The 'No" was a call of the conscience – the gut response.

Who would vote for fining or maybe jailing Americans for not buying health insurance which they cannot afford?
Who would vote for making Insurance Cos get fatter & Americans go bankrupt paying their medical bills?

Who would vote for dropping Public Option, the only ray of hope for Americans to buy affordable insurance?

Who would vote for dropping expansion of Medicare to aging Americans of 55yrs ?
Who would vote for slashing Medicare budget?
Who would vote for dropping import of inexpensive medicines for Americans?

    Answer, anyone??

It's almost like hearing a child say no too many times, you soon figure out that no means yes. So Reid stay away from those childish Republicans.

A Classic Freudian slip. Or maybe there IS a God trying to get through to him!
I wish folks could see how government involvement in defining and paying for our once free choices in healthcare with dollars they extract at will from our pockets and from the printing press plays out.

Immigrants from communist countries are bitter and alarmed. They say "I came to America to escape Communism and it is following me!" They are making a way for themselves in this traditionally free society with hard work and excitement over the promise of an open playing field. Still there groups of Americans being driven to separation from the American freedom to grow & achieve by community organizers and wrong way media, fomenting for resentments and long corrected issues of slavery. Entitlement leads to slavery, folks! Get up and make your way! The water's fine! Giving up CHOICE for HOPE is a terrible way to end the American Dream!

Wow, for an instant I thought Reid was going to side with the majority of the American people and reject this bill.

So much for the "shining city on the hill". This current race to grow both the power and size of the Government is unprecedented. The American landscape is going to change dramatically as we continue to fund the engorgement of "the unproductive" (the Govt.), at the same time increasing the taxes on "the productive" (the private sector).

What does this tell us? Maybe he does understand this bill is not about helping the people of the US but all about power.

I am no longer surprised by the ridiculous nature of our so-called "leaders". This is just another indication that these people are in another level of disassociation from the reality the general public has to deal with. I would describe it as pathetic but I am no longer capable of rationale observations concerning these so-called public servants.

"...Preserve, Protect and Defend, the Constitution of the United States, so help me God." This is their Oath. "We the People", Our Freedoms and this "Representative" Government, is embodied in this Oath.

Congress is NOT "representing" the will and wishes of the American people. Therefor, the "People" should issue "Citizen's Arrest...", of ANY Senator who votes for this fraudulant healthcare bill stuffed with vote payoffs!! It's shameful that just recently, the Democrats accused Republicans when they were in power, of the same tactics!! This may be our last resort. ARREST THEM ALL!!! You ALL are the United States Constitution's biggest threat!

For better or worse, most likely worse, this bill will forever be called the DEMOCRATIC health care bill. Such a monstrously big big bill that affects 1/5 of the nations economy and not one Republican vote. Here's what some people don't realize. If three Republicans had voted for the bill, then I bet three so-called Moderate Democrats would have voted against the bill. There were several moderate Democrats in the house who were "allowed" to vote against the bill simply because their votes were not required.

Deep down inside this is how he really feels. Additionally, it is bad policy to let old people make legislation that they will not experience or pay for. You see now what kind of scatterbrain fossil wrote this reform.
