The Salahis are booked to headline a party in Vegas.

(CNN) – Famed White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi are going from party crashers to guests of honor.

"President Obama's most unexpected guests" are slated to headline a party at Caesar's Palace nightclub on January 16, according to the event organizer's Web site.

The pair are reportedly being paid $5,000 total for the appearance, according to the New York Post. A spokesman for the event could not be reached to confirm that number.

Just a minute ago so many were getting ready to prosecuten these two as domestic party crashers! One used to have to do, invent, create, act in major ways for humanity to get recognized with fame, publicity, and good fortune. Now all you need to do is a great stunt. Great going, Bush, Cheney, Obama, Congress and the corporate war crew: The media is so busy getting into the Act they forgot that doing For and To are different stories. When is Main Street gonna get to crash this Party? Peace

Who cares? And anyone who would attend such an event is as vile and dim-witted as that pair. Birds of a feather...

They truly are pond scum. Their fame is similar to Joey Buttafuco's. Let's put the train wreck behind us.

I must have entered the National Enquirer Ticker by mistake. I was looking for information on the status of the Charlie Rangel ethics investigation, after I saw him laughing and carrying on with the Botox House Speaker after a White House meeting devoted to figuring out how the liberal democrats can screw the American taxpayer more on this phone health care bill. There were certainly a collection of people who know how to steal taxpayer money at the meeting which was held in the liars palace.

This is unfortunate...this is exactly what these criminals wanted to accomplish. I guess the reality show will be next.

Oh please! Make a New Year's resolution to drop these people along with Jon and Kate, Balloon Dad, and Octomom from the public eye in 2010. The more they are given the spotlight, the more other people will copy them. What train wrecks!!!

The Salamis are profiting from their crime, so now more people will be encouraged to do the same. Crime does pay if you are like the Salamis and cause a national security breach.

What are these 2 lawbreakers doing NOT IN PRISON? They REFUSE to testify before Congress of the US regarding their 'crashing a party' an easy term for breaking federal security laws to get their mugshots with the POTUS? and are now being becoming paid Las Vegas celebrities because they 'got away with it?' Bet you I'd be in prison for many many many years if i even TRIED doing what they did. This country is for sure already headed down the toilet to the sewer of mad corruption. Who in the WH is paying for their downplay to avoid further 'embarassment' rather than have the 2 idiots arrested and jailed for a long long time? Somebody is.

  20. Only in America

Can you do wrong and be rewarded for it. These people broke through security at the White House, should've been put on a suspected watch list, but instead they are given card blanche.

Yet the true American who was aware of his surroundings, who saved many lives on Christmas day on that plane going into Detroit....he doesn't even get a mention!! Only in America!! (They must be republicans)

Don't give these people what they obviously crave, which is free publicity. They are not entitled to a 'career' based on their unauthorized entry into the White House.

What a bizarre society we live in today. Unethical, immoral, self-centered people get rewarded for their bad behavior. These people should be serving time or at least house arrest for what they did. Same goes for the White House staffers who let them pass.
