It's funny that the Dem. says that 'we' can't afford the republican candidate. Aren't the Dems lifting the debt ceiling higher? Aren't they taxing everything that moves? Aren't they increasing the deficit to our grandchildren and greatgrandchildren? No, Martha Coakley, I think the person we can't afford is you.
So will this subject her to the same media ridicule endured by Dan "potatoe" Quayle? Or will the media downplay any criticism toward her and forthwith issue their apology to Mr. Quayle? Neither probably!
It's for a Republican. Spelling doesn't count.

A different question is, if Massachusetts is so reliably democratic, why have the ad in the first place? I thought she was up by 15 points. I noticed that Ms. Coakley previously stated that she would use the last debate to highlight Mr. Brown's record. Why not highlight your own? Not very proud of it? I guess not talking about your own political record isn't a bad strategy. It got President Obama elected.
