The Salahis are booked to headline a party in Vegas.

(CNN) – Famed White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi are going from party crashers to guests of honor.

"President Obama's most unexpected guests" are slated to headline a party at Caesar's Palace nightclub on January 16, according to the event organizer's Web site.

The pair are reportedly being paid $5,000 total for the appearance, according to the New York Post. A spokesman for the event could not be reached to confirm that number.

Maybe they can finally pay back their mountain of unpaid debts now.

Who are the idiots that are honoring the Salahis? I question their judgement and ulterior motives. This couple should be shunned by everyone who knows about them.

That's not much of a fee for an appearance by two celebrities. They should have asked for more.
Maybe they're offering their services as a benefit performance to illuminate the gross ineptitude of President Obama's White House staff.

Great, reward bad, criminal behavior by making these clowns the guests of honor. I will never go in Ceasar's Palace EVER. I guess Ceasar's thinks it's a big joke that the president could have been attacked. They just lost my business.

Pathetic. Hopefully no one will take the time to show up. These two bozos had their 15 minutes. They should be packed into one of the "Balloon Boy" parents' experimental balloons and floated off for real to destinations unknown....

Typical – attention seekers should be scorned, but instead are given creedence.

Please, please, please send these knucleheads to jail. My only hope is no one visits them and Ceaser's loses money on the deal. What a waste they are of our time and resouces.

When things like this happens as a result of bad behavior (crashing the White House State Dinner), it encourages others to do the same because it pays well and there are no consequences.

Please will somebody charge these people!

The shallowness of our society is absolutely without bounds! From "balloon boy" to the Salahi's, from Anna Nicole Smith to Sarah Palin, we just keep getting dumber and dumber...and all the while lined up like lemmings to shell out money so we can be somehow like them...or close to them. What gives?

Why haven't they been arrested and charged with crimes yet? Certainly they had to, at the very least, have lied to government agents, which is a federal crime.

Why would anyone invite these two boobs to anything? What is America's fascination with these kind of people?

The Vegas people paying them for their appearance are EXACTLY the sort of people who encourage their continued bad behavior.

Disgusting. Rewarding attention seeking law breakers with more attention. I hope government enforcement garnish the $5,000 and profits of the event to defray the costs of the investigation.
