Smack-down....The president continues to make the repugs look incompetent and dishonest.........Did I hear one of them say he has a HC plan that would cover everyone at no charge......what a bold face lie.

If the domestic terrorist Republican politicians spent less time shaking their heads and disagreeing all the time, maybe we wouldn't have the issues we have today. Maybe if they stood up to little W the war criminal, we wouldn't be where we are today.

What you negative I.Q. dolts refuse to acknowledge is that Obama had the CONFIDENCE to stand up in front of a room full of domestic terrorists in the first place.

Bush would have simply scheduled another vacation...

It was phenomenal! America this is what a real president sounds and looks like. Bravo to President Obama. He made mince meat out of the GOP conference. He was determined, cool, calm, rational, and most importantly forthright and truthful on his policy and talking points about the Republican party and what they stand for. I hope to see more of this kind of debate and discussion from the White House. It reinforced my determination to ensure another term for this President. He showed this nation a politician can have character and intergrity; even when tough decision have to be made and not everyone is in your corner.

I cannot express enough how impressive it was to watch President Obama accept a challenge from over 140 opponents and outsmart each of them. I was extremely proud of our president yesterday!

Obama says his healthcare plan was represented as a Bolshevik Plan and then admits as much with his "stray cats and dogs" statement.

He should have not brought the podium, which will put anyone on the defensive mode. Just chair to sit in but I guess he needed a symbol of power. He needs to park his boot camp ego of his if he really wants to work together.

The Republicans will always find fault with whatever President Obama does. Dealing with the Republicans is therefore a waste of time.

Personally, I think President Obama should just give it up and get on with fixing the mess the Republicans left him and our country.

I watched the entire show and enjoyed it very much. It's too bad that this show coudn't have been shown in prime time so all the American people could watch it. I think it would enlighten everyone. I bet the Republicans think twice before thy invite Obama back again. They tried but were unable to make anything off of him. He was able to answer all their questions. He never got ruffled or out of sorts. It was amazing. They all came off looking small and petty. Obama told them he was having fun. And he was. He was in complete control. The GOP still trying to say they weren't included in anything, just pushed aside. Well, Obama made them all out liars in that respect. He certainly proved to them that he reads everything from them and has used some of their ideas. So it makes them look pretty dumb when they stand up and say they didn't read something and didn't know what was going on. The GOP is run by a small group of folks wh tell all the others what to do. Now that the newer Representatives have listened to Obama face to face and heard him answer their questions perhaps they will make an effort to work with him. They were elected to work for the people and if that means working with a Democratic President then so be it!!!

The master of "slash and burn" politics accuses the GOP of boxing themselves in a corner with their "slash and burn" politics.
That is called reaching across the isle.

I watched the entire exchange and was extremely proud of the dignified way that PRESIDENT Obama handled the sometimes
acrimonious questions of his audience, Intelligence at work !

The sooner Obama gets rid of the wall-street/Goldman Sachs gang,
the better. Bernanke was another major mistake.
Paul Volcker and Joeseph Stieglitz should be running the economy.
When things get even worse than now, Obama will be in even bigger
trouble, and then he will have to get rid of the wall-street gang.
To do it now might give him a small chance of surviving the next
    election.
He said last week, that he would rather be a great one time President
as opposed to a mediocre two-time one. He forgot to mention, that
he could easily become a terrible one-time President!
What is Mr. Emanuel doing? This is his job!

the republicans need to help with rebuilding the economy instead of criticize Obama on every he does. Americans need jobs and health care, terorism cannot be front issue for Obama when so many people do no have jobs. The republicans need to get it.
