HONOLULU, Hawaii (CNN) - The child of one of President Barack Obama's golf partners suffered a cut chin during the president's Hawaiian vacation Monday, prompting a stir when Obama quickly left the course so his partner could attend to the child.
The president and his entourage quickly left the Luana Hills golf course outside Honolulu and an ambulance was called to the vacation home the first family has rented on the north side of Oahu. A White House aide told CNN that the child who was hurt was treated on the scene, but could go to a hospital later as a precaution.
Neither Obama's golf partner nor the child were identified. Aides said no member of the first family was hurt in the incident, details of which were not immediately available.
The president later returned to the course.

Why would CNN publishes a story about a child who sufers a cut on the chin while vacationing in Hawaii? This is crazy!
My prayers goes Obamas friend child's family and the rests who were in the scene too for their safety.
Everyone has to keep in mind that kids will be kids no big deal folks. I can't imagine living under such intense scruitiny.
For "Scared, Unemployed American: President spent a 1/3 of his Presidency on vacation. 9/11 happened on his watch along with the financial crisis......High unemployment causes should be directed toward "his administration".. President Obama has a hell of a mess to try and clean up thanks to President Bush....he deserves some time off. BTW, all U.S. Presidents may be on vacation, at times, but they are never far from the communicating with their advisors or the nation.
Ok CNN...get some real news......leave them alone....they deserve a little privacy.... You guys have really begun to look more and more like FOX.

In the real world, you typically only earn 5 – 10 days in the first year you are on the job. Maybe this should apply to all elected officials, including federal, state and municipal employees.

who cares? a planeload of people were almost blown to bits if not for the heroism of an American passenger and a fluff piece is written about one of Obama's golf buddies getting a cut? I am sure the idiot in chief was more concerned about that than a mere terrorist attack on the US.
I wonder if President Obama will shave tomorrow morning. I'll tune in tomorrow and maybe CNN will have reported this intriguing bit of information. I can't be the only one that wants to know.....
Why is this even news?
Whether you agree with the guy or not, anybody deserves a bit of vacation to recuperate and rest. No one can go 24/7 full-on in any job (much less 'leader of the free world') and not have some sort of down time. This news event, as well as the continuation of various world events, just shows how difficult getting downtime really is. The man has been on the job since January without a real break. He hasn't been spending 30 or 40 days, 3 to 4 times a year, at any Illinois ranch unlike like the Bushes always did at Crawford Texas.
So those who criticize, let's see you go live in the White House, under constant scrutiny and attention, and make quick management decisions that involve life, death, safety, finance, you-name-it. Decisions that impacts everyone, and do it 20 hours a day, non-stop for a year, essentially being the CEO of a company with thousands of people working under you in the federal government. If you can do better, or even survive the stress, then run for the office. Otherwise, shut up and let the man have a small bit of rest.

Much Ado About Nothing. Seriously CNN and all other media outlets stalking the first family...please focus on real news worthy issues around the world. You are constantly after this president more than you were with previous presidents. Had you (CNN and the rest) paid any attention to the previous president and his administration, you would have uncovered a lot of the current mess in the making.
