Gibbs takes jab at Palin

Washington (CNN) – White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made a dig at former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin Tuesday during the White House daily briefing.

"I wrote a few things down. I wrote eggs milk and bread, but I crossed out bread just so I can make pancakes for Ethan if it snows," Gibbs said showing the palm of his hand with notes written on it. "Then I wrote down hope and change just in case I forgot that."

Gibbs was apparently taking a jab at Palin who had notes written on her hand during a question and answer session at the Tea Party Convention Saturday night in Nashville, Tennessee.

It was later determined Palin had written the words "Energy," "Tax Cuts," and "Lift American Spirits" in her palm.

HA! Is this really any funnier than our lightweight, incompetent president taking a teleprompter to an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL? 🙂

Barrack and Michelle Obama aren't seeing a recession...they're LIVING LARGE.

Those two, that sat in a church that spewed hatred for America generally (and white people specifically), along with their two daughters, were indoctrinated in the racist and anti-American rantings of the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright over the many years they attended. They wanted to make sure the kids also developed their parents' chip on the shoulder and can carry on the tradition.

How sad the American people fell for these two phonies...wake up people, Obama DOESN'T CARE about YOU, it's all about them and what they can get from the taxpayer...and they're doing JUST FINE. They are the most narcissistic couple to occupy the White House

Sarah is once again getting skewered because she's seen to be the ignorant fraud that she is. She jabs at President Obama for using a teleprompter AS IF ANY PRESIDENT memorizes all of his speeches or is even expected to. But then she's seen with her talking points written in her hand just like a 3rd grader.

She was the keynote speaker addressing a group with a very limited agenda and she STILL needed the notes to remind her of her main talking points!!

This is the reason why intelligent people everywhere are both nauseated by and scared of this women's meteoric rise. It's a celebration of stupidity. The dumbing down of America continues apace...and she's it's poster child.

Funny how CNN picks up on Sarah using notes on her palm, when I didn't see anywhere on their telecasts or websites where Obama mispronunced "corpsman" three times on Feb 4. Hmmmm

Why is no one talking about Palin's lapel pin she keeps on wearing. She is wearing a pin with the Israeli and American flag on it. Since when is it ok for politicians to wear the flag of another country over their hearts? It is one thing to do it during a state visit but to have it worn at every public speech sends the signal that her loyalty is not just to the US. How is this not an issue when all you do is talk about national security and America first politics?

Oh No, now Gibbs will be her person to fight with this week. Palin can dish it out but forbids anyone to criticize her. It is always poor ole Sarah, people are being mean to me. Writing on her hand reminds me of primary school. This poor woman hasn't a clue as to how educated people view her. As we say in the South Bless Her Heart.

Senator Dianne Feinstein did the exact same thing during her debates. Who cares?

That Gibbs sure is funny when he takes a poke at Palin or the GOPers. It's the stuff he says the rest of the time that matters...like how Obama's going to fix the economy, reform healthcare, close Guantanamo, restore America's standing in the world. etc.

Oh well, let's hope Palin give Gibbs some new material heading into the next election this fall. Clearly, our country needs this type of talent in Washington.

His boss can't speak a coherant sentance without a teeprompter but a few words on a person palm and ..."OH MY GOD!" Has anyone see a bigger duchebag that Gibbs?

Grow up, Gibbs! You and your boss behave like petty little children. So, Palin made a few notes on her hand. What is the huge deal? This CNN obsession with her is sick.

Really? Iran, Russia and China are walking all over your teleprompter reader in chief, and all you nutjob libs can do is make fun of Palin? You guys aware she doesn't hold office? She is a private citizen. Maybe focus on your actual jobs and stop being the "catcher" for the real evil "pitchers" in the world.

Palin's teleprompter comment was the pot calling the kettle black.

Bobbing head up and down to read speech and then scribbling notes on her palm for the Q&A... You just can't make this stuff up – it was there for all to see.

Her handlers should be cussing her out right about now! JM group said she was dense as they come.

If Palin was so nervous while speaking in friendly company of the tea party, then what would she has done when talking to Iran. Unless, she was going to take the cowboy approach and let our bombs do the talking for us.
I can't but wonder about all those Republicans who tried to say she had more Executive Experience than Obama- people will say anything to keep the political party line going.

The administration has stooped to a new low with this stunt. But perhaps conservatives should thank Robert Fibbs - the more the liberals insult the Tea Party movement, the larger and stronger it gets.

Write this on your hand Mr. Fibbs: November 2, 2010. That's the day of the conservative landslide victory!

Palin is a Moron and worse a Hypocrite.. She will stop at nothing to mislead a group in America that cannot think for themselves but rather will listen to anything this brainless CheerLeader has to say..How can she accuse Obama of reading from a teleprompter during a speech but at the same time need to write reminders messages on her own hand.. We have seen Obama answer tough questions from Republicans at their own gathering without any other aid apart from his intelligence.... How many random question sessions has Palin participated in???How can people still believe what she is saying?????

    The noteworthy news isn't that
Sarah Palin wrote notes on her palm. The real news is that the news media has microcospic eyes and noticed it.

I trust that the news media will let us know when they spy spinach in her teeth.

These things are important, but not as important as "Tax Cuts, Energy," and "Lift(ing) American Spirits"

I bet Sarah Palin would not need a teleprompter to talk to elementary children!!!! It is simply amazing how Sarah Palin can get a such reaction from CNN, MSNBC and the other mainstream media stations. Have any of the MSM media stations considered that this is why you no longer have any viewers?

It may be a good idea in general to avoid punching downward, but given Palin's non-stop criticism on Obama's politics and presentation, this is far too funny to pass up. I can't believe that a grown adult, much less a politician, would write notes on their hand like a 13-year-old and expect to be taken seriously. If you can't see the difference in professionalism between using a teleprompter and marking yourself up with a Sharpie, well, now I know how low your standards have to be to support Palin.
