You have your debts and deficits mixed up there is a big difference; if it was that high Bush would have been assassinated. Furthermore the TARP fund stopped the freefall not the new spending. The stimulus is probably only about 50% spent by now. Yes yes yes, Bush spent a lot more than he should have and it is very disturbing to see someone triple that number in less than a year.

Why does the CNN poll of polls always leave out so many major polls. I believe the CNN poll of polls included just 6 polls with an averavge Obama approval of 50%. I check realclearpolitics everyday for it's poll of polls. Right now it includes 15 major polls with a poll of polls average approval for Obama of 49.3%. A total of 8 of the polls have Obama below 50% and 4 right at 50% with just 3 above 50%. CNN appears to cherry pick the polls to the result they want.

3. The program to help those in foreclosure trouble has helped on 4% of those needing it.
4. Unemployemet when Obama came in was less than 8%, now it's 10%. How is that down?
5. TARP, passed under Bush saved us from collapse. The Obama stimulus has done NOTHING.
6. Very dramatic, but 85% of Americans are happy with their health care and don't want their taxes to go up to help the illegal aliens and welfare queens too lazy to work.
7.If caring more for the 'rights' of terrorists than American lives is your idea of acting 'legally' then something is very wrong.

What more could you ask from a first year president.

Unemployment goes down by a tenth of a point in a month when people are hiring Christmas help, and look at the number of people saying unemployment is going down...IT'S STILL ABOVE 8%, hell, it's even still ABOVE 10%! That stimulus is working about as well as that HOPE and CHANGE!

That's all he knows, talk, none of which leads to anything positive. To blame everything on what he "inherited" is also disingenuous. He campaigned long and hard to get that inheritance, ensuring everyone that he had the answers. So far he's just made matters worse because he's in way over his head.

The President needs to step up and go back into an aggressive campaign mode to get this Health Care bill passed. He has spent his political capitol and the American people that sent him to the White House are getting nothing.
Joe Lieberman might be the last hold out and the last hope for the Insurance Companies and the Pharma industry.

You need to get the job done with either a public option or the Medicare buy in for younger ages. GIVE SOMETHING TO THE PEOPLE

In the face of the all the economic problems in play for the US – why focus on healthcare and "cap and trade?" The American public is 61% against the healthcare bill and he has Senate meeting on Christmas eve to pass it?! Newsflash for the President and anyone else who doesn't understand: 61% is a landslide! You are forcing Americans to accept a bill they don't want as a Christmas present. Oh wait, this White House doesn't send out "Christmas" greetings. This is our unwanted "Holiday" present. Thanks – just be make sure you include the receipt. Because as soon as your minions are voted out of office – we're returning this thoughtless crap holiday present.
