A new ad from Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley - the Democratic candidate to replace the late Sen. Ted Kennedy - misspells her home state of Massachusetts. (Photo Credit: Coakley Campaign)
She probably attended a public school. That would explain it.

And we cant afford another Dem in office either, thats for sure. The spending of this adminisrtation has to stop now.
A vote for Brown is the only choice for hope here.
To heck with miss spelled words, Coakley will miss spend if she gets elected.

Big deal. At least she didn't misspell "potato" or refer to Africa as a "nation".

Blame it on the video editor not the person who paid for the ad.

Repub's PLZZZZZZZZ, give it a rest. You people are so stupid.
You go from one stupid thing to another. Grow up that's why you 'll are being left behind. The world don't care about your pettyness.
This is the only country in the World that care about color of your skin, the texture of your hair, and who is sleeping with who.
Grow up, it's not all about you'll (hateful repub's). the world will not stop for you to get off because you don't agree.
See yaa, when you realize that you're the minority, like yesterday.

That's nothing. The Governor of South Carolina thought the Appalachian Trail went through Argentina. And Sarah Palin claimed she could read Putin's mind as he flew (at least in her imagination) over Alaska. And...
C'mon people. Do you honestly think Martha Coakley (or any candidate) personally spell checks every ad they run? If that's how they spend their time, they'd be pretty lousy public officials.

CNN has no reason to throw stones....since becoming a Time Company, the spelling has been horrible....not even checked in some cases.
Lately, all news agencies have done a terrible job in presenting the right words, or the write words, or the twrite words, and then tehrere are trhe horrible tpoes that apepar on the stopry lines.....

ok, so she misspelled her own state, it's embarassing, shows some incompetence by whoever put the ad together but doesn't say much about Coakley...so I'll do that. The legislature has been dominated by dems for generations – the state is mess in so many ways and taxes keep getting higher and higher. politicians prove to be corrupt and inept, yet the people here keep voting democrat. oh, i get it, THIS TIME it will be different...i guess with that kind of thinking, it makes sense you'd misspell your own state

Can't spell the state you are going to run in? Can't proof an ad? Just the right kind of person that we need in government. Not.

This is a major situation that demands looking into by the media – unlike the invasion of the wrong country by the other party, or say Sarah Palin confusing Iran and Iraq several times during an interview on Fox – those are minor indiscretions that are probably the Democrats fault anyway for confusing the Republicans, and therefore received less attention by the mainstream media than this typo. Good work guys!

Even though her campaign staffers can't spell, she will still be elected because she is - wait for it - a Democrat. Apparently in Massachusetts (see? I spelled it correctly!), no matter what you do (from the small stuff like spelling errors to the big stuff like killing a woman while driving drunk), as long as you are a Democrat, you can serve in public office.

WHAT THE HECK.....how can you look for perfection in an imperfect society! The imperfect society you contribute to CNN. I’d rather see a misspelled word than some of the trashy articles and video you have exploited. For example: “Porn stars on airport stripping.” Porn stars…REALLY!
Check yourself CNN!
