(CNN) – Former President George H.W. Bush and first lady Barbara Bush will endorse Texas gubernatorial candidate Kay Bailey Hutchison on Friday, according to Hutchison's campaign.
The endorsement is set to occur at a press conference at the former president's office in Houston.
Hutchison, in her fourth term in the U.S. Senate, faces incumbent Gov. Rick Perry in a Republican primary in March.

Hutchison, drop out. You will be wounded terribly in the upcoming election and you have been such a good senator for Texas. Too bad you are going out of business.
The Bush's previously supported now Gov. Rick Perry whose is a piece of ........ and this is scary for Texas because Dick Cheney also supports Hutchison.
For the first time in 10 years GW & I are on the same page!
Fancy letting all that money go. It ain Obamamoney!
it ain got Ol' Bama's picture on them bills!
He got to go that Perry!
Ask youself why Kay would want to step down to be a Governor, when she is a Senator? Must be some kind of double dipping going on? She needs to retire and move on. Funny she will not step down to run for the governorship, wants to do it on the Tax payers time and money.
Hyprocrite comes to mind, does it not?
Bush is the Republican kiss of death just like Obama is the Democrap kiss of death concerning endorsements.
And who is the Democrat running??
How the heck is that going to help her? GW is the kiss of death for anyone trying to get elected these days.
I am reminded of the grand entrance Elizabeth Taylor made when she entered Rome in the movie Cleopatra. That is how Texans will receive Bush. A rose pedal carpet will precede his entrance to the campaign trail.
Wow! What a split! It's going to be real tough to pick a candidate.
Man...now I'm torn. At first I thought any port in the storm is better than Perry. But after a W endorsement of Hutchinson, heck, there must be something about Perry we like!
I always wondered why McCain didn't pick her for the vice presidential nominee instead of Palin...He might have actually won.
Now that's an endorsement! NOT!
Palin supports Rick Perry – he will win.
Then palin 2012...:)
