How unfrotunate that a less-than-stellar Democratic candidate in the Massachusetts special election is being lauded as a huge Republican victory. It is a Democratic loss at an individual candidate level, not a referendum against health insurance reform, or the President.

Obama has handed the GOP a Senate seat, the Kennedy Senate seat. First time in almost 6 decades.

Finally! Common sense has returned with what appears to be the election of Scott Brown in MA. We need to SLOW DOWN on this health care initiative and analyze what is really wrong and only fix what needs fixing. God help us!

Drudge is reporting that Coakley has conceeded the race. Thank God for the independent thinking people of the state of Massachusetts. Finally we may get to move to a more sane sense of government.

Just wondering – do the progressive liberals led by Obama get the message YET? If not, they are totally blind to reality and have no business putting their two cents into public affairs.

Regardless of how this race ends up, this is a warning shot across the bow of both Dems and Reps. Quit screwing around and start governing from the center. There are more of us, (Independents) than both of you combined. We will vote you the hell out of office. To all you far left and right nuts, SHUT UP!

Thank you America. We have finally been awakened it"s not the responsibilty of the rich or middle class to support those who do not want to work or have higher priorties in life than supporting their families. It's not our responsibility to care for illegal ailens or to house terroist . To have to share food money & medical in emergencies is one thing but to have it shoved down your throat day after day is another. I believe thats called socialism were not socialist we are Americans and live in a democratic society let the peoples voices be heard. I won't waste more space on the energy crisis. Mr T Boones Pickens has the answer to that Trust him not that other expert Pelosi.

The Massachusetts voters just said whoa to the runaway train in DC. Get ready for Pelosi and Reid to cram their liberal agenda down our nation's throat before Brown is seated in the Senate.

It isrefreshing to see people look objectively at two main candidates and make their honest and informed choice. There are many of us who feel the liberal media served as Obama's campaign committee in the recent presidential election and influenced many Americans to view Obama positively and McCain negatively. This was not possible here; the media didn't catch on to the fast-moving trend in Massachusetts quickly enough to prepare all the positive and negative stuff for Coakley and Brown, respectively.

Great – if Brown wins, America loses. Brown posed nude in COSMO, so how does that fit in with the Christian GOP? It really doesn't matter to the GOP because they just want to filibuster health care reform and destroy what little hope Americans had for a better America. I am a born again Christian and am ashamed at how Christians in this country have fallen for the crap that the Jarge Bush Brigade has sold to the American people. Brown stands for nothing of value to the average American family. This is a sad day for America if this American Idol douche bag wins.
