Washington (CNN) – As Sen. John McCain readies for a potential primary challenge from the right this fall, the Arizona Republican is playing his trump card.
Sarah Palin, McCain's former running mate and perhaps the most powerful brand in Republican politics, will stump for McCain in Arizona on March 26 and 27, a Palin adviser told CNN. The presence of Palin - and the considerable crowds and media attention she will draw - might give pause to J.D. Hayworth, the former Republican congressman and radio host who opposes McCain's position on illegal immigration and is mulling a Senate run of his own.
The former Alaska governor will also hit the campaign trail in the coming month for two conservative heroes - Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Palin has already endorsed Perry in his primary fight against Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison; she will appear with the governor in Houston on Feb. 7.
Palin and Bachmann, meanwhile, will team up on April 7 in Minnesota.
As much as Irespect McCain people of AZ should be looking into adding term limits to their Constitution. it is time for new blood.
This is really scary!!!
there is change a coming ,,, its a bad time to be in the old guard.... both parties better be warned... american are sick of the way this nation is heading,,,
Palin providing an endorsement? Hahahaha...that's the most idiotic thing I've heard. Who cares who she endorses?
That may be a little like Obama stumping for Coakley! It may hurt more than help....
McCain is a fool if he lets Palin help his campaign. That may not be such a bad thing.
Of course...on a day like this, the radical left-wing nutcases need a space to spout their venom. What better place than yet another Sarah Palin article. This will have 300 left-wing idiots flocking to it in no time.
They don't have much else left......
JOhn, run away from her - fast! That would be like the Fox "helping" in the henhouse!
It's nice to see Sarah earning some real money for a change.
Arizonians don't want John McCain and Texas doesn't want Rick Perry or Hutchison. John McCain has done nothing for Arizona and he is a washed up old man. Rick Perry on the other hand is a disgrace to Texas as he campaigned for Texas to leave the Union while our troops are in the Middle East. Michele Bachmann and Palin are a pitiful disgrace. These Republicans all play the race card and they have got to go, they aren't good for America's future which is becoming more and more a multi-cultural society.
Stick a fork in him, he's done.
Sarah the quitter, the Liar of the year for 2009...
That "stupid girl" as you libs call her will make a big impact even if she doesn't run!
I can't wait for Palin to join Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton in "Irrelevanceville"
Stupidity is the most powerful brand in GOP politics? What a sad day.
Coakley lost last night to Scott Brown – a pro-Roe v. Wade, pro-civil unions moderate from Massachusetts. He may have had something briefly in common with the Teabagger movement, but those similarities are fleeting at best. Teabaggers are an American Pariah.
Good Morning left wing losers.....excuse me while I dance on your political grave
Is she wearing her visor????
No surprise there. But who really cares. Sen. McCain's fate belongs to the citizens of the state of Arizona.
McCain is a clueless moron and letting another clueless moron like palin campaign for him is the ultimate proof of his stupidity. I live in AZ and will do my best to see that this worthless repub scumbag doesn't get re-elected.
You better rethink this one Sen. McCain. The Gallup poll just released shows that a huge majority ( 69%) of Independent voters feel Sarah Palin is "unqualified" for national public office and 62% of them gave her being on the '08 ticket as a "major" reason they voted Democratic.
The exit polls from the '08 election clearly show that Palin was one of the major reasons McCain did so poorly with the swing voters.
It's fine to be loyal ( even when you've made a really bad mistake) but to do it again is the definition of insanity!!
Go for it sara make sure that okd mam gos on a farmto enjoy the rest of his mean waxs kermit the frog
OBVIOUS WIN FOR OBAMA AND HEALTH CARE AND CHAPAQUITIC TED.
If you hate Sarah Palin so much, send Obama to stump for her... just look at his record!! ROFL
Lets hope Obama campaigns for Pelosi too!!
We need to get rid of the PHONY WAR HERO, McCain. He is too old. The guy is a joke.
That ought to be fun to watch. Bet the McCain 'aides' are girding up their loins for that little treat!!!
