Washington (CNN) - The Dalai Lama and President Obama have come to agreement on at least one issue: more women should occupy leadership positions.
Following a meeting with President Obama, His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama spoke with the White House press corp. As he walked out toward the cameras, the Dalai Lama playfully threw snow at the press who were waiting for his arrival.
During his remarks to the press, the Dalai Lama spoke of his belief that women are "more sensitive to suffering" and therefore should be in more leadership positions. The Dalai Lama said that Obama agreed with this idea.
At the end of an extensive statement on the meeting between the two men, the Dalai Lama told the press he would take questions at a press conference following his visit with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton later in the day.
But he warned the press to come prepared, "Don't bring silly questions," His Holiness remarked.

Tea Partiers and other deep thinkers on the right probably think the Dalai Lama is some kind of middle eastern terrorist.
I wonder what nobama found to apologize to the Dalai Lama about. You can bet he did but we just do not know for what he found it necessary. Oh well, nobama does not really need a reason to apologize for this country, he just enjoys it.

Women are strong, intelligent, multi tasking individuals! I bet that a single mom can balance the hell out a budget as well as lower the deficit! We need a woman leader! It Is Time! This country speaks of equality and tries to promote that message around the world but fails to practice what we preach! We are hypocrites! Many Democratic countries have Women as their leaders. We gave the men many chances and from both political parties they've failed us! We need an intelligent Female who is a FREE thinker. I do not care if she is a DEMOCRAT OR a REPUBLICAN......As long as it is not PALIN!!!
We can learn a lot from this wonderful man.
generally speaking, I agree: women are more sensitive to suffering. I think if more women were involved we would have had a universal health care plan by now.
as an aside, societies tend to entrain women to be more sensitive. it's not that men don't have that ability; they just are taught to cultivate it.
I wonder if the Dalai Lama had to wash the stench of failure from himself after meeting with Obama? We Democrats allowed the election to be hijacked by a bunch of worthless children and once again have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in electing this creature who is not even marginally qualified or competent to run the nation.
I hope that the Dalai Lama can see that our President is China's biggest ally. He is selling us out to them, and soon they will own us. Just like they own Tibet.
