(CNN) – Famed White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi are going from party crashers to guests of honor.
"President Obama's most unexpected guests" are slated to headline a party at Caesar's Palace nightclub on January 16, according to the event organizer's Web site.
The pair are reportedly being paid $5,000 total for the appearance, according to the New York Post. A spokesman for the event could not be reached to confirm that number.

I still don't understand why they didn't go to jail for knowingly lying to federal officials to gain access to the president and first lady. They should be doing a reality show from the big house.
REALLY!!! No wonder our society is out of control. We reward idiotic unlawful, disrespectful behavior. They should have been prosecuted & Michelle Oboma's buddy should have been fired for stringing them along in the first place.
Great – this just encourages more loonies to act up in the future.
Note to Caesar's Palace:
Count the silverware when they leave.
Looks like bad taste has crashed Caesar's Palace.
You know, it is so sad. We look at adults like this couple doing stupid stuff and see how they gain from this crap and then wonder why our kids are growing up with no values.
They are only doing what they see adults doing. What a shame. This couple needs to be behind bars for what they did and that lady named Rogers in the WH needs to be down at the employement security commission applying for her unemployment. It's past time for adults to take responsibility for their actions. It is being half done now in that we always take credit for what works, however, there is always another to fault when something fouls up. If you don't beleive me just listen to Sarah Palin.
Who cares about these people? The dumbing of our political discousre in action. If we had a grown-up political media these people would never resurface again.
Maybe Ceasar's shouldn't have their heads examined because they will make enough to get their money back and more, but they are exhibiting boorish behavior by having these knuckleheads on. Anyone who sees the show should have their head examined, though. Unfortunately, poor taste sells.
I wonder if they will have Balloon Boys parents there the next weekend. Caesar's must be hurting. Bring back Siegfried and Roy. Oh wait. . .
Prosecute the Salahi's, party crashing losers!
That's not exactly a celebrity fee. If that's all they can parlay after all of the recent PR coverage I am sure they will fizzle out. What's next for them? A Jerry Springer appearance?
Why is it that in Americia that we reward wrong doing. It is a very sad state of affairs . I have not or ever will give a penny to anyone that is being rewarded for poor behavior. This couple should be in jail not in Vegas as a guest of honor..WOW people
Who really cares what they do.
The things that pass for fame nowadays.
gross ... these people are parasites
shame on whoever gave these self-serving people a contract. shame also on anyone who would pay to see them.
This is disgusting! But the losers get the money don't they – just like Palin, Limbaugh, etc.
Break the law, get paid - what a country!
Caesar's will no longer get any of my gambling business.
What's next? A paid appearance by the "balloon boy's" parents?
That's ridiculous...rewarding these idiots and spotlight seekers. Caesar's Palace – off my list for stays in Vegas.
"Famed"? Come on CNN – these are two total idiots who have spent most of their time in court because of lawsuits by people they owe money to.
These two are crooks, and should be put in jail, not given press time
from any media outlet.
Thanks to our media – they are making money off this ridiculous occurance.
You me and your grandma are getting frisked at the airport and these jokers are cashing in.
This is crazy, we wonder why people feel like they can do and say what they want. These people need to be jailed. And they should not be allowed to make any financial gain from this incident. If this is allowed then every nut that's looking for 15 min fame will be trying to do whatever.
Why any one would pay these nasty party crashers any money is way beyond me, it is a shame that bad behavior gets rewarded, and those who follow the rules are never even noticed. I hope their event bombs!!!
I hope this signals the end of the "reality entertainment" fad.
I hope someone in Vegas organizes a boy cott for their show, but hope no one goes so far as protesting it...they wouldn't deserve the media attention a public protest generates.
I think it would send a message to them and other oppurtunistic types like the balloon boy parents and other "celebrities" you don't deserve attention for public deception and for being trashy.
A decade ago, a celebrity was someone with some talent or skill to their credit, now we have people who are "famous" merely for being provocative, breaking social conventions, or otherwise being trashy: Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, Jane Goody, ect.
