Palin continues to blast climate change believers

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin continued to blast believers in climate change Friday.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin continued to blast believers in climate change Friday.

(CNN)– In a late night posting on her Twitter feed, Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin continued to blast climate change believers Friday, calling the talks in Copenhagen, Denmark a representation of man's "arrogance," for believing people have an impact on nature.

"Arrogant&Naive2say man overpwers nature," Palin tweeted.

"Earth saw clmate chnge4 ions;will cont 2 c chnges.R duty2responsbly devlop resorces4humankind/not pollute&destroy;but cant alter naturl chng," the former Republican vice presidential nominee wrote.

Palin's latest comments come after weeks of tangling over climate change with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, former vice president Al Gore, and President Obama.

In an op-ed in the Washington Post, Palin urged the president to boycott the climate talks, calling his presence at the conference a "political move."

"The last thing America needs is misguided legislation that will raise taxes and cost jobs – particularly when the push for such legislation rests on agenda-driven science," Palin wrote. "Without trustworthy science and with so much at stake, Americans should be wary about what comes out of this politicized conference. The president should boycott Copenhagen."

When Schwarzenegger questioned Palin's stance on climate change, Palin quickly hit back saying the actor-turned-governor was acting "greener than thou."

And when former vice president Al Gore dubbed her a climate change "denier," Palin hit back at him too, accusing him of promoting "doomsday scenarios."

"Climate change is like gravity – a naturally occurring phenomenon that existed long before, and will exist long after, any governmental attempts to affect it," Palin wrote on her Facebook page.

During the vice presidential debate last year, Palin said she was for capping carbon emissions but did not elaborate on how she would do that.

Palin's right, global warming is a money making hoax. Man can no sooner control the weather or the climate. Now that she has gored the sacred cow that the left worships, they are howling louder than ever. Let em howl. Go Sarah Go, all the way to the White Houe in 2012.

"Ions"? Sarah, try "eons". Then again, during the campaign you said there are fossil dinosaur prints with human footprints in them, and that the Earth is 6,000 years old. Since you read "all" newspapers and magazines, try mastering junior high spelling and science literacy. My vicarious embarassment for you is painful.

This retard does not even know the difference between the words "ion" and "eon" – why are people even still paying attention to her?

We've been seeing climate change for ions? What on earth does that mean. What a silly, ridiculous lady. Please stop reporting on her, she's an idiot.

By the size of her family....she should stick to what she knows best, and try and achieve a future in Porn...and stay out of politics! Use her mouth for something productive for a change...then I'll start to pay attention to her. She QUIT as governor of her state…and there are people that still listen to everything she says.

Quitters never win, and winners never quit. I'll bet she still thinks the Earth is flat too!

    Beauty does not= intelligence

    Wealth does not= intelligence

Palin does not= anything, anywhere remotely near the slightest possible attempt at rational thought...what so ever!

She’s cute…that’s it. Nothing more…nothing less. The GOP really needs to stop thinking their political savior is going to be attractive…and start working on following someone with a brain in their head for a change. But then…as if it mattered in the first place…you really need to look at the intelligence of her mindless followers.

She’s one TWEET away from being her own “Heavens Gate Cult” as it is. But then again…so is Ashton Kutcher, or even Arnold Swartzenager for that matter. It’s all political theater….she just needs to stop writing her own lines.

So, Palin believes she knows more than the leading scientists of the world!?? Right.... way to go Sarah! Not... Totally unqualified to be a candidate for President. How can anyone even consider a person for the presidency who doesn't listen to experts to make informed decisions?? I would say she is arrogant in thinking she knows more than the experts... No way will I vote for such a person!!! That's for sure...

    "Arrogant&Naive2say man overpwers nature,"

This is so profound–how could I have been so wrong?

The Carrier Pigeon, the Ivory Billed Woodpecker and the Western Black Rhinoceros will all be so glad to learn that Sarah thinks man had nothing to do with their extinction.

Hey, Sarah! While you're on a roll, how about settling this whole earth is flat/earth is round thing ? ? ?

The only thing more stupid than Sarah Palin (ions instead of eons??? really???) is CNNs fascintion with her. Tell me CNN, exactly how do you differ from the grocery store tabloids? If this woman lives for ions, CNN will be right there to cover her for ions.

" If it's so real why are Obama and Gore still using their private jets like personnel toys?????"

    Hello, Sarah?
Even former President Bush league realized after a couple of years of denial that the climate is changing due to human influence. Not that he did anything about it.....
So, how is that you're smarter about this than anyone else? I'd sure like to know.

ib – Palin is so right on this. Global warming is one of the biggest farces that has ever been invented. People should not have to lose their jobs over an unproven theory. If it's so real why are Obama and Gore still using their private jets like personnel toys?????

I think you should shut off your X-box and start living in reality.

southern cousin – Another Palin story, libertards fire away with your hate. If CNN would be fair they would do a story about Rangel and the year and a half investigation, Pelosi is supposed to be conducting. She must be to busy stealing the money from taxpayers and sucking the life and hope from the country, to do her duty.

And the story about Rangel and Pelosi have WHAT to do about Palin's moronic thoughts about global warming? From reading your past posts I can see that your thought process is a bit off.

She will keep saying stupid things because it keeps her in the news, just like Rush. We seem to like negative things that make US feel better.. It feels like we living in a modern day "civil verbal war" between "The mouths" (of negativity and hatred), but, the biggest mouths seem to DO the less, quit and build bridges to nowhere. If you are doing things to make things better, you will have very little time to talk about what's wrong, but I guess misery loves company, and while most of the supporters and followers of negative people may be struggling economically and are in the blame stage, the MOUTHS are getting richer and richer. Their advice, get mad and support my bank account. My point, grow up, get a grip and DO something positive about YOUR life and you won't have time to listen to idiots, no matter who they are.

I'm sure all the species that are now extinct due to habitat destruction will now breath a sigh of relief, since Sarah says man can's affect nature.

The earth saw the climate change 4 ions?

So, both the earth and the climate are now sentient beings capable of observing and effecting objects around them? Why only 4 ions? This woman is fascinating.
