New DNC ad claims Republicans 'at it again.'

A new DNC ad slams Republicans for Wall Street ties.
A new DNC ad slams Republicans for Wall Street ties.

(CNN)– The Democratic National Committee launched a television ad Friday accusing Republicans of appealing to Wall Street for campaign money in exchange for stopping proposed financial regulation from being passed.

"They're at it again, promising Wall Street 'we'll have your back'," says the narrator in the 30 second spot, citing a Wall Street Journal article published Thursday.

The ad, which cites Republican fiscal policies as a major cause of the economic recession, features a picture of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, RNC Chairman Michael Steele and House Minority Leader John Boehner with the slogan "the era of putting Wall Street over Main Street is over."

It will air on national cable.

These neo-con republicans will sell out the people of the United States for their own profit. The recent Supreme Court decision forced by the republican nominated justices, could put control of the U.S. in the hands of a candidate backed by foreign interests. These republicans will have made their millions however by political prostitution.

Excellent. The Grand Obstructionist Party, AKA the Party of NO was in the White House when Wall Street was raping America and the Republicans were doing nothing about it. The GOP is also responsible for the huge deficit and they were doing nothing when dictator Bush was spending billions and billions on the two insane wars. But now that a Democrat is in the White House, they have emerged from their comas and now are deficit hawks. Republicans are hypocrites. alll of them..

Cool ad Dems, but let's not throw stones while you are living in a glass house. Most of you Dems in congress basically gave Wall Street 700 billion to bail hem out of their mess that they created and not once did you consider that Wall Street will always do what they do, pad their pockets with loads of cash and in turn do nothing for main street. So this ad is the pot calling the kettle black. You should have put these regulations in place first. But you didn't because the same guys you are critizing for paying themselves insane amounts of money in bonuses are the same guys who are paying for you to stay in office. Hypocrites! We need to get rid of this two party system and demand term limits on all government officials

Good. It's factual. It's the truth. It's about time they are called out for supporting Wall street over good fiscal policy so that the giant corporations can make obscene money off of us.

All their yap about the little guy is just that. They have always supported business interests over the ordinary man..

Is this to cover up the growing distain for the liberals Porkulus Package which people are now realizing was a huge give a way to special interest groups. How many jobs was it going to create??? I know, I know its not all spent quite yet. But where is the jobs? The housing market is going to hit a dead end when tax breaks expire. No more cash for clunkers which front loaded car sales for several months. This will be a long, long campaign season for Liberals.

    I can't wait.

LMAO. If the Democrats can't blame Global Warming–they just blame republicans. Rather than taking the initiative to solve problems of their own creation–the Democratic Congress voted for TARP 1 and unfunded liabilities like the War on Tactics (Terror)–their gut response to all things is to blame republicans. At least their creating work among Ad agencies via a propaganda spewdem campaign. It's not that Americans don't like politics–we just don't like blithering idiots in politics.

Umm....do you have any idea how much Obama has taken from Wall St. in the past 6 months for contributions? Let's start with a $10K per plate dinner for 300+ here in NYC in Septebmer that was essentially billed as "attend, or else". Not to mention the passes that Geithner has given the big banks over the past year. Let's face it, both parties have an interest and are in bed with these guys. To single out Republicans only is naive. It's politics.

This is really hilarious since it was none other than the current Democrat administration that gave all that money to fat cats at big banks. The hypocrisy is astounding.

Big money fat-cat Rethugs stick together like glue. No wonder the GOP doesn't want to do anything to reform Wall Street, health care insurance or the banking industry. Those are the people who fund their coffers and help them win elections. Guess those of us who earn under $250,000 a year don't count to the 'thugs.

The GOP are business people. That's to be expected. Precisely why we need a new and totally different party, with a different set of ideals, that neither seek personal enrichment, nor give away the country to social programs.
