Joe the Plumber lashes out at McCain

Joe the Plumber is finished with McCain.
Joe the Plumber is finished with McCain.

Washington (CNN) - He was one of the faces of John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008, but Joe Wurzelbacher - better known to the world as "Joe the Plumber" - is apparently finished with the Arizona senator.

"John McCain is no public servant," Wurzelbacher said at a campaign rally Saturday in Pennsylvania for long shot gubernatorial candidate Sam Rohrer. Later, in an interview with Pennsylvania Public Radio, he dismissed the suggestion that he owes his fame to McCain.

"I don't owe him sh*t," Wurzelbacher said. "He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it."

"McCain was trying to use me," he said. "I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy."

Wurzelbacher said he's also done with Sarah Palin because she is backing McCain's re-election bid in Arizona.

Well, CNN, you really are going to the bottom of the barrel to quote joe the plumber. While I do not like or support Mccain, Joe did get his fifteen minutes of fame through him. Although that is more than this idiot deserves he most certainly would not be a headline on any creditible web, that is except CNN.

Boo Hoo. So the lying Republican that is Joe the Plumber (i.e. Sam the unemployed) is now biting the hands that fed him to the media and made him a household name? Big surprise. I expect Palin to throw McCain under the bus too, if her handlers suspect for an instant that McCain might lose his re-election bid, or if the Tea Party she is now taking her marching orders from decides to back a challenger. Politics as usual.

Now this is so funny....How the McCain team wanted to have a picture perfect campaign but again it seems like everyone has jumped ship which they wanted to make like they were the ticket best for America??? Palin quit, Joe the Plumber dismissed both McCain/Palin and he ran a nasty campaign......Wow!!! Lesson: The Lord knows best.....

Joe..Joe..Joe...you're the one who "used" your unearned fame to get a book contract, media tour, speaking gigs, etc.

Just because you failed in your endeavors Joe, that doesn't necessarily mean that your failures are Mr. McCain's fault.

Seriously, do conservatives ever take responsibility for anything anymore?

Joe the plumber isn't a plumber and his name is not Joe; he is a phony. His mind is not stable and he hasn't a coherent thought.

Why do you give him any space at all?

Finally Joe, you woke up. The general public could see u were only being used. You better stick with Obama. He is more for the middle class. He worked his way up, wasn't handed to him or from a rich family. Not everything he does is perfect but he is trying to help this country out of the ditch GW put us in.

Better watch it Joe, you don't want to get on Sarah's bad side, LOL!!! You are as much a joke as she is. You both were used by John McCain like paid escorts. But you did get you 15 minutes of fame, so stop crying!!!

Is this guy still in the news? Hopefully he's used the money from his 15min of fame to get that plumber's journeyman's card. But I suspect he has higher aspirations these days so plumbing is no longer in the picture. Too bad since I can see this clown back on welfare in the near future.

Joe is just trying to keep up his public personna, and make gains from that. That seems to be what everyone does, once thrust in the public eye.

    Joe, the wannabee.

Did he pay his back-taxes yet? does he have a license yet?
Joe and Sarah show what people McCain selected. Glad he lost.

It sure appeared for a while that Joe the Plumber was trying to capitalize on his windfall fame brought about byJohn McCain and now he's calling McCain down. Joe the Plumber is a jerk!

Sounds like a case of sour grapes since Joe couldn't turn his 15 minutes of fame into anything lucrative. Sorry this wasn't the gravy train you were looking for Joe. You'll just need to keep working like the rest of us.

And I'm sure both Palin and McCain will be sleepless over his harsh words....

I don't know which statement is dummer – that McCain had nothing to do with Joe the Plummer's fame, or that he is the face of middle America.

It's apparently just dawned on Joe that 'it was a ploy.' It was apparent to most of the rest of us from day 1.

Gather any five Conservatives together and each of them will accuse the others of not being "TRUE" Conservatives – as if Conservatism was a set of clearly defined beliefs. Conservatism is a sales kit. It is a small inventory of arguments which are designed to oppose pretty much anything and to support pretty much anything. Conservatives are on all sides of all arguments at the same time.

The only thing Conservatives agree on is that non-Conservatives have no rights, should not be elected to anything, and deserve the contempt of the world. Conservatives believe that they, and only they, are entitled to win elections. Why? I have no idea.

Most Conservatives in Congress are embarrassingly dumb. They use big words they cannot define. They cannot name the last ten presidents and their primary accomplishments. They cannot define Liberalism, Socialism, Communism, or even Conservatism.

On the other hand, they have terrific taste in suits.

Did this guy just crawl out from under a rock and have no idea what politics is all about? I approve of his rejections of McCain and Palin, but his are not the right reasons!
