HONOLULU, Hawaii (CNN) - The child of one of President Barack Obama's golf partners suffered a cut chin during the president's Hawaiian vacation Monday, prompting a stir when Obama quickly left the course so his partner could attend to the child.
The president and his entourage quickly left the Luana Hills golf course outside Honolulu and an ambulance was called to the vacation home the first family has rented on the north side of Oahu. A White House aide told CNN that the child who was hurt was treated on the scene, but could go to a hospital later as a precaution.
Neither Obama's golf partner nor the child were identified. Aides said no member of the first family was hurt in the incident, details of which were not immediately available.
The president later returned to the course.

Who cares?
Can the media just focus on real news and leave the President and his family alone? This is intrusive and shows that the media is lacking in knowing how to ferret out real news.

Glad the child is fine....but why did this make the news? Is their something more going on...like a call from Iran or somewhere?
Obama stops everything for his friend.............but won't stop his pleasure trip to do the job we hired him to, dithers on Afghanistan and keeps on playing while there are terrorist attacks............gotta love this mans priorities, pleasure over work........but then anyone who was paying attention knew that just by reviewing his voting record, or lack of voting record.

Ihope the child is ok but have to comment on comments. Are you kidding me? I realize he's the POTUS but he is still a husband,father and a US citizen who should get a few days off a year to golf or sit and watch TV!
Obama deserves a vacation after pulling together sweeping health care reform, slowing the economic crisis and really thinking through the war in Afghanistan among other things. Hope he and the first family have a great time!
The president rushes off the golf course for a cut chin but doesn't bother coming back to D.C. when his country faces a potential terror attack. I've realized I made a huge mistake when I cast my vote last year.
The most useless President ever!! He has done nothing to prove any major change to America or the safety of American people!!
