was but not legendary. He had a chance to showcase his stuff but in reality, not much has been done. Some laws were passed and O.K ones but the overall prospect, not so well.

There's a lot of time left, a whole lot of time. He has to get some things done that are significant and productive. It can't waste time like Health Care.

I had such faith in Obama. Why, why, why is the United States still squandering lives and badly needed treasure fighting a raggle-taggle of foreign fighters defending their countries that have been invaded and occupied by Americans????? Wouldn't Americans do exactly the same thing if thousands of foreigners arrived uninvited and tried to tell us how to live?????

Obama has done a horrible job and is the worst president in history. So many of you forget that the Democrats have been running the show since 2006 and the housing crisis was started by Democrats and continued by Democrats, especially Barney Frank who years ago refused to pull the reins in on Fannie and Freddie, Bush did nothing to stop them and went along with the Democrats. Obama is trying to continue the trend of giving loans to people who cannot afford them. Democrats are the destruction of American. While I am not a fan of Republicans either, they are the better choice for WORKING americans and until we have a viable third party.

Send Obama back to school to take a few business courses, since he doesn't understand basic math.

This guy has accepted zero responsibility for any of the damage that his spending spree has resulted in and will result in within the next few years. It is readily apparent that he was not ready for prime time and that the liberal media overexposed him as an anti-Bush and sold the American people a bag of door knobs named Barrack! I agree that he inherited a bag of economic trouble but he and his Administration's partisan politics and inexperience has done nothing except fill the bag fuller without any consideration for the detriment to the citizens of this free Nation. Riddle me this economists in the WH: If you borrowed money from China for TARP, lent it to banks without a higher rate of interest return, then how did you show a profit? Sounds to me like more ENRON finance bookkeeping...

One and Done for the good of the Nation!

Mr Obama has taken on interest on behalf of the american public, that republicans have been to cowardly to touch, quite frankly most all politicians are to cowardly to touch.

For this we thank the president for his courage, in spite of all of the hateful rhetoric spewed by the GOP.

The very essence of America is great since we have inaugurated Barack H. Obama as our 44th president. Republican nay-sayers can step aside ... because magic is happening in the Obama White House. I am so proud to be an American once again. WOW! Look what he has accomplished in 11 months ... he is an amazing individual who has been handed a lot of obstacles ... but he is taking them with stride and determined leadership. He and Joe Biden ... and his cabinet – especially Hillary Clinton, etc. - are doing incredible things during these extraordinary times. Obama is so deserving of everything...

At these most difficult of times we have been BLESSED with this hard-working, compassionate, intelligent President who is FOR the people NOT himself. At the same time our lack of appreciation for any of his efforts has been embarrassingly glaring, and the opposition (GOP) has been allowed too sink to a new low in their treatment of him, unchecked and unremarked upon by so-called Democrats. People in other countries are baffled by our disdain of him. I pray for him EVERY day. Who can go against the divine will of my God? No one.

    Dear Mr. President:

I did not vote for you, but I, a conservative Independent, have been very impressed by your health care reform principles and strategies. What bothers me the most is to see how Democrats have retreated from a single-payer government-run option to Medicare buy-in and now all's on the table is an insurance mandate, a terrific gift for the private insurers. You had promised to reform our health care without adding a dime to our deficits. I don't see how you can keep your promise without adopting a Public Option. Our Middle Class will only regress into welfare and Medicaid without a Public Option. It is a joke in the developed world that Americans are still bankrupt by medical bills in the 21st century.

I really hope you can be reelected in 2012, but I don't think it can happen if you fail to deliver a true health care reform by lowering health care costs and expand coverage. All the short-sighted Dems in the Senate will be replaced by either GOP or Independents next year. I doubt we will get another chance for health care reform for at least another 60 years. Both your mother and Senator Kennedy will be very disappointed in their graves.
Please think again! It takes great courage to do the right thing.

We are so fortunate to elect an intelligent problem solver as president.

Inhofe is a typical example of republican incompetence.

In the short time that President Obama has been in office, he has accomplished alot, mostly by preventing this Country from going over the cliff in this awful recession. Had he not been burdened with such overwhelming problems left over from the last administration, he would probably have been able to get a lot more done. But he has 7 years to go yet, and I have no doubt he will make a huge difference by 2016 and this country will be far better off because of him.

The worst part of this year has been the total lack of cooperation by the Republican party in restoring our nation they destroyed. They have done NOTHING but obstruct all positive programs to help America. All they have done is tell lies, spread hate, spread false fear, and support lunatic racist groups who are armed and dangerous and threaten our President and our government.

Republicans have been the worst part of 2009 and they will pay a huge price fo betraying American in the elections of 2010 and 2012. The do-nothings and traitors will find themselves removed from public office for good. They are the Past and still clueless on how far out of touch they are with real Americans.
