(CNN)– In a late night posting on her Twitter feed, Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin continued to blast climate change believers Friday, calling the talks in Copenhagen, Denmark a representation of man's "arrogance," for believing people have an impact on nature.
"Arrogant&Naive2say man overpwers nature," Palin tweeted.
"Earth saw clmate chnge4 ions;will cont 2 c chnges.R duty2responsbly devlop resorces4humankind/not pollute&destroy;but cant alter naturl chng," the former Republican vice presidential nominee wrote.
Palin's latest comments come after weeks of tangling over climate change with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, former vice president Al Gore, and President Obama.
In an op-ed in the Washington Post, Palin urged the president to boycott the climate talks, calling his presence at the conference a "political move."
"The last thing America needs is misguided legislation that will raise taxes and cost jobs – particularly when the push for such legislation rests on agenda-driven science," Palin wrote. "Without trustworthy science and with so much at stake, Americans should be wary about what comes out of this politicized conference. The president should boycott Copenhagen."
When Schwarzenegger questioned Palin's stance on climate change, Palin quickly hit back saying the actor-turned-governor was acting "greener than thou."
And when former vice president Al Gore dubbed her a climate change "denier," Palin hit back at him too, accusing him of promoting "doomsday scenarios."
"Climate change is like gravity – a naturally occurring phenomenon that existed long before, and will exist long after, any governmental attempts to affect it," Palin wrote on her Facebook page.
During the vice presidential debate last year, Palin said she was for capping carbon emissions but did not elaborate on how she would do that.

And the economy wouldn't suffer by fighting climate change. On the contrary, Germany has PROVEN that an economy can THRIVE by tackling the problem.

Sarah Palin needs some serious education in science. First of all, let's have a discussion on a mature level. There are many expert scientists who have studied geology, environmental studies, chemistry and so forth and they know very well how the earth is changing, not only from natural causes, but also from the impacts of human activities on the planet. Science proves with studies and statistics the way the planet has evolved over time too. Second, God's intentions were not to stay niave to science, honey. God isn't about "religion" either; He gave us a message right there in the Bible, honey, that is, to "subdue to earth" (Genesis) Since God is all knowing and the Creator, therefore, it is our job as his children to learn about how he brought this earth about by the study of science. God did not create religion, mankind did. He never even mentioned "religion" in his messages. He commands us to subdue the earth, so let the current concerns for our environment be taken seriously, Sarah Palin. Many scientists, including political scientists, are concerned about our planet, and that is why political policies are so important for this to pass NOW, not tomorrow, not another 8 years from now. Pres. Obama is taking this Climate issue seriously, while you are not. This is a very good reason for most of us NOT to vote for you. Honey, you need to go back to college, get an education in environment science, biology, chemistry and geology to really understand what's going on. What is the global climate change debate all about? Is the alleged scientific consensus that the climate is changing or that man is the primary reason for that change? I don’t think anyone would argue that in fact the climate is changing. You might not even get much disagreement that we are currently experiencing a warming trend. But to say that the scientific data proves that mankind is the cause of this change is sheer folly and any scientist who claims he has data to support the theory that man is changing the climate is a liar. There is no way to prove this theory. I repeat it is NOT POSSIBLE to prove that anthropogenic activities are impacting the climate. To do so, you need to first establish a baseline – the average global temperature without man’s presence. I am not suggesting that you compare the global temperature from some period of time prior to the industrial revolution, as that is not a valid comparison. I am saying the theory can only be proven by comparing the global temperature today with the global temperature today if man was not present. This cannot be done. During the Medieval Warm Period (10-14th Centuries), the Earth was warmer than it is now. Was that the result of man’s activities or natural climate change?
The Earth is a dynamic system, always changing based on many factors, such as the randomness of solar output from the Sun. There are undoubtedly complex interactions that modern science knows nothing about. We cannot for instance reliably predict the weather forecast for the weekend, yet scientists claim they can estimate with certainty the global temperature of the Earth in 2015 using scientific models based on past data. What the models presume is that the climate is static, but it is not. The climate is ever-changing. As any stockbroker will tell you, past performance is not indicative of the future. Let’s presume for a moment that the Earth is in fact warming. Using our models we then extrapolate the future temperature. But what happens to those predictions when the unpredictable happens. What if a major volcanic eruption were to occur or if a country were to detonate a nuclear weapon? Global warming could suddenly and unpredictably become serious global cooling in a very short time frame. No one can predict the future.
The planet has been warming since the last glacial period some 20,000 years ago. I would conjecture that this was not the result of man’s activities. So I ask: “How can scientists suddenly come to the consensus that the recent warming is because of man?” I might point out that consensus and truth are not synonymous. Let me remind you that there was a time when, not just the scientific community, but the whole world believed that the Earth was flat. There was also a consensus that the Earth was the center of the universe. As science evolved and new information became available, these scientific facts were proven to be false.
Lastly, I want to point out that scientific research is frequently influenced by research funding. I suspect there is not much research money available to those whose research is geared towards disproving global warming. So scientists focus on research that can be used to show the planet is warming. Frequently the same data can be interpreted in two diametrically opposed ways. A given set of data, for instance, depending on how it is presented can be used to support global warming or refute it.
So I ask you to think before you speak; to evaluate all the data at hand objectively; and not to let your opinion of the truth skew the scientific data. When future generations view your position, will you be viewed as one of the majority that criticized Galileo or Christopher Columbus?

As the evidence for rapid climate change has mounted, the argument of drones like Palin has shifted from "the climate isn't really changing" to "okay, so maybe it really is changing, but it can't be man-made, and NATURAL change is just completely fine and dandy." This is preposterous. If they really believe that climactic disruption is natural and hence inevitable, then why aren't they arguing passionately that it's time to start building dikes and levees around our coastal regions and retraining farmers in Nebraska for the coming date-palm-based economy? Why is doing nothing the only path they ever advocate?
These are not rhetorical questions; this really baffles me. How stupid is this woman? How can she question things she has no ability to understand. Her ignorance never stops amazing me. Do people really believe what she says or do they simply enjoy the entertainment. If sane republicans allow her to be nominated they deserve to stay in the minority forever. You know, everytime someone says they don't believe in global warming, they are attacked for being stupid and uniformed. I've not seen a single post from any of the enlighten and intelligent believers addressing the fact that the earth has actually cooled in each of the last 7 years. And in those last 7 years, we've done nothing to stop global warming. I understand I will be attacked as a moron for this post, but if you could at least provide a logical arguement to the above FACT, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
When is CNN going to start being a news organization and stop being the P.R. department for the Democrats and Climate Changers?
Real journalists report on all sides of an issue with equal reverence. These guys do great stories for climate change fanatics and then do condescending pieces like this for the skeptic viewpoint and call it equal time.
Why isn't this a serious story about the legitimate science behind the belief that the "theory of climate change" (and it is just a theory) is incorrect?
When all the climate change emails came out showing serious credibility issues on the part of researchers, CNN and other hypocrytical "news" organizations totally ignored the implications and refused to investigate. It wasn't until a month later they decided to run a story that - surprise - defended the emails as nothing more than unprofessional conduct that had no effect on reports. They argue this even though the emails specifically said they were using "tricks" to change data so it would fit their intended conclusion and silencing fellow scientists that found evidence to the contrary.
The fact is that there are thousands of scientists that have written papers and expressed their views that the evidence on this issue is far from conclusive, or totally false. Yelling from the mountain tops that this issue is universally accepted and undeniable does not make it so – neither does blacklisting scientists or refusing to print their evidence and views.
The thousands of scientists that offer proof that this theory is false are not sponsored by the United Nations. Even so, their views and evidence are no less valid.
They can't all have a political agenda behind their disbelief any more than all the scientists promoting this can. That fact alone should warrant a re-examination of the evidence backing up climate change. But that's not possible either as large amounts of their raw data has been erased or is proprietary (in other words, we can look but you can't - Just trust us and hand over your money).
There is evidence that this theory is incorrect. Should we be expected to sacrifice our economy and give away huge amounts of money to other countries because climate changers want to be right at any cost?
The media's job is to inform the public, not persuade the public. CNN should go back to reporting the news and leave the preconceived conclusions to the climate changers.
