Washington (CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a deal with Fox News to appear as a contributor on the network, a source with knowledge of the agreement confirms to CNN.

There are no plans for Palin to anchor her own program, the source said.

Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, is considered to be a potential 2012 White House contender.

Oh my, apparently Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill-O and others are not providing enough lies and vitriol so Palin had to be called in...

This should officially mark Palin's last entry on the political ticker.

Anything after this, and CNN will be advertising for Fox.

Ahh, just one more reason to not watch Fox News: the overall IQ and expertise of their contributors is apparently experiencing a meteoric decline.
Now, I'm interested in Mrs. Palin's justification for this move, after her constant complaints of media coverage during the campaign and her complete indictment of the mainstream media upon her resignation from the governor's seat. Yet, here she is, joining that mainstream media she so voraciously railed against. Hmm... I suppose that means she either doesn't believe Fox News is mainstream–thus aligning her (if only adjacently) with liberals and moderates who have, for years, argued that Fox News is inherently on the fringe of journalistic integrity–or is, AGAIN, fundamentally contradicting her so-called "values."

With hopefully yet another nail speeding toward her coffin (especially since more people will be able to see her stumble over words and say absolutely nothing), I very much look forward to the day this woman is in complete, disgraced obscurity. Which is where she and other xenophobic anti-intellectuals belong.

Sarah Palin will be kept safe and warm at the Faux News station. She has already shown us she doesn't have the courage or moral integrity to be around anybody who would expect her to be accountable for the vitriol she spews. She is a hateful and vindictive woman who will fit right in there.

Only on fox news can someone who doesn't even know what foreign policy is be a political contributor.

WOW!! Aren't we all surprised?!? Sarah Palin & FOX!! Personally, I think it is a perfect fit. Now they can pool their unbiased slant on the "news" and present it to the public as factual & accurate news reporting together! Guess which network I will not be watching.

Of course she has a TV deal. Did any of you mindless numbs following her so passionately really think otherwise? She's in it for the money, nothing more. AK governor wasn't paying enough.

Brillant move Fox! Rating will shoot sky high. The entertainment value is priceless. But, surely you jest. This person is eye candy period! Palin has already proven she never reads any national news or publications. There has been no mention of her being affliated with any think tank, business group, government committies, etc. Where does she get her information before she starts babbling ? I know, I know, she has millions of people glued to her every word. Quite frankly Ms Palin would believe Chicken Little and then tell the world of the impending disaster and millions would make a run on survival stores and hide in caves. Who's next on your official commentators ? Maybe Limbaugh is available. Hey, there is a winner reality show. The Rush and Sarah or Sarah and Rush fantasy minute. Good luck
