This is a good thing....they both will self destruct! It will very soon be evident to even those with low IQ's what this administration is doing to this country. Vote him out!

    Dear President Obama,

Please campaign for Harry. Go to Nevada early and often. Please talk a lot about your and Harry's health care bill that the majority of Americans don't want. Talk about the exponential increase in the national debt. Talk about the stimulus package and all the jobs it did not create. Talk about how your campaign promise to get the US out of Iraq and to close Gitmo. Yea, that'll help. Get out there now. Harry needs to go and we need you “helping” him.

If Cheney, Palin, or Rush had said something like this it would be raciest because they have NEVER done ONE thing to improve race relations in this country. Reid on the other hand has!
The GOP, Cheney, Palin and Rush don’t have a problem with the inequality, they Never, Never!
The GOP has NEVER EVER done anything for non-whites.
They did not have a high ranking black until Obama Won HELLO their toke Steel!
Lets not pretend that the GOP has given a flip or even lifted a finger for a non-white.

The administration appears to be stepping up its defense of Sen. Reid. In an interview with the Associated Press, Attorney General Eric Holder defended Reid and called his remarks unfortunate “in the sense that it's created this controversy and raised questions about a man I don't have any doubts about myself.”

Now I understand why Holder thinks we are not ready for an open and honest debate about race in our country. Because if we believe as he does, then he holds no doubts about a person's integrity. But if you believe otherwise, you don't get the benefit of the doubt. So I don't get the benefit of the doubt from Holder, which is insulting, given he's such a pea-brain.

This country is not ready for Holder to be in a position of power. He's an idiot when it comes to race relations, and he's simply moronic when it comes to waging war. But he's very Obamanistic when it comes to proclaiming he holds the truth.

Obama is going to campaign for him because they need the seat in order to maintain power, which is the only thing Obama is concerned with.

Reid said "Negro dialect"....and all the dems are ok with it. Votes mean more to them than principle.

Racism is just fine with them as long as it's one of their own.

I know all you teabaggers and other wingnuts, birthers, etc. are hoping for anything that would kill healthcare. Anything that would bring down a black man. He's a commie. A marxist. Not a citizen!
    That's a nobrainer.
You thinkin' you can bring Reid down this way – thus healthcare reform.
Ha! His own voters will have to vote him our. Maybe they will.
I just love the irony of Republicans standing up for minorities.
All those rightwingers who support equality for all colors of folks!
Let's drink a toast all the Redumblicans who work so hard everyday for civil rights.

Wolf and Jack today are leading the right-wing charge to derail Health Care by doing continual loops of Harry Reid. Skin color and dialect are real issues that deserve serious discussion. These are not issues that should be made into one liners used for political purposes. Shame on you Wolf. I knew Jack was a spokesperson for the right but you always managed to stay above the hype. I guess the pressure to join in was too great.

Let's see – continuous and elevated terror threats against the homeland; 10% unemployment, +17% when you consider the underemployed & those who have just stopped looking; stagnant housing market; a health care bill that is a disaster; and debt mounting to levels higher than the average person can even imagine. And President Obama puts campaigning for this doofus on his list of "important things to do in 2010." Doesn't he have more important things to spend his time on???? These people are all a big joke...vote them all out in 2010 & 2012 and let's start over.

  11. so rich even obama couldn't hurt me but you middle class folk should worry

I really can't believe how many people don't get this, what harry said basically was he can win because he's light skinned and DOESN't talk black! of course obama forgave him, he takes that as a compliment, the ones who should be mad are the blacks who are manipulated by this party, he was elected because it was historic it felt good to vote for him, if he was a white guy with the experience he had he woulda NEVER beat hillary, now him and main stream media will and are going outta there way to protect harry from the people who should really be mad about this. shame on these horrible politicians. they are masters of manipulating the ignorant.

I think this story might have a little more bite IF it was said in public and was brought to light when it was said. Now it is just Republicans trying to do what ever they can to try to gain a little ground for their sad party...I am not saying the Democrats are any better, they would do the same thing.Let it go, it was too long ago and said in private...

Abraham Lincoln was the only republican to care about Black people. Democrats are the only ones fighting for equal rights of all people and are the only ones who feel every human being should have affordable health care

All I ever see from Republicans is mocking and whining. And after reading this bunch of comments, that's all I'm seeing again today. Why don't you guys come up with a positive agenda that actually solves our problems? Could it be that you are too busy mocking and whining that there is no time left for actually solving the problems most Americans face? At least Harry Reid has been working to make things better.

The GOP is a sad littlie out of touch group of losers, if Obama had not won Steel would still be a an invisible black man in the GOP, If Hillary had not run we would have been safe from the Alskan Hick Palin. Reid is a good man. The GOP is so desperate to find anything to bring the Dem’ down.
And Steel should never speck, with his uncle Tom self he is to bootleg Obama for the GOP, to bad they don’t have ANY intelligent black men in the GOP who are not so busy kiss butt that could actually compare to Obama or ever close to Obama.

Why not campaign for Reid? He has nothing better to do. Maybe while he's away there'll be no hands in the cookie jar. They are both just plain arrogant and ignorant. Vote them both out ASAP.

All you Republicans who are criticizing President Obama and Congress in response to this article are aiding and abetting the terrorists out to destroy this great country! How dare you criticize the president in a time of war? Why do you hate America so much? Traitors! If all you can do is criticize our country, why don't you leave? While you're at it, learn how to spell.
