Washington (CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a deal with Fox News to appear as a contributor on the network, a source with knowledge of the agreement confirms to CNN.
There are no plans for Palin to anchor her own program, the source said.
Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, is considered to be a potential 2012 White House contender.

gee what a surprise. The only network that is dumb enough to take her seriously now gives her an open forum to display her ignorance on TV on a regular basis
FOX...no other network would even consider....
What a waste. Can somebody or anybody make her go away.
This is great news. Poor CNN you only have Cambell Brown and Anderson Blooper. I bet Fox's ratings will even go higher than they are now. CNN you need to bring back the spin room with Press and Carlson and have Matilin and Carvel host Crossfire.
I'll say this for the woman, she knows how to make money from nothing!
FOX News? Really?! Is that because they're 'Fair and Balanced'?
Why not just come out and admit that FOX News is the PR arm of the Republican party?
I try SO hard not be cynical, but Sarah Palin makes it SO though not to be!
Watch Fox News ratings skyrocket...buh bye cnn
Palin a contender? And where is the NRSC denunciation and same threat of lawsuits with this conflict of interest? Oh, whom am I kidding? Faux News = GOPer double standard
You betcha!
Perfect Fit!
Give me a break!
When I first read this, I thought CNN had offered her a spot and became quite concerned. When I saw it was Fox I sighed with relief and said "It figures".
LOL... it's a comedy show.. right? Because every time that woman opens her mouth I get entertained. Faux News is the perfect place for her to "sit and spin". Now the GOP has their three darlings for 2012 all in one place... Rush, Beck and Palin. With those stellar individuals leading the way, the RNC has no chance of losing...
Fair and balanced doesn't apply to Sarah Palin either
Yippie for her.
The country just got a little dumber.
Just when you think Fox network couldn't sink any deeper into their shallow, divisive, hatemongering psuedo-commentary, along comes the tsunami of mental idiocy, Sarah Palin!! Be careful though Sarah, Bill O'Reilly likes the girls.
Great - some more 'fair and balanced' opinion from the Paris Hilton of politics.
Quit your job as governor to be a Fox news contributor. What a promotion!
I suppose selling it to Fox is more convenient that selling it on street corners, but the result is the same.
That's news? Wasn't this part of the plan all along? Should be fun to watch her insightful analysis.
What will even be more fun is if she decides to run in 2012. What will the defenders of "poor picked on Sarah" say when her Republican opponents attack her just as viciously during the primaries as the feel she has been attacked by those mean, horrible liberals.
I don'tr really see her running for president.
This will be good for her, she'll have a chance to establish a real image with tons of footage recording it all. It will be up to her to decide if she wants to be a talking head entertainer or a serious pol with well thought out positions.
Good ole Fox, more preachers to preach to the choir and no one else
Gee, didn't see that one coming.
Surprise, surprise.
Iam not surprised as Fox is where all the loosers go sooner or later
