(CNN) – Famed White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi are going from party crashers to guests of honor.
"President Obama's most unexpected guests" are slated to headline a party at Caesar's Palace nightclub on January 16, according to the event organizer's Web site.
The pair are reportedly being paid $5,000 total for the appearance, according to the New York Post. A spokesman for the event could not be reached to confirm that number.

Here we go. We all knew at some point their bad behavior was going to be rewarded. This only inspires other idiots who want $$ or 15 minutes of fame to do the next outlandish prank. How sad.

Caesars is condoning the breaking of the law by paying these people to host a party. Why not just pay John Walker Lindh to host a party also? I will never again go to Caesars. The Salahis should be prosecuted for what they did not feted.

This entire story has been politically hyped to the point of ridiculous. If anyone followed the full information about what occurred, they would know that this couple did not "crash" the party but had very good reason to believe that they were going to be on the guest list. They misunderstood last minute information from someone who was attempting to get them into at least one of several events.
However, we no longer care about truth, justice or the American way. All we get anymore is politics, politics, politics. Twist, distort, accuse, blame...blah, blah, blah. The 24 hour news cycle will eventually destroy us all. God help us!
And their next step the reality show they wanted. lol ..only in America..

How many of us clairvoyantly pointed out that these two would end up cashing in from their WH crashing experience? Tons of us. There's no shame left in this world, and apparently people who do wrong if they are the right shade can get away with things that the average person would be serving time for, AND they get to cash in on their wrongdoing to boot. One can only hope that with the money they are making off of their little 'escapade' they will pay off their debtors and stop handing out fake Rolexs/Pateks watches.
