these maniacs bent upon making life difficult for everyone are the product of today's violent world. They have no religion they massacre Muslims & non-Muslims alike in the name of the demonic brand of faith which is in fact political agenda of their masters.
They are recruited mostly from poverty stricken , war torn regions by hatred spewing self proclaimed preachers who want the spread of hatred between cultures to serve their own purposes.
They have to be fought on multiple fronts- alleviation of poverty, education & tough action where needed. We have to work together with the govts around the world who are dealing with this menace of militancy.
And of course the sooner we wind up our mission in Iraq & Afghanistan & return, the less opportunity for them to exploit young minds in those regions & spread the hatred.

Really? He's acting like a president. But when is the next big speech, when will we learn it was George Bush's fault, when will he tell us that it's not really a muslim terrorist, could this cause health care legislation to be stalled in congress. After all, health care is way more important than terrorism and war.

Why is it that he announces this is a "terrorist", but the one that mowed down our heroes at Ft. Hood was not? Only difference I see is that one happened on a military base. It was a good photo op for him, too.

  8. Why is Obama in Hawaii.....

when there is an important terrorist threat like this? Consider this one may only have been a diversion for the real thing. Obama was here for his socialist healthcare agenda but not for terrorist threats. What's up with that?

I hope this is the wake up call for the WH. I hope BO realizes that his "lets all hug" approach to foreign policy is not working and will not work!

There are people in this world that want to harm us. And, he just wants to bow and apologize.

WHY IS ED HENRY IN HAWAII REPORTING ON THE PRESIDENT?

It is common knowledge Ed Henry can't report news regarding President Obama without slanting the story; or leaving significant components of the story out; or just twisting facts to hype or create controversy.

Secondly, use Suzanne Malveaux for Obama's future vacation reporting because she is a more credible and trusted reporter. Also, tell Ed not to wear those red shorts. Jack Cafferty has more appealing legs in shorts than does Ed.

What terror news? I don't see this as terror, it's some poor misguided sole who became bitter because of the things the United States has done. Obama should go and talk to him to apologize and ask him not to do it again.

And who said it was alleged terrorism? No one authorized to speak for the white house would ever make such an allegation. Make sure you check with the WH before you use such loaded terms.

Muslims attack the World Trade Center, all Americans are subjected to The Patriot Laws which ok wiretaps on all routine American domestic phone and cell calls.

Muslim tries a shoe bomb to blow up a jetliner, all Americans are subject to removing their shoes and socks for screening prior to flying.

Muslims tries a liquid drink bomb to blow up a jetliner, all Americans are subject to having their drinks and liquids confiscated prior to flying.

Muslim tries a butt bomb to blow up a jetliner, all Americans are subject to disrobing and having a full body cavity search?

How do you feel about having closed circuit cameras in each of the jetliner bathrooms to see if a Muslim is mixing explosives inside it.

This isn't a war against Al-Qaida, it is a War against all of the American People!

If you see any Muslim Name on a name-tag and they appear nervous or heavily perspiring, report them as a suspicious person.

Commuters need to report Muslims if they appear to be involved in any suspicious behavior.

So the fire started on the plane, that is good enough for the neo-cons to now claim a terrorist attack on US soil. 9/11 doesn't count because it was the first attack (the trade center bombings were something else although clinton was to blame for that)

First time ever I heard the White House jump that quick to say that an incident was a terrorist attack. It has a little trace of terrorism in it, but not enough for me to say it was for certainty a terrorist attack. Now if he would have tried to lit it up over the ocean, it would have been a different story. I believe the White House jumped in that conclusion so quick because the man is black. Maybe another summit at the White House is in the making, this one will call "The Fire Cracker Summit".

A special place awaits all you Obama Haters. It's called George Bush's Tora Bora America. Oh, by the way. Before you accuse the Pres. of being soft on terrorism, you might want to talk to the families of the 60 Al Qaeda operatives we just wacked in Yemen.

Bush sat on his butt in Texas while hundreds were actually dying in New Orleans and did nothing. The Repubs dare to even question this president?
