I don't really care that she used crib sheets; despite all the Republican mockery of teleprompters, anyone doing public speaking should have some kind of notes... although writing them on your hand is pretty childish and not very classy. But what amazes me is WHAT she had on her hand. These weren't budget numbers or anything hard to remember, and it surprises me that she'd need those written down. I read them once and I can still remember them:

Budget (striked out and replaced with "Tax") cuts
    Lift American spirits."

She can't remember THAT? And they're hollow policies to begin with. Drilling more is a temporary fix to our problems at best, not a solution; it's like a band-aid on cancer. Then cutting taxes without cutting the budget is a proven bad idea; that's what Bush did and that's why we're in the mess that we're in. And "lifting American spirits" is not Government's job to begin with... and it's a bit scary that Palin's main plan for the country is to rely on supernatural intervention. I don't care if someone likes to hope that supernatural forces are going to help them, but to have that as your PLAN is pretty alarming. Have all the faith you want, but govern like you're wrong about it. That's the difference between a person of faith and a lunatic.

How can anyone take this idiot seriously? Even the most entry level company spokesperson can remember basic talking points.

What is the difference between reading a teleprompter and a palm? With the teleprompter every word is pre-planned, so any empty headed fool can just read the teleprompter. Notes on a palm require more verbal and mental activity.

Really? She writes a note on her hand and this is news. You people need to get a life. We have a president who uses a teleprompter to speak to grade school children. I would be more concerned about this than a private citizen using her hand as a notebook.
