(CNN) - Despite speculation from some political observers that Sarah Palin has ruled out a 2012 presidential bid in favor of a television career at Fox news, the former Alaska governor said all options still remain on the table.
Appearing Thursday night on Fox News - where Palin is now a formal contributor - Palin dismissed predictions her television deal means she has closed the door to a presidential bid:
"You know, I'm not going to close any doors for my future, for my family's future - don't know what's in the future, what it holds, but between now and whenever a big decision has to be made, I'm gonna do all that I can to help our country get back on the right track, and that's to get a message out there about solutions that I believe and a whole lot of Americans believe need to be plugged in," said the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee.

Already one of Palins faithfull followers on the "View" said that she thinks this deal with Fox is not in her best interest if she plans to run in 2012, because everything she says will be played back against her.......she sounded very disappointed in her discissions.......and this is what will continue to happen the longer she stays on FOX she will be losing her credibility everytime she opens her mouth and she will continue to lose followers.......

You know, watching politics in the US, I am thinking that the US deserves someone like Palin. Because they seem to not know what intelligence and honest good moral conduct is. Palin is such an example, she is lacking in any form of education, sound judgement, moral standing and proper behaviour.
If Palin is the example of a "Born again Christian" – which she began her campaign on – well I will go to the otherside. She is a typical example of how wrong things are in America, where Idoits are revered and promoted as a success.
No wonder President Obama is treatred the way he does by the American people, especially the "Old White Boys" in the GOP. They simply don't get it – WAKE UP AMERICA, YOU DESERVE FAR BETTER THAN PALIN.

I think that she probably is the most talked about person on left wing media. The funny part is these guys are making her rich by giving her all the free publicity. For example...I can barely remember the slate of candidates leading up to the nomination of both parties. But the Left won't let go of Palin...I wonder why?

No one should "close the door" on Sarah Palin when they have to consider her egotistical political and financial ambitions.
After all, the ultra-conservatives still back a woman who has an illegitimate grandchild with an unmarried daughter, will not stay home to tend to her own developmentally problematic child, will move to Washington or commute for Fox News, and who is going to be the keynote speaker for the liquor industry meeting in that "den of iniquity", Las Vegas.
And the "conservative religious right" still supports this woman?
You can't rule out anything when it come to Sarah Palin.
