Palin: Fox gig doesn't close the door to 2012

(CNN) - Despite speculation from some political observers that Sarah Palin has ruled out a 2012 presidential bid in favor of a television career at Fox news, the former Alaska governor said all options still remain on the table.

Appearing Thursday night on Fox News - where Palin is now a formal contributor - Palin dismissed predictions her television deal means she has closed the door to a presidential bid:

"You know, I'm not going to close any doors for my future, for my family's future - don't know what's in the future, what it holds, but between now and whenever a big decision has to be made, I'm gonna do all that I can to help our country get back on the right track, and that's to get a message out there about solutions that I believe and a whole lot of Americans believe need to be plugged in," said the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee.

Can she please work on her run-on sentences? Are you sure she went to college for journalism?!? I wouldn't even hire her as a journalist, let alone the PRESIDENT of the United States of America.

Seriously, how do Palin fans support her? (Maybe Palin is purposely speaking like that JUST to please her fans?)

I can be tolerant of others while still expecting a certain level of intelligence for someone who has run for VP (or might run again for something else).

She is NOT what we need to 'get back on track' as she puts it. The very thought gives me chills.

Umm, yes, Sarah, it does close the door. The Daily Show and other comedians will now have daily sound bites from you, and the American people will get frequent doses of laughter and mesmerizing stupidity.

A Fox News contributor is a good career choice for Sarah Palin. She has the looks and personality for that job. I don't feel she's Presidential or Vice-Presidential material. She doesn't appear to have the confidence, and a broad understanding of world politics to do the job. She needs more political experience which she could've got had she not quit her job as Governor of the State of Alaska. What if she did the same thing when President or Vice President? You can't cut and run when the job gets too hard.

It should, she isn't going to win any way, palin is the Republicans great presidential hope, image depending on a beauty Queen to win and run our country, a one time governor and Quitter and a true Gold Digger.

There's no reason at all to believe that Palin won't QUIT this job too.

Yeah OK, as if she ever had a chance, she quit as governor because she couldn't take the pressure that came with being a national figure how would she handle the presidency? Doesn't take a genius to figure out she would run back the trailer she came from in Alaska and they could have her.

Teh country isn't on the wrong track and if it was, Palin doesn't know enough to do anything about it.

What does she mean, "Right track?" All I have seen from the Republicans is destruction of the Country by controlling the underprivileged with the privileged.

She'll get paid from now until 2012 to basically have campaign forum. Good news is that even the editing geniuses at Fox can't edit out vacuousness.

When was the last time or the first time for that matter that you heard Palin offer a solution to anything? All she does is badmouth anything that the democrats do, in other words, just another republican that knows how to say NO. No solutions, no plans, no ideas of her own. Typical for the GOP,

what does she know about getting our country back on track?? she couldn't even stick with being a governor for her state because the going got tough. and you palin lovers think she can run a country????????
president obama is doing a stellar job at getting our country BACK on track. back meaning getting us out of the mess w. put us in after 8 years of doing NOTHING.
as far as fox it is just such a typical move for them. they're lineup of host are all WANNA B'S who can't. the show has become a comedy show with the anchors all high and mighty and they can't tell the truth if it hit them in the face. they are all a bunch of liars and actors.
AND IT IS ALL FOR RATINGS.....................

But Sarah, you won't make as much money as president as you would being your stupid self on TV or pretending to write books. Think of your family!

Oh please. This is an obvious deal between Fox News and Palin to get her more face time and shill for her using their vast resources. This isn't going to get in the way of Palin's political campaign, this IS Palin's political campaign.
