Washington (CNN) – Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has signed a deal with Fox News to appear as a contributor on the network, a source with knowledge of the agreement confirms to CNN.
There are no plans for Palin to anchor her own program, the source said.
Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, is considered to be a potential 2012 White House contender.

There's a credible news channel. She's fair and balanced. Maybe they'll train her to speak in complete sentences. That would be a welcome change. I doubt she'll complete her contract.
The news media fell in love with Ms Palin on the day John McCain picked her as his running mate. They have been totally dedicated to making her a 2012 contender ever since – won't let go of it no matter how ignorant and unprepared she demonstrates herself to be. Go figure. It reminds me of when they made a celebrity of Paris HIlton. Should they be creating news (and newsmakers) or reporting actual news?
NOOOOOOOOOO. No surpirse it is on Fox News. Thank G-d I don't watch that junk new network (though my respect for CNN is in the tank these days – at least they don't have a line-up of hate and fear mongers).
Another reason that I am so glad I blocked Fox from my cable service. A liar like Palin should do well on the network that prides itself on spreading false information to the misinformed.
I won't be waitching!
This has been her dream all along - to be on television 24/7. Now that she has been granted her wish, hope she can do away with the word salads and construct some that actually make sense. No more "dead fish go with the flow"; "keeping her eye on the ball to know when to pass it so the team can win".
Enough already with this dumb "tinkerbell".
Palin, Fox News.... what a shocker. LOL
Oh NO, Not Palin again!
She finally found the perfect job! At a network that spreads lies. She's good at making up stuff. Good job sarah!
As an Independent, I am happy to have another media voice on the right. I watch four news stations daily and Fox is the only one to report on events that are hidden by the other three media outlets. If we don't have access to this information, we can't make proper decisions on who to vote for and how to live our lives.
This website fails to report on issues that Fox is investigating. Limiting ourselves to media that support our opinions is a waste of time.
Let's hope that Fox gives her a crash course in structuring and articulating a coherent sentence. Should be both fun and incoherent.
That's great. She's worked very hard to get to where she is and should make smart financial decision for her and her family moving forward. I wonder if the family has any plans of moving outside of Alaska.
She doesn't have the knowledge to anchor her own show. And what will she contribute? She will be another poisonous snake in the Fox pit.
I am shocked and surprised that she would take a deal at Fox. I really thought that she was headed to MSNBC (NOT!)
great recycling project
Fox news must be hurting for people to fill the positions.
Contribute on quitting jobs, where to shop, make money off the republicans.
cw
ok.
Is this woman ever going to go away??? Someone needs to tell her that her 15mins is up, and it's time for her to be gone! What a waste of time and resources, although since it's FOX news, it's not suprising
Since Fox doesn't like reporting the truth, and Palin doesn't appear to know this appears to a fit made in heaven.
She'll probably resign halfway through her first interview.
well, it was too late to get her their show "Are You Smarter Than A Sixth Grader?" (where the ratings would've been blockbuster)....so, next best Fox News .....give the ignorant people what they want.....the poster girl for the "dumbing down of America".
this does spell the end of what was once a noble profession. it use to be that one had to be articulate, well informed and able to form a complete sentence. journalism has strayed a long way from it's societal role.
Didn't I recently read that Republicans and Fox were asking for a commentator to step down from his post due to potential political party recruiment.....hmmmm, maybe there's hope she won't run for President after all.
Fix News is exactly where this nut job belongs
Great, please let me know when she starts that way I can put her on my DVR .... now I get to watch "Livwe fron New Yerk its Saturday Night " during the week. Just imagine recording and watching.. waiting "althou probably not long" for the wonderful gafffs.
Why not add Sarah to the Fair and Ballanced Cable News Network ? I am sooooooooooooooo sure that we will all be very informed with what her Alaskan and Going Rogue experience will bring to television ! After O'Reilly - Hannity - Beck - Smith ------ what is wrong with Sarah adding a quick , " you betcha " to whatever they speak .
what a perfect "news" commentator for fox "news" : the bridge to nowhere best selling "author" ex-governor from alaska.
Well, #1 shes on the right channel. #2, what in the world is she going to contribute? If you want to make this lady rich by buying her books and paying to hear her speeches, thats fine! Everyone deserves to earn a good living in this country. However, if people in this country seriously consider this woman a candidate for any kind of office, you are out of your %!?/"@ minds! Let it go, it won't happen. She had her 15 minutes as far as I am concerened, and I wish she would just go far way!
