Is that suppose to make us feel better knowing Congress controls the purse strings when we have a spend like hell majority of Liberal Democrats running the country? Who thinks up these questions that are so neatly answered without comment being necessary?

If we did away with all the jobs that depend on racism surviving we would have about 50 percent unemployment in this country now. A good example that it needs to be kept alive for the almighty dollar it brings ,visit Greensboro NC today. I wonder how long marriages would last if the first waking thought was bringing up something that happened 20 years ago that either did wrong. Funny thing people come here from all over the world and unless they are a religious nut terrorist they seem to fit in and prosper. Some people born here just can't seem to cut it. It is hard to carry a chip that is bigger than the ax that cut it. If we want to grieve for our past deeds I suggest we think about the American Indian who really go the shaft.

I wonder how many republicans here will pitch a fit because "Obama needs to STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY!!!!!!!" while not realizing its an anual budget.

    Likely 98% of them.

You know, the only reason I come to CNN anymore is to read the republicans whines and laugh at their obvious ignorance and lack of education.

Thanks CNN for giving my a few good daily laughs.

President Obama should continue to use EVERY opportunity...

...to read the Republican's pedigree on fiscal irresponsibility...

...they had two wars, a huge drug bill, and taxcuts for the rich all off the books...

...now that he's giving the moronic tea baggers the transparency they have been crowing for...

...they are trying to use it against him...

...NEVER forget who's responsible for this humongous debt...

    ...it's the CONFEDERATE REPUBLICANS!

The joke is the 5thousand tax credit to employers who hire new people, give more hours and raises. Most employers are laying off because they dong have work never mind hiring. Bring back the Bush tax cuts and yes for the wealthy to as the old saying goes the rich get richer because they invest and keep the economy going.

I really really do NOT understnad how lowering taxes (by any name) can hurt the economy. Will someone please explain to me how it is possible to take more money away from people and business and expect that the economy will grow. If I have less money in my pocket then I have less money to spend and so I wont. If business has less money to utilize for operations then they will not hire. What am I missing here?

As opposed to a "spend like hell without ever finding a way to pay for your spending" Republican majority?

If we are going to spend money (which we WILL) I would MUCH rather have a government who finds ways to PAY for their innciatives instead of foisting the responsiblity to the next administration after spending like drunken sailors.

we are paying for mostly REPUBLICAN debt and poor fiscal strategy.

But sure, blame the party who acctually -believes- in shared sacrifice and not the party who only words it.
